Honestly? It depends. Lissa's cold blast(A simple energy blast) checks SR, but her water(Simple physical) and ice(Composite physical) blasts do not. I'll quote the relevant section from OA about kinetic blasts.
Simple Blasts
A kineticist gains a simple blast from her primary element at 1st level—some elements offer more than one option. When a kineticist gains a new element via the expanded element class feature, she gains a simple blast from that element as well. Each simple blast is either a physical blast or an energy blast. Physical blasts are ranged attacks that deal an amount of damage equal to 1d6+1 + the kineticist’s Constitution modifier, increasing by 1d6+1 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st. Spell resistance doesn’t apply against physical blasts. Energy blasts are ranged touch attacks that deal an amount of damage equal to 1d6 + 1/2 the kineticist’s Constitution modifier, increasing by 1d6 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st.
Composite Blasts
Composite blasts combine elements to form a new blast. When a kineticist gains a new element through expanded element, she gains access to all composite blasts for which she qualifies. Most composite blasts are either physical or energy blasts, like simple blasts. Physical composite blasts deal an amount of damage equal to 2d6+2 + the kineticist’s Constitution modifier, increasing by 2d6+2 for every 2 kineticist levels
beyond 1st; energy composite blasts deal an amount of damage equal to 2d6 + 1/2 the kineticist’s Constitution modifier, increasing by 2d6 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st.

Is there some reason we cannot call the spider-centaurs Driders? Is that a trademarked name or do IC just lack the knowledge?
No, not really.
The name drider is open content as far as I know -- not that it really matters in a gaming (as opposed to a publishing) context.
I was calling them spider-centaurs because they were never formally identified with a Knowledge check. However, I think it reasonable a level 9-11 Pathfinder would know what a drider is.
So call them driders by all means ;)

Good deal. I do believe that some things are off limits for pathfinder like spell names that list their old Greyhawk creater in their name. Mage Sword instead of Mordenkainen's Sword or some creatures like Mind Flayers. But even that might be urban legend.

Yes, if you check the old D&D 3.5 system reference document, you will find many of the more recognizable monsters have been left out. Those are the ones WotC considers proprietary content and thus not usable by other companies.
Gurkagh
|
Nothing from my end, sorry--Gurkagh just doesn't think that far ahead!
Brethí
|
Squeezing, presumably. Half your space just has combat penalties, and smaller requires an Escape Artist check. Brethí is at +3 for the skill, so if that is requires, I just need a DC and whether she can take 10/20. Imago can cast ice slick, which does not specify a useful benefit but feels like it should make it easier to pass since the ice persists despite the spell being instantaneous.
| Yours is mined |
I will allow squeezing + an Escape Artist check DC 30, per tight spaces in the CRB.
Each ice slick Imago casts allows +2 to Brethí’s Escape Artist check, before the slick melts under the intense heat energy of the light beam.
Brethí may take 10 on the check but may not take 20, as the check carries a penalty for failure ie: the light beam zap
Brethí may try again, but each failure results in her taking the lightning + fire damage: 5 + 6 = 11
I know I am being a bit of a hard-ass on this issue, but I genuinely have difficulty seeing how a 10’ wide tree-woman fits in the < 5 metre space between a stone wall and a continuous laser beam.
Fortunately, the rules go some way to guiding us on how difficult this should be.

She did point out the dark shaft heading upwards to the others, however. ”Looks like it’s flying time again,”
Given it’s a holiday weekend, I’ll allow some time for folks to heal up or take in the ambience of the first level of the pyramid before moving us on.
Everyone currently retains the ability to fly.
Brethí
|
Then Brethí is out, because her Escape Artist maxes out at 25 unless we rest overnight and Imago prepares a massive number of ice slicks.
They fit because fighting space is not the same as the size of their physical body, but it's perfectly fair to say that this is too small even given that.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but I have to travel overseas for the next several days and won't be able to post. I'll be back on May 9th. GM, would you please bot me in the meantime? Thanks!

I'm back, many thanks for botting!

G’day Players,
The official Outpost V end date of May 16 is rapidly approaching.
It’s possible we will be done by then, but if not, we will only be a few days late. If this is of concern to you, please let me know and we’ll work something out.

Each player (and that includes the GM) should roll a D20 to see if they win a boon; a 19 or 20 wins, winners need to roll 1d3 to see which boon.
The Player boons are: Traveler of an Unstable Timeline | Share the Wealth: Companions | Expedition Manager
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Sorry! NO RE-ROLLS on Boons.

I have 3 players already, but am looking for MOAR!
This is an unabashed plug for the #4-09 Blakros Matrimony (3-7) game I am running via VTT as a part of PaizoCon Online, this coming Friday evening (US Pacific time)
If you are interested the date, times and details are in the sign-up link on Warhorn >> Here <<

When the drider steps back Dolamite Follows him and if it still tries to cast it will provoke an AOO that could disrupt the spell. So, shall Dolamite roll his AOO or will the drider try to cast defensively?
Nice. Is that the Step Up feat?
If so, take your AoO (and Turn), Dolamite. The drider will not cast defensively, having been surprised you can follow him so quickly.

Assuming that this drow is a evil cleric of some sort, I feel the need to mention that Lissa has a Nexus Crystal from running Bonekeep. It gives her Negative Energy Resistance 10

Not dim at all! Thanks for asking :)
I want to give everyone who wants to a chance to react to the End of Combat, and finding the stolen items from the last Caravan raid.
(Maybe 24 hours from the time of posting??)
I'll then add a Concluding Post, which people are welcome to respond to and/or roleplay amongst yourselves for a bit longer.

No problem, Gurkagh!
Thank-you everyone, for playing "Drow of the Darklands Pyramid" with me.
I will leave Gameplay and Discussion open for a few days for roleplay and to ask questions.
Once things quieten down I will close the threads. I'd expect this would be by early next week.
I do want to apologize for the slow pace of this game. Work was truly a dire bear, to the point where we have decided to part ways. (What a relief!)
I look forward to a smoother run when next we play together, no matter which side of the screen we are on :)

Thanks for the game, YIM! Good to find that playing under you is just as fun as playing alongside you! Enjoyed playing with everyone and hope to see y’all around the forums!

Good to play with all of you. I had a great time and got to play one of those old runs that had eluded me for years. Thanks for letting me play up with you. With that Barkskin buff My AC made me effectively untouchable so my lower HP was never a factor. I never even had to use my Snake Style trick to substitute a +19 Sense Motive roll for touch AC.
Touch AC vs an attack that might otherwise hit: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34 :)
