The assualt from Coop eliminates the remaining mongrelman at the gates, but sounds can be heard from the next room. A loud horn echoes through the halls.

Firas opens the door and reveals a larger room. The lingering smells of cooked meat and rank bodies hang in the air. Ten bedrolls, each piled with coarse blankets and animal furs, surround a fire pit filled with glowing goals. Tanned hides hang stretched on the walls, each crudely painted with scenes of deformed humanoids hunting giant vermin in caves. There are two mongrelmen in here, one with a horn pressed to it's lips.

we'll just stay in initiative at this point. George, since your target for the demoralize would be invalid, because... dead.... you're still free to act

"It's just a little crush.." 2 of rounds of Lingering Performance remaining.

George quickly scampers through the opened door. Stepping sideways to keep his back to a wall he calls out to the rest. "Two more enemies, 3 doorways!"

Single move would get me to the spot by the barricade. Double move gets me in the second room. Not able to demoralize.

I've now played with two bards that use real songs as their inspirations and I'm kicking myself that I've never done that. Just know Coop is quietly reciting Del's first verse from Clint Eastwoodto himself as he steps into the room.

Coop crosses the room quickly to help out Firas. Still speedy due to Sudden Speed.

Let me know if/when my buffs end, Alex, not sure how long elasped between my casting and us encountering the group at the door.
