Once Malaz leaves the stairway Dale quickly moves into the open space, drawing out one of his magical wands. He bends down a bit to catch the glimpses of their enemies' feet and legs. "Oh ya, now I see the problem!"
He points the wand at the goblin queen and tries to send off a pair of magical missiles at her.

Myth and Ayo both strike Queen Zoagusk, finishing her off...
...the whole complex shudders as Zoagusk falls, and the magical lights flicker before changing in hue. Then all is still. Something has changed, but you cannot know exactly what.

Malaz swings his axe back into place before removing a wand from his belt. He gives it a cursory once over. "Never had occasion to use this yet. Hope it works." Time to find out if the quartermaster is on the up and up.

Once the last goblin falls Dale holds tight to the ceiling as the place shudders "Woah now, what was that? An earthquake maybe?" Knowledge: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38
"Hrm, seems to have stopped. Let's take a look around at this stuff shall we?" Dale slowly floats down to the floor and scans the room with his wayfinder. "Looks like some useful items I must say. A small ranseur +1, small leather armour +1, cloak of resistance +1, and used as a decoration a wand of scorching ray with 11 charges. Not bad at all!" Dale holds onto the wand, just in case.
"Let's go check on that poor priest. I hope he wasn't hurt from that rumble." Dale waves Harold onward.

"I don't know what you did in there" he says in between his celestial verses "but the forces that were trying to escape have receded. You effected the magical change necessary to allow me to complete the seal. I still have several hours work ahead of me - but please, rest and recover before you return to the shoanti."

Later, with Julian's work completed, you explain what you found. "It seems Alaznist's magic invested itself in this 'queen Zoagusk' - but with her defeat you gave me time to prevent such a happenstance repeating." Hearing about the lore you recovered Julian offers to exchange knowledge with you in greater depth. There's a boon on the chronicle sheet that you gain.

Hskoro is clear, though it takes two days. If you use the scroll make a caster level check as per the Remove Disease spell, DC17. The scroll's CL is 5.

Dale is always there to help with heal checks for the +4 bonus.
Dale emerges from the complex, Harold in tow. He checks out the cleric to make sure he's holding up ok. "Glad to see nothing happened to you after that shaking. We've got a few things to check over and recover before you seal this place off again. I'll be quick!" Dale assures him as he drags Harold, and whoever else would assist him back inside to collect as many books, tomes, knick knacks, art, rocks, and 'samples'.
Dale returns promptly... a couple hours later.
