Sun Fire Boom Boom

Sun Fire Boom Boom does his best to chum the waters on the far side of the boat from the one they are escaping from with any remaining supplies.

Katrina's a bit surprised by Kyra's action but she quickly goes with it. She also returns the favour by showing Kyra how to stealth - although she suspects that Merisiel has probably already shown Kyra a thing or two.
stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 | ((May as well use that 2nd hero point))
stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Viola is going to go back to being sneaky, while keeping a watchful eye on the rest of the party.
stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15I’m going to use my own coin hero point to try that again
stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
I think I need to get some boots without laces. Viola thinks to herself as her foot gets caught up.

While Sun Fire Boom Boom draws the most gullible of the growing horde of undead horrors away, Kyra leads Katrina under the waves and Sideon leads Viola and Fumbus quietly behind the shelter of nearby rocks, moving the recovered cargo in short bursts from cover to cover. After several tense moments you reconvene on the sheltered path leading back up to the cart. From here you can see clearly the dozens of shambling creatures that have emerged from the water under cover of the storm, a horde far too numerous to fight directly. Quietly moving your bounty up the hill, you can load the four crates you were able to recover and make your getaway back toward Kerse.
Venture-Captain Valicho is delighted at your return, welcoming you in out of the rain, which seems to have chased you all the way down the coast. ”Come in, come in! I’ve got a table open by the fire.” He retreats behind the bar, then returns bearing a tray with 6 leather-wrapped tankards, each with a sizzling iron rod submerged in the pungent beverage within. As you warm yourselves, he unrolls the oilcloth and examines the documents within. ”This looks like exactly what Mr. Passad is looking for. Well done, Pathfinders, and thank you for your help! This will go a long way toward establishing our position in Kerse!”
That’s the end! Well done, Pathfinders. You recovered as much cargo as possible, thanks to your success on those skill checks. I’ll get chronicle sheets made up later today and posted in the discussion thread. Thanks for playing, I hope you had fun!
