Average HD +0.5? So with a d8 HP class is that +4 or +5 HP? It's the +0.5 which confuses me.

Drusilla Orizorwyn |

So with the Minimum Standard HP I would get +4 hp[+6 with Con, and 14 total hp]
Bladesinging:

-Proficiency in Light Armor
-Proficiency in Performance
Invoke the Bladesong:2/day(Proficiency Bonus time a day)

-Add Intelligence Bonus to your Constitution saves to maintain the concentration
Spells: Tashas' Caustic Brew, Shield

Hit points 1d8 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1. Yeah, let's go with the 5 hit point minimum gain.
Level 2 cleric now.
Channel Divinity.
Divine Domain Feature. Knowledge of the Ages.
+1 first level spell slot. Thank god, I need that to keep you guys rolling!

DM Jubal |

I'll give Argyri another day.
Don't forget to plan. I can push to next day.
I would appreciate if someone would account the loot.
After spending 100 gp for a pearl tomorrow, you'll discover that
Wondrous item, common
This long, delicate wooden pipe features a bowl made from smooth river stone. When the pipe is lit, smoke exhaled from it does not dissipate, instead lingering around the bearer. After 10 minutes, the smoke forms moving shapes that reenact the bearer's most impressive and heroic achievements for 5 minutes. When this realistic performance is complete, the smoke dissipates. The pipe can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
Medium armor, uncommon
Minor tier
45 lb. AC 14 + Dex (max 2)
While wearing this armor, you have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. In addition, whenever you start your turn underwater with 0 hit points, the armor causes you to rise 60 feet toward the surface. The armor is decorated with fish and shell motifs.
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
The wearer has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stalth) checks.

Argyri Katrakis |

Hey, so sorry! This week really kicked my butt. I'll post today!

Tarn Copperlocks |

Just realized that comprehend languages (a ritual spell) works on written languages. Changing eyes of the rune keeper to a new invocation.
Beast Speech
You can cast Speak with Animals at will, without expending a spell slot.
Let’s put that charisma and persuasion to use. Also because my son insisted, so I really can’t say no

Blacklock |

Tarn, one subtlety, not that it matters much is that comprehend languages requires you to touch the writing. Super rare of course to find a trap like that, and not worth changing back, just mentioning it. I've seen it in some published adventures.
I can run a spreadsheet for the loot calculations but not until later today.

Tarn Copperlocks |

@Blacklock: And if doesn’t require ritual casting. So it’s much more convenient…but as I looked through the invocations with my boyo and said he could pick the replacement, I’m now honor bound to it. :)
As for the magic items, who wants them? The pipe seems like something Blacklock would use.
——
Finally, I think we found plate armor. I don’t know if it is RAW, but could Tarn use the breastplate? And at Lvl4 he will get heavy armor proficiency, so he could then use the rest of it then? I think it would represent him learning how to properly don, wear and care for the armor over time.

Yes. You did. I would let you strip down to breastplate or half-plate. Both are medium armor.

Tarn Copperlocks |

Wonderful! Half plate it is! We can add my scale mail to the loot pile.

Blacklock |
A suit of Plate Mail [claimed by Tarn] 0

Alright, here it is then using Drusillas list and ignoring the magic scale (claimed by Tarn) and magic pipe (claimed by no one).

Tarn Copperlocks |

Thanks for all the hard work. As you said in the spoiler, claiming the plate for Tarn, not the magic scale armor.

Argyri Katrakis |

Blacklock, you should totally take the pipe...though Argyri may want to share it some day, once she has suitably epic exploits for it to illustrate.
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 3
HP 17
+ Cunning Action now.
I'll happily sell my leather, and buy some studded leather, with our earnings. Do we get 1/2 back on sold stuff? (If so, that's a net cost of 40 GP)

DM Jubal |

Need to double-check that you are selling the two other books found:
* A naval almanac listing tide times for the area of coast around Saltmarsh (a total of one hundred miles of coastline is covered)
* A treatise concerning the demigod Iuz and its minions
Blacklock confiscated the fully illustrated erotic poetry.
You also found an explorer's pack with the plate mail that I don't see on the list.
thanks

Kwin Avassar |

Kwin would like to sell his mace (2.5 gp), short bow (12.5 gp), leather armor (5 gp) and hunting trap (2.5 gp). In turn, he’ll buy studded leather armor (45 gp), holy water (25 gp), two potions of healing (100 gp), and three days of modest lifestyle (3 gp). With his 146.51 share and 10 gp starting money, he’s left with 6 gp and 1 cp
GM, can you confirm that potions of healing are available somewhere in town?

Do I have an opportunity to grab somebody and pullout of the way. Perhaps with a Dex Save? Or do I realize what it is after the fact?
Sorry, no. The drip was a surprise. The slime on the three needs to neutralized before it damages every round.
Anyone who goes into that area can Dex save DC 10 to avoid getting slimed themselves.
cheers

Watching Badger snatch the torch from his hand, the kid quickly extracted vengeance by snatching Badger himself! "Take a boost, gramps!" putting him up on his shoulders and shoving his torch carrying arm closer to the offending patch.
[dice=Dex]1d20+5
Awesome!
In my head I pictured a blanket of green slime dropping from the ceiling on our friends and burning it would be sticking the torch right in front of us where the big green slime layer was over our friends.
I wasn't thinking its just dripping from a coat on the ceiling. That makes more sense. So yeah I'll need the boost. LOL

DM Jubal |

OK. Please let me translate the game mechanics. Three characters have been slimed. Sunlight, any effect that cures disease, and any effect that deals cold, fire, or radiant damage destroys the slime. Or it must be scraped off; however, any nonmagical wood or metal weapon or tool used to scrape off the slime is effectively destroyed. Every round a character is slimed, they take 1d10 acid damage, so hurry.
To not get slimed, just avoid the area. It cannot move. It is not sentient. It is a hazard that can be avoided by going around.
Feel free to adjust your actions.
cheers
