Etgar opens the door.


This room contains two bunk beds made of thick, dark wood, one against the north wall and one against the south. The mattresses on each bed are neatly folded up, without pillows or bedclothes. A dresser and a small wooden chest stand against the west wall. The room’s only exit is a sliding double door in the east wall. The dresser is empty, though the trunks contain linens.

Etgar shrugs, then walks into the room. He looks under the mattresses and then heads over the traps, giving it a look for traps as well.

If he finds none, he attempts to open it.


There are no traps in this room. There is nothing other than what was described above.

Etgar, the entry point will not matter, so here ya go:

Etgar does not detect the trap. You do not know that. Proceed and no you cannot detect Magic at this point, Niu.

Etgar hears a truly evil sounding voice speaking in a language he does not know. It is terribly unpleasant.

Donovan will move to the door and wait for a nod from Etgar, once he gets the go ahead he will open the door and step in.

Etgar looks to Don and nods, giving his assessment in a whisper. It seems fine. But, there's a voice on the other side...sounds particularly nasty. Maybe if we enter here on the third we'll come in with the high ground - on a balcony or something? It's as good a plan as any.

He takes a step back to allow Don to open the door.

Etgar draws and drinks his extract of shock shield, though one wouldn't know it as the shield is invisible. His eyes track to the staff, and he grimaces as he whispers from behind Don. That whole flying thing sort of complicates things...I think we need him to come up here so I can reach him.
