Stroime joins Madalena, quickly and carefully placing books into the bag.
Thievery+2+2: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (20) + 22 = 42
In addition to taking books, Stroime stumbles upon the answer to the ultimate question about Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Thulgrun as worked the crafting, and moves on to brute force. He has to get into where the leaky pipes are and seal them off so that is what he does.
Athletics(M): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36
Again, he uses his head, mostly as a large mallet.

Seeing that brute force is, in fact, an option, Sten follows Thulgrun's lead.
Athletics (M): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22
Using my last Hero Point to try to suck less....
Athletics (M): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32

Going to throw another Thievery roll at this to get some more books. Do we get ANOTHER +2 from Stroime's crit?
Can't let Stroime show me up!
Thievery: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (18) + 21 = 39 Add +2 to this if Stroime's Crit counts as well

as much as I'd like to say Stroime's crit can hitchhike with the others, I don't actually believe that's true. Pretty sure all crit-success are a singular source of circumstance in this case as it say "a crit success" not "each crit success". However, I think there's sufficient evidence to call this anyway, so...
Just as Stroime and Madalena finish stuffing the books in their magic pillow case, Thulgrun and Sten come downstairs to announce that they've successfully shut off the water.

“Well done everyone. Unless I am forgetting something it seems we’ve accomplished everything we were asked to do. But I can’t help wonder what that crazed organ player was up to? What was he trying to accomplish with all of this?”
Thulgrun Ironfist

"Probably something we'll never know, Stroime. Not sure I want to know, as it happens." replies Thulgrun.
"The important thing is that we've counteracted his plans, and can recover the valuable books."

with the crisis averted I can assume someone will eventually get to the Searching all-the-things mode.
Stroime: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
Sten: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
Thulgrun: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Flac: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Kovac: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Madalena: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25
Stroime: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Sten: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Thulgrun: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Flac: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Kovac: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Madalena: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 27
Apparently, while everyone else was busy saving the books, Kovac was antique shopping. She notices these nice hurricane lamps throughout the library. Ten in all, they are made of fine silver, use plain oil, and the glass shields are specially designed to keep the flame contained and away from stuff like parchment, scrolls, and books. Modern inexpensive continual flame made such devices obsolete long ago, which means they are quite rare. A large set of well-crafted specimens such as these will be worth a significant sum in collectors' markets.
Sten also takes a moment to smash the evil organ, so Madalena can scoop up it's numerous valuable ivory keys.

With the Keep secured, you climb your way back to the surface. The ominous storm that previously hovered over the area has turned to the less severe dull-grey typical of Ustalav weather. And the rain has stopped.
Trudging down the gravel road you come upon a small town. Some villagers inquire about the break in the storm, "That place'iz always bin like that, why'd't stop now?" Hearing of your successes, the villagers are grateful. A 'feast' (such as it is in backwater Ustalav) is held in your honor at the local tavern.
Word of your triumph travels fast, and you are soon informed that Gorm Greathammer wishes to meet you there post haste. Sure enough, in 2 days time the noble dwarf is seated across from you. Cautiously removing a sample book from your Bag of Holding, his face beams with delight. "I can't believe it. You actually found them!" He hands the book to one of the many scribes accompanying him, who begins casting protection magics on it. Other assistants help with carefully emptying the bag in order to return it to you. "I have brought a wagon that will safely transport these back to Absalom were we can begin searching the unknown wonders within these tomes. The Grand Archive is forever in your debt. Oh, I have also brought coaches and horses to take you wherever your next adventure may lead. It has been a great experience working with you all."
