"Yeah, being repeatedly sniped at is enough to keep me cranky. Also to not make me feel like the aggressor."
Despite his quip, Uli is razor focused, darting around the Sarcesian with casual agility as he rams his blade home!

Bisig limps north to put some separation between him and the Sarcesian and then lines up a shot on the big shot on the rock. With his vision swimming he lines up his shot but misses low, hitting the rock and blowing a chunk off. "Need to adjust, just take a deep breath and don't rush the shot!"
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Guarded Step for my move action then shooting.

Thanks for the correction Duquesne. Lexicor wasn't attacked, Frinke was.
Frinke took 22 damage

GM Ultra Plus |

please remember to say if you're targeting KAC or EAC.
Frinke is able to get a glancing blow and scrape some of the Sarcesian's armor. While Uli doesn't trick the Sarcesian rebel, he is able to slash into the weakened part of the armor and slice open the Sarcesian' chest cavity.
Mengian seeing his last man go down, clicks his eyes, activating his jump jets and flys towards Duquesne. He throws his starknife again, this time at Duquesne.

Bisig moves up behind the central rock and takes another shot at Mengian.

“Your cause might have merit, Mengian, but your methods are pitiful and your tactics ineffective. And worse of all, you had us as an opponent. We will end this now, and your wrong doings will be buried with you, unknown to others.” DuQuesne uses Get’em on Mengian, and since Mengian’s starknife hasn’t returned yet, also shoots him while within reach.
Tactical Plasma bolter vs. EAC on Mengian: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13
Electricity & Fire damage: 1d10 ⇒ 2
At least everyone else has a +1 to attack Mengian...

Lexicor continues to fire his pistol at the big meanie.
Hold still!
pistol: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
Ok, well, I think that settles it. The dicebot hates Lex!

I want to note that in my last post, Mengian clicked his heels, not his eyes. I don't know what happened there, but in my defense I just had finished mowing the lawn and it was very very hot.

Uli vaults backwards away from his dancing partner, springing off the rock wall to drive himself back in in a vicious corkscrew!

Uli's able to kill the last Sarcesian footsoldier.
Both Bisig and Duquesne are able to singe Mengian's skin with their respective guns.
"I'll take one of you down with me, and on your wall of fallen starfinders, they'll know you as the Shame of the Society, fighting for Eox's lich lords." Mengian says with a glint of madness in his eyes, as he stabs at Duquesne.

It appears that, at least, his madness is letting him carve up Duquesne.
Carlos shoots at Mengian. "Bro, you're, like, really harshing the vibe"

“Didn’t know you cared so much about the Starfinder Society, Mengian! I’m touched!” DuQuesne takes a guarded step and shoots his last 4 charges.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

But you have a clear shot to hit Mengian - his ACs seem to be pretty low - and if you still have spells available, DuQuesne could really use a Grease on that Starknife! Just saying...

![]() |

Sorry, out of spell slots, unfortunately. As Mengian is in melee, Lex would be shooting at -4 to hit, correct? Or is that not a thing in Starfinder? Sorry, trying to translate from PFS.

![]() |

Starfinder got rid of that - with the overwhelming focus on ranged weapons, it would make combats pretty rough!

GM Ultra Plus |

You still have to mind cover, but yeah, there's no penalty for shooting into Melee
Duquesne scrambles back and shoot Mengian directly in the gut, and just as Mengian is about to move forward and swing again at the Halfing, Frinke strides up and stabs Mengian right in the next. With his last breath, Mengian croaks out, "You're going to kill us all for those bone lo--". The terrorist crumples to the ground.
The weather around the Blackmoon begins to die down, and you can get into contact with the Starfinder base. Tayhelm will send a group of laborers to help you back to the base.
Fayetta gets in contact with you, via holocomm at the Starfinder base. Taylehm will back whatever decision you make. The three most basic options are
A) to let the Wings of Daimar continue working on Eox, with an understanding that they will no longer harry Starfinder Operations.
B) Reveal the Sarcesian presence to the Eoxian Bone Sages.
C) Demand the the wings of Daimar cease all operations on Eox and leave the planet entirely.
What you decide affects the final chronicle sheet. It does not need to be unanimous, so choose whatever works best for character. They are mutually exclusive. And one of them will require another skill check if you choose it.

I have seen some good Wings of Daimar and I have seen bad factions. But we should let them work on Eox. They have every right, and I believe we drove out the bad ones. Option A obviously.

![]() |

"Fayetta did help us, by selling out her former companions. As long as they stay away from the society affairs, I have no business in their ancient war. I guess we are done here! Marvelous work, my colleagues, top-notch indeed!" DuQuesne congratulates the group, shaking hands.
Option A as well

![]() |

"I think that the Wings of Daimar had their hearts in the right place, and I agree with Uli, I don't have much love for the Bone Sages. As long as they let the Society work on Eox without interference I don't see why they shouldn't be here."
Option A

GM Ultra Plus |

Fayetta's hologram thanks you, and in the coming weeks and months, the reputation of the society increases among the Diaspora's cretchworlds. The society reports higher recruitment than average among the Sarcesian population.
Tayhelm is successful in her operations and is able to keep the Sarcesians secret from Eoxian's Bone Sages. Venture Captain Arvin is excited about the chance to learn about Sarcesian history and lost lore from Daimar's ruins.
Primary and secondary success conditions were met. All I need now are day job checks and we can finally end this scenario.
