I know it isn't my choice- but I'll gladly "pass" on the extra chronicle to keep playing with the group. And we have done well so far, I think that Castinus should continue to play with us, tri-level be darned!
Kal will be a level 5 Bloodrager, Level 2 Dragon Disciple- and should pretty easily fill both the frontliner/tank roll.
I, too, have an inquisitor archer- but I ended up taking Sacred Huntsmaster to have an animal companion. He is level 7 now with a large cat companion, and still very much fun to play (getting past level 5 is super helpful for that)

Gents - thank you for your advice and accommodation. I very much enjoy the stories we have built together, and especially all the work put in by Jim.
I definitely want to continue on with you all. I do think though that whatever I do, Castinus' time here will come to an end, one way or another. He's 3-4 levels down on most of the party, and that makes him fairly fragile even before his flawed build. He's fun to play, but carrying on means the dice will catch up with him. He's a smart guy for all the bravado, and he doesn't like the feel of Pharasma's bony hand on his shoulder...
So - what to do? Well, if you'll have me I'd like to continue through these Tapestry adventures with you. I'm attracted (not in that way...) to Shardra, the iconic dwarven Shaman. I'd like to try a shaman, and her 'lore' spirit focus fits with the Pathfinder Society backstory rather better than some other classes. Maybe it was her that mentored Castinus' interest in the Occult...
Jim, are you OK with me going 7th level iconic from here, rather than 4th level Castinus ? Do say if not. Not using the credits is not an issue for me - it's all subsidiary to the fun of the game. If it works for you guys I can get Shardra drawn up tomorrow and be ready to roll...
What of Castinus then? Well, From Shore to Sea sounds great. I note it's level 6, so a two level drop but that's more survivable than 3-4 levels. And he is part swashbuckler after all. GM Elberion, if you could find him a place there I'd be excited to join!

I'm running a module (and soon another one) to try and leap-frog Quensha up to level 8. She's got pre-gen credit for level 4 and is collecting it for 7. That means I need it for 5 and 6.
Castinus, if you haven't found anything else for Castinus, I could save a space for him in From Shore to Sea.
I have a monk/Paladin 7 or an Archer Inquisitor 7 that would love a home!
I would also have no problem joining watery soup, but 4-5 is a hole in my characters (I have a couple 2s and then a couple 7's)
EbonFist
I'll be sad to see Castinus go, but I understand not wanting to play him with such a gap, both because of the risk to him and because having a lower leveled character can be a risk to the rest of the party.
We were probably going to have to do something at some point, anyway. I think, sooner or later someone was going to go out of tier for the 3-7's.
Bring Shardra in and when/if Castinus catches up, he can make a triumphant return!
But, since everyone will be in the 5-9 range, I believe I'm actually going to run #6-21 Tapestry's Toil, next. From reading Ward Asunder, this is one of those situations where an earlier published adventure but with a higher range has repercussions for a later adventure at a lower range.
EbonFist
Actually...that doesn't work either...because then Kal'Ryon will be out of tier when we come back to Ward Asunder...
Well, I knew this might happen, too. We'll do Ward Asunder and loop back to Tapestry's Toil and assume it's some sort of time travelling incident.
Unless Kal'Ryon wants to go ahead and get the bonus chronicle, become level 8, we can play Tapestry's Toil, then he can play a Pre-Gen or another character for Ward Asunder.

I’ll take the bonus chronicle to play 8, then play ward asunder and bring in Edmund who is level 7 inquisitor/archer

The Chronicles for these can be interesting. From Shore to Sea is 5-7 and the adventure was written for 4 level 6 PCs.
Most modules have much tougher BBEG endings than scenarios.
It was written through an early crowd-funding model by Wolfgang Baur's Open Design (Kobold Press) so my name is in the inside cover and I got to follow the design process.

I just realized that I have played tapestry toil before.
I can burn a replay, since otherwise the scheduling gets really confusing/difficult

How many are you planning on running it for? If only 4 then Castinus' involvement at L4 would be a risk to everyone.

Cool - fame!

I'll run it for 6, just because there's always more players than GMs so I feel a bit churlish doing any less.
Then count Castinus in...

I just had an electrician tell me my house needs about $6500 in repairs/updates, the garage door opener is broken and so is the sliding door to the patio so...that strip is pretty accurate.

And that's the end, gents and gents.
Expect chronicle sheets up and reporting done by the end of the day.
It's taking me a bit longer than expected to read through Ward Asunder, but I'll put the invitation for it up in here when I get it set up.

If the ability damage carries over on pregens, Diazepane will make 4-5 extracts of lesser restoration the next day for Crowe.
EbonFist
Technically, I think that Crowe would have been marked KIA because of the ability drain which means the related character would have been marked KIA, fortunately Diazepane is there to save the day.
Here are the Chronicle Sheets.
Let me know if there are any errors.
Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter.

Looks good to me. Thanks.
Just as a confirmation, Kal will be level 8 for 3 playing sessions. After than, I can either keep playing Kal or drop to a level 7 or 8 character depending on the scenario and need.

Ok...Ward Asunder is a 3-7.
Do I need to run Tapestry's Toil, which is a 5-9, instead?

Sorry! I must have gotten confused about the plan!
I’ll bring a level 7 Kal, or Edmund the archer. No need for you to change what you are prepping.
What is everyone’s preference?
Diazepane Ketal

My preference is to play! :)
I'm not kidding, what we play is kind of minor. I've played so few scenarios that it'd be rare for me to have played one. I prefer to play things in some kind of logical order, but that's a pretty petty request.
If I am on the higher tier side, I can switch to a level 4 (fighter 1 / oracle 3, locked for another week or two). If I am on the lower tier side, I will put GM credits into Diazepane to catch him up (I've been avoiding applying credits to him thinking he would advance too fast). I am happy to work around the group consensus.
EbonFist
My only argument for keeping up with the 3-7's now is that, if more of the character's tier out we won't be able to play them.
My preference is to keep not only the player base but also the characters as consistent as possible.
Also, I've already set up the document for Ward Asunder...
The link will be here soon.
Crowe Elberion
Thanks for the chronicle and game EbonFist, looks good.
It’s going to be weird, I’m racing to get caught up and hopefully at level 8 Crowe will be replaced by Quensha, a very different character.

Alright fellas (and fellas playing ladies) this game has been reported. I'll leave it open until everyone checks in over at the new game.
What's that? Oh...yes...I have already prepped Ward Asunder.
Come on over and join me.
