Asher has his eyes on the AC boosting items after that encounter.
'Buying out' the Amulet of Natural Armor is a smart move as would be the Ring of Protection if he can afford both. Or he could save up for +1 Mithral Breastplate.
| Asher 'Cinnis' Regillenus |
The ring and amulet are the plan. Asher will also buy an item or trade goods from the loot when we are getting our next long break to add an enchantment to his melee weapon by way of the Locathah.
If no one wants the belt, Asher will buy it out of the loot. On land, it’s good for his archery and his AC everywhere.

☄. *. ⋆ Farewell To Allies ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
The party finishes surveying the area and organizing their spoils. As you regroup, Koloshkora approaches the party.
"I need to return to my tribe. I will see later to catch an alligator, yes?" Koloshkora doesn't quite get idioms, but perhaps the party finds her efforts charming. The locathah swims down the coast, quickly disappearing from sight.
Vriskirsa emerges from the Joskadalr's stern. "I alwaysss keep my word. Let'sss get your reward." The party retraces their steps along to coast back to Vroskirsa's Lair (area G) to claim the pearl dolphin figurine of wondrous power worth 7,600 gold. Vriskirsa uses Mage Hand to lift the 2-inch-long pearl figurine and gently deposits it into an outstretched hand. "Until you sssettle thingsss with the witch, I'll remain here." Vriskirsa offers to cast Water Breathing on the party whenever they come to visit. The naga also divulges that she's able to cast Dispel Magic if the party ever has need of it.
You can tell Vriskirsa enjoys hosting and showing off her precious collection of historical items. Vriskirsa offers to buy any pretty or interesting trinkets the party may find in their future endeavors. She's willing to purchase small historical items that weigh five pounds or less at full value. "Thisss wasss nicsse. We ssshould do it again sssoon."
✦ Talmandor's Bounty * ˚ ✦
The party's journey back to Talmandor's Bounty takes five hours. Everyone is tired from the rigorous combat and previous travel, but the journey provides you with time to think. As Mauro is walking, he reflects on their combat. The skeletal servant he summoned at the Ershirani Reef had different shredded clothing and accessories than the skeletons he's been summoning on the island. The skeleton was also slightly taller than the average skeletal servant. Anyone who would look at Mauro's skeletal servants may also realize this.
Ramona is out talking with a couple fisherman and soldiers when you return. Seeing your weary state, she insists you eat a hot meal and rest. She promises to talk with you in the morning.

✦ Talmandor's Bounty * ˚ ✦
Today is Oathday (Thursday), 15 Sarenith (June) 4717.
After some much-needed rest in the barracks and a hardy breakfast, the party heads towards the Government House to meet with Ramona. However, you spot the colony leader outside, standing by the palisade gates. She's trying to calm down limping soldiers with visible injuries. "Okay. I'll have the colony troubleshooters look into it." She turns to you, looking as seriously grave as when you first arrived on the Peregrine. "Perfect timing. I'm afraid one of the colonists is missing." This ranks high on bad news. You remember your arrival to Talmandor's Bounty and how it had been empty of all its colonists. Perhaps you regret eating so much at breakfast or perhaps there's a lump forming in your throat.
Ramona explains she sent these soldiers to investigate the disappearance of Soran Vigaldo. Apparently, Soran went out fishing at dusk two days prior and hasn’t returned. When the soldiers went down the west coast to look for signs of Soran, a pair of strange, winged reptilian creatures ambushed them. "Please," Sighra Harleau, one of the soldiers speaks up, "find out if those monsters had anything to do with Soran’s disappearance and slay the beasts."
When the party is ready, The site the soldiers describe lies three miles South of Talmandor’s Bounty, on a rocky stretch of coast by sheer basalt cliffs near the mouth of the bay. Driftwood twists along the rocks and patches of sandy beach, and you note plentiful crabs scuttling about in the shallow tide pools—a potential source of food for the colonists. These crabs count as one of the natural resources Ramona wanted you to scout out.

He will also cast Longstrider on himself once the party starts their journey.

In preparation for the walk, Talath casts Longstrider on himself. As the party draws near to the site in question, Mauro casts False Life on himself. The skeleton raised looks like the stereotypical skeleton raised on the island.
Asher and Mauro both examine the sand upon arrival. The crabs grab Asher's attention and the ranger contemplates how many would fit into a boiling pot. Mauro stays on task, noticing the soldier's path in the sand, where they appear to have spun around, then retreated the way they came. Flecks of blood mar the beach where the scuffle occurred.
Becky loads her short bow and Antaral rearranges several pouches on his belt for easy access reagents.

He tries to contribute but his bolt joins the others littering the sands and he sighs in resignation. His aim seems to be lacking again, even with the aid of others.
Crispin has another round of actions; the GM was saving his place in the 2nd round (the crossbow shot) so he has another set of actions in the 3rd round.

Ok, I have moved Antaral on the map to make his grapple check... He cannot charge: "If any line from your starting space to the ending space passes through a square that blocks movement, slows movement, or contains a creature (even an ally), you can’t charge."
Unless Antaral has a feat (improved grapple) or other special ability, the chupa will get an AoO, whose damage will subtract from Antaral's CMB check; thus his CMB check is 24, less any damage from the AoO. Unfortunately, what Mauro does is dependent on grapple success/failure (as the grappled critter is pulled base to base with the larger of the two), so we are in spoiler territory... I have moved on the map as if the grapple succeeded
Seeing the opening bought with Antaral's grapple, Mauro's skeleton and he both move to finish the thrashing beast. The skeleton is able to reach the beast soon enough to strike with the ranseur. Mauro meanwhile, runs the other side of the thrashing pile, drawing sword and unslinging shield as he goes.
Skeleton move action - move 30'
skeleton standard action - attack with ranseur
Mauro move action - move 20', unsling shield as part of move
Mauro 2nd move action - move 20', draw sword as part of move
To Hit, skeleton: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 16 vs grappled target (-2 ac from reduced dex due to grappled condition)
+3 bab +2 str +1 enhancement +1 naturalist
Damage: 2d4 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4, 3) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 13
+3 1.5*str +1 enhancement +2 occultist
Seeing Antaral's attempt to bring the foe down has failed, Mauro and good skeleton friday exchange weapons again. Mauro, ranseur in hand takes a step to be able to better protect his allies with his reach and waits for the monster to come to him. Meanwhile, the skeleton cranks the crossbow...
Skeleton move action and Mauro move action - exchange weapons
skeleton standard action - load Xbow (will need another move action and a bolt to finish.)
Mauro 5' step to beside Talath and Becky
Mauro standard action - ready attack on the chupa if it comes within reach.
To Hit, Readied Attack, skeleton: 1d20 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 19
+3 bab +4 str +1 enhancement +1 naturalist+1 bless
Damage: 2d4 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 14
+6 1.5*str +1 enhancement +2 champion spirit

☄. *. ⋆ Soran Vigaldo Is Missing ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
In Round 2, Crispin manages to hit the blue mutant chupacabra with a bolt and it does an unknown amount of damage! I think you forgot to roll damage.
In Round 3, Antaral moves towards Asher and manages to pluck the blue mutant chupacabra out of the sky! (I don't usually reveal this information, but the creature's CBD is 17.) The creature squawks in shock. Thanks Mauro for moving Antaral's character and providing rules clarification. You're a real MVP :D
Asher attacks the blue mutant chupacabra with an unknown weapon (I assume it is with the +1 holy reliquary longbow) however even with Precise Shot negating the penalty of his foe being grappled, his shot misses!
Becky even with a penalty to her shot, the young bard manages to sink an arrow into the grappled mutant chupacabra. The creature isn't trying to fight anymore. It's trying to escape and flee.
Talath spreads Desna's luck to Becky!
Crispin acts!
In Round 4, Mauro's skeleton swings the ranseur exchanged with Mauro in the previous round. The blade cuts into the grappled mutant chupacabra, finishing off the small bloodthirsty beast!
The party stands on the beach, full of adrenaline from the fight. A crab skitters over Mauro's skeleton's foot towards the ocean. The crabs here are plentiful and its surprising that nobody managed to step on one during the scuffle. From your debriefing, you know Ramona will be interested in this natural resource.
So, Ruins of Azlant has elements of Kingmaker. One of those elements is finding these resources. Each time the party finds a resource, Talmandor's Bounty will begin construction on a new building associated with that resource.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Back To The Sandbox * ˚ ✦
Looking around, there are no signs of Soran Vigaldo or his boat. These mutant chupacabra sacrificed size for flight and are too small to have carried the colonist off. The trail is cold. The best option now is to report back to Ramona. (But you certainly don't have to.)
At this point (with the event completed) the party may choose to do whatever they'd like. Just let me know. You could discuss Soran not being here, return to Talmandor's Bounty to talk to Ramona, continue to complete quests, meet up with the locathahs, spend a couple weeks of downtime at Talmandor's Bounty, etc.
The party is currently three miles south of Talmandor's Bounty. See Island Map for heart/party icon.

"Ok, that was invigorating. Who's feeling talented enough to climb up the cliff and poke around in the nest to see if they had anything shiny?"
