Therin sends the phantom blade arcing at the pesky elemental.

SW: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 191d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

It'd apply to attack rolls, but not to damage rolls, since its not weapon damage.

Sovereign Court

The Dragon's Demand

I actually believe that Contagious zeal would add damage to the attack. And wow Hosser, what have you done to offend the RNG gods?

Therin's spiritual weapon gets one more cut in before beginning to fade away. Meanwhile, Hosser continues have poor luck in landing a blow or changing the direction of gravity.

I believe that was Therin's last round of spiritual weapon

Grax can recognize the angry and arrogant features of the former slyph mage in the face of the elemental creature he's facing and it appears that Chalissier is holding his breathe while dodging around. Suddenly the cloud darts away, distorting his body in an unusual manner that surprises the fighter, but Grax has faced agile foes before and is able to bring the backswing towards the creature before it slips away.

Acrobatics, Tumble: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Am I correct that your CMD is now 21 because of the STR mutagen?

As the air elemental retreats away, there is a crack of thunder and Chalissier tosses a javelin of lightning at the half-orc. The creature does this while moving and the bolt easily strikes Grax, with the electricity going right through his armor as if it wasn't there.

Lightning Lance, ranged touch: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Just to be clear, if that Acrobatics check doesn't equal or exceed Grax's CR, then he gets an AoO.

Rhu drifts silently towards the wrecked hull, alert for a chance to put an arrow into the reborn enemy.

Despite the reincarnated arcanist being behind the cover of a pylon, Therin manages to land a lucky shot with his crossbow, injuring the caster yet again. This flies forward and readies a shot for the moment Chalissier gets out from behind cover.

No crits on this guy, I'm afraid. He's immune to them.

Yes. I think Grax's CMD does go up by 2 due to his str increase. So CMD of 21.

Wait, I don't get the chance to play and actually use my portfolio reroll very often. I'm a 4 star Gm. Would a 22 hit?

Hosser channels positive energy again and then attempts to change his subject gravity again..

Grax surges after the mage, trying to come around behind him.

I think I can get there in a single move (60 feet). I think the elevation for Grax was off since he was adjacent to Chalissier last round. If it would take him a double move, then ignore the spoilered attack.

If have action for an attack:
Attack (mutagen, PA, CZ): 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 2 = 28

The Dragon's Demand

Somehow the very fabric of reality realigns itself to allow Hosser's spiritual weapon to get a knick in at Chalissier.

Without any ranged weapon or ability to fly, Hskoro stands by helplessly.

Later Hosser channels more energy, then manages to change gravity. He falls 50 feet and crashes into the wreckage of a ship, and finds himself lying face first on the side of the destroyed boat.

Fall Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 2, 4) = 14

Grax, if you're in heavy armor the speed from the fly spell is only 40 ft. Its almost like Chalissier somehow remembers how hard Grax can hit and is doing everything he can to avoid letting him get a proper swing in.

Acrobatics to Tumble: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Taking your roll from your previous post Grax.

Chalissier tries to escape from Grax with some fancy maneuvering, but once again Grax is ready and this time his sword connects. The blade slices through the elemental and cleaves it into two pieces. The mage Chalissier has been defeated by the Pathfinders for the second and hopefully final time.

Combat Over!

The party returns back to the safehouse, evading the rest of Hshuru's agents lurking around the Clockwork Junkyard. After about a day, Jamila returns and is fully recovered. The party stays in the safehouse for the rest of the week until Captain Nix is scheduled to return for their ride back home.

The trip back is also uneventful and Ashasar is quite happy to see everyone arrive back safely with the Horn of the Hurricane in their position and he throws a feast in the their honor. At the end of the festivities, the suli approaches the party and offers them a proposal.

“Once again, you have my utmost thanks in retrieving the Horn of the Hurricane. This weapon will be invaluable in defending both our agents against the forces of the Duchess of All Winds. One matter remains: where will the horn be stored? The Concordance is best positioned to distribute the horn to those who need it most, but I’ve been informed that your Society has an impressive storage facility that keeps such relics safe. In the spirit of our growing relationship, I leave the choice with you.”

Given that the Horn is fairly powerful, I think it should be kept in the safer spot. That and with the opposing factions in the Concordance as well....the Society is the better choice... Therin muses after having a few days to process things.

The half-orc scratches his whiskers for a moment. "I think Rhu's got the right of it. This whole thing started with something being taken from us." vote to give it to the concordance

Sovereign Court

The Dragon's Demand

This actually just matters for Grand Lodge followers, as they are the ones that get the boon.

After some deliberation the party eventually agrees to turn the Horn of the Hurricane back over to the Concordance for the time being. Ashasar says, "I think you made the right choice in siding with us. I know it must have been a difficult decision, but having this item in our position will help us establish order amongst the Planes. And of course, it is a sign of trust that will help cement our alliance together. Here's to our future collaboration with new friends!" The suli offers a final toast to the Pathfinders.

After several more days of rest, the arrangements to return home finally come together and the party makes their way back from the Plane of Air to the city of Sothis. Venture Captain Balentiir is relieved to see that everyone made it back alive and congratulates them on their hard work. "It is a shame that you didn't return with the Horn of the Hurricane, but you did come back with something more valuable. Having strong allies within the Elemental Planes is something that we have been seeking awhile. I don't think you could have found a more useful ally that shares so many of our goals."

"Congratulations! You have done great work for the Pathfinder Society and your deeds will be chronicled for all time! I know that you have accomplished so much, but with news of your deeds spreading amongst the Lodges I am sure you all will be requested for new mission soon, so get your rest while you can!"
