She thinks for a moment, "Davian? Shit we thought you all were dead...
...
... well I guess we were mostly right. Anyway, if you'll stop trying to eat our faces perhaps we could explain ourselves."
She has no intention of stopping her attacks unless the enemy shows they are first willing to do the same.

Red Reverend is paralyzed by the bite attack.
Reroll is success against disease
Keynala hits with the trident but misses with the shield.
With a gesture towards Red Reverend, Arenzo smiles and says “I’m perfectly happy taking a snack break while the rest of you talk.” It is clear that he intends to eat Red Reverend if given time.

Bolded may act.
Religion to identify the remaing creature.
The troll is above the alter and bloody floor. Moving in those squares requires a DC 10 Acrobatics check in order to run or charge in this area. If a creature fails this check by 5 or more, it falls prone.
The troll has one arm free and is hanging from a chain. You can attempt to push the troll so it swings from the chain with a CMB attack to do a Bull Rush. You can also attempt to cut the chain. The chain is too thick and sturdy to break.

Korgaar hearing the troll complain of hunger suggests that they give it the body of the first ghoul while working on the chain. Soon the chain is broken and the troll keeps its promise, leaving without eating any of you today.

Korgaar the Keen
|
Korgaar eyes the troll warily on its way out.
"Not sure we should have done that" he mutters. "But it wasn't right to leave it be either. Maybe our helping it will teach it something."
"Right. Anything else to find around here? Otherwise it looks like our report is going to say the place if full of melon monsters and Arenzo Davian became an undead, and we destroyed it. Can't see what's terribly controversial there. Will Thrune care if anyone knows Arenzo's fate? Surely it would just serve as a warning to their enemies?"
| GM Bret |
Searching, you don’t find anything more of value down here.
You do find a skeleton buried in the fissure, a single arm waving as it tries to free itself. You don’t think there is any chance of that happening soon.
Otherwise there are the murals and reliefs. You could take impressions from the reliefs, they appear to be from the time before Aroden died.

"I'm sure the Chelaxian government will find a problem with whatever we tell them. Best to take a circuitous route back."
Korgaar the Keen
|
"How deep to those tunnels go?" Korgaar asks with a nod towards the undead's hiding place. "Think there're any more of those things? Might be worth checking."
Korgaar is game for checking the tunnels but would prefer not to do so alone.
The Red Reverend

"If you want to free my friend here," the Reverend says, pointing at the trapped but moving skeleton, "I'll be happy to help you. I just don't think it will turn out all sunshine and rainbows like you think."
| GM Bret |
You pack the various remains still in their burial linens into the handy haversack.
Getting to the skeletal arm would be tricky. It would require squeezing, and Korgaar says the rocks in the area are unstable. He thinks if you tried digging the skeleton out the most likely result would be a further collapse of the fissure, potentially trapping one of you under a pile of rocks.
Keynala Smith
|
Nala looks through the possessions, ”You would think there would be a journal or something. Ugh. Hopefully these wall sketches are worth something. Let’s be careful on the way out, just run past the plant dude.”
She gives a good inspection to the skeleton king/queen in the other room and looks that room over again as well.

You proceed up the stairs to the grate. None of you see the gourd leshy when you get to the top of the stairs, but given what you saw before you suspect it is better at hiding than you are at seeking — especially in a patch of gourds.
Colleen, Korgaar, Red Reverend and Keynala see trinkets on the ground where the other two plant creatures had fallen. You were in too much of a hurry when fighting to have noticed them before.
You can just leave or fight the final leshy. Up to you. You already know what sort of damage one of these creatures does.

"Bah, looks like the melon-monster is being sensible this time."
Korgaar keeps his shield up just in case, and recovers the shiny things.
