Davian and Gideon struggle to climb up, but Aragelda is able to make it up. As she does, Calmont's eyes widen in shock as he tries to follow through with his threat.

As he makes to do just that, Helba takes advantage of the situation, stomping on his foot, causing him to drop his blade, and scampering away to rejoin her friends.

Calmont, screaming pulls out his bow and shoot Edjara! His shot goes wide as his foot still stings

Staggered by the viscous stabbing, Aragelda is unable to land her blow, but notices some inscriptions on the bow that seem interesting.

Edjarha moves in, and is able to lay some smack down this time.

Davian cast a spell to defend Aragelda.

and Bloody Hells, he does not have improved feint. So only the first attack had sneak. So, Aragelda has 8hp, not 4, of that matters. You can change your action if it does.

It won't change the turn, but I'm happy to have the hit points back!

Botting Gideon

Needing to get a line of sight, as well as quite a bit closer, Gideon moves up the stairs, getting ready for anything. Once in a better position, he pulls out his short bow.

Grumbling now about the thieving dwarf, Calmont moves in, shows an attack against Edjarha, but at the last moment turns his blade into the now unsuspecting Aragelda!

Gideon's electric arc cuts through Calmont, even though he is missed by the worst of it.

Aragelda is also out for blood, as her hammer hits home with her first strike.

Edjarha is not feeling so bloody-minded, perhaps remembering the mission, as he manages to strike with his second blow.

"GAH! You bastards! I'll get you for this!" He steps up to Edjarha, seeemingly stumbling on a rock. Edjarha is momentarily thrown off guard, and the halfling strikes with his dagger. Unfortunately for the halfling, he misses.

Calmont's body lights up with Davian's spell, but he does not go down.

Davian's spell has a similar effect to Damian's! Still he stands.

Edjarha's nerves get the better part of him, and he is unable to land a blow on Calmont.

Calmont then attempts another distraction, as he goes after Edjarha once more, chuckling that Aragelda couldn't hit a nail on the head with a hammer the size of an oak tree and he follows Edjarha.

With a mighty blow, Aragelda drops Calmont, her lethal warhammer striking his head with a sickening 'thunk'.

The halfling drops to the ground immediately, blood draining out everywhere.

As the dust from the drama on the battlements settles, you hear a distinctive, garbled throat-clearing coming from nearby. Soon, the short, slight goblin woman who’d been held hostage by Calmont approaches. "Excuse me," she says, in a voice like that of a hoarse bird. "Excuse me, and thank you, friends. You are friends? You must be friends, because you’ve just saved the Bumblebrashers from that man. So much flailing! And shrieking! Ack!

"I am Helba, and I am the Bumblebrashers’ chieftain. We have been stuck up here for so long—days it feels like! Maybe even weeks? Hard to keep track. First those awful monsters chased us from our comfy basement, then that dragon-dog came, and then that awful halfling man showed up talking about elves and other nonsense! No elves live here! Just us Bumblebrashers!"

Helba looks back at her people, and a deeply morose look settles upon her face. "I just want to protect my people. But everything—everyone—wants us dead."

Aragelda looks to the unconscious forms of Edjarha and Ingraham. "I think I know how you feel. We need to rest and heal. Is there a safe place inside this building or should we take everyone outside?"

Davian looks a bit worried from all of the stories and myths surrounding this place. "What monsters in the basement and is he going to be alright?" He kneels down beside Calmont. "We should get him to town before he dies."

Davian looks down at the halfling, now, a who after all the lethal damage done to him, doesn’t seem to be breathing. And that head wound looks pretty nasty... as well as all the electrical burns...

Helba looks at the body from a distance, and spits. ”He dead. ”

Gideon checks over his cloak and pants for holes "What a day... what a day..."

"Let's get Edjarha and Ingraham to somewhere safe. It's going to take a while to heal them both."

Davian follows along for a place to rest. "We should still return his body to town." He looks back solemnly at a once prominent town member lying dead in this fortress.

Aragelda joins Davian's gaze. "Did you know him, then? I'm new to this town, myself."

Looking over the battlements, you can see Warbel has set up a little camp on a nearby hill. Her idea of stealth seems to have been to set on the top of the hill, rather than somewhere totally out of sight.

"Just from around town was all, not too personal." Davian is just mostly sad that Calmont pushed the situation further resulting in his death. He begins to head towards the hill for a bit of much needed rest.

Meeting back up with Warbel he offers a slight smile. "Is this all of your clan Warbel?"

The goblins follow Davian down the rope, and out to the hill where Warble is. Warble shrieks with joy as she sees the goblins!

Davian feels a tug on his shirt. "Please," pleads Helba, "Will you help us regain our home?"

Warble grins, "Oh, they are FABULOUS heroes! I KNOW they will help out!"
