Hot damn! I was going to try and do something similar once I got time, but now I realize anything I would have put together would pale in comparison. Great job Zhera, and thank you from all of us!

If I remember correctly there were just some smelly candles. Not likely anything of specific importance, and I don't remember anyone specifically grabbing those.

Finally, I thought we passed all the checks for the body outside? I can take another pass at it using Society since I have a +7 on that if you think it'll get us any additional information.

Right, the body outside was a halfling or gnome. On our list there are 2 goblins, 1 halfling, and 1 gnome.

Raelyn Mumblewort looks like trader by nature and a worshiper of Abadar.

Kailli Thimbleberry seems more like a bard and is a worshiper of Shelyn.

Of the goblin bodies one was a wizard and the other had a wooden boot and an eye patch?

Largely I don't see a problem bringing the body with us "just in case" but it doesn't seem to match anyone on our side.

First, thanks! I had a bit of time Monday to put stuff together. Turned into a bit more of a rabbit hole than I expected.

The problem with 2e is if you roll too low you can get misinformed. I'm kind of partial to idea that it's not a Pathfinder (I mean the fact that a good percentage of the bodies we've found have been significant is probably likely due to this being a game, and if this was real we'd be sifting through a ton more.) But an Iomedaen researcher is... unusual. The first non-matching body was in heavy weaponry and what not.

Either way I'm okay with just going too.

I was under the assumption we would take anything with us that we could fit in the wagon and stuck out in our investigations. Anything of value that Klank was told about would be retrieved.

If there were bodies that we weren't 100% sure on we could still retrieve them for a proper burial and have some time on return to double check things. Not having that time would be very strange. Not to mention its possible maybe someone like Ezekiel could ride in the back of the wagon and ponder things since he seems to be our brains.

To Zhera's point, you have been finding a LOT of bodies (particularly back in the village square), but I have only mentioned the ones that were notable (primarily by being intact enough to study).

And to Klank, the assumption that you are taking everything that is remotely interesting is reasonable, but for purposes of success conditions I need to know specifics, and what names (if any) you are attaching to which bodies.

Let's hope we can thin these numbers quickly. Damage in 2.0 is definitely harsher than 1.0 at this level. Not to mention a bunch of us are already banged up from the earlier battles.

Problem is who has the holy water?

Second, we all have hero points (I am assuming.) But I don't know how many and who exactly has them.

Third, if we have Hero Points, if we fail a check we can spend one (per check) to reroll it. If you truly want to grapple the man in the robes, might I recommend a reroll?

Finally I have no idea what to do with Zhera. The only damaging spell on her right now is telekinetic projectile, but I'm not sure how much of a help that will be. Her biggest damage out put would be with a magic weapon'd Longbow, but that's not something she can whip out until next turn. Hrmmm, move forward, true strike Debgie (and throw the +1 AC from Blood magic on him?) Then draw a potion to feed next turn? Anyone have a better idea? Maybe heal then true strike next turn? Actually Zhera will true strike (and AC boost for a turn) anyone with the holy water.

Ya I forgot about hero points for something other than not dying.

Some ranged damage on the necro is always good. I haven't met a caster yet that likes rocks thrown at his face :)

I believe that gms are expected to hand out a certain number over the course of a game. There was something about GM experience but I do not remember and it's bed time so I'm not going to check right now.

Everyone starts the game with one hero point. The GM has the option to award additional hero points for particularly awesome play, up to about 1 per face-to-face hour (so about 4 a session). I am still struggling with (a) remembering that in the first place, and (b) deciding what actions deserve hero points.

Zhera hasn't done anything particularly heroic (or in her words, "Heroics is just another name for ostentatious suicide") so no worries here.

As for the holy water, if no one claimed it, then Zhera would have taken it; her philosophy with packing the carts and whatnot has been anything that can reasonably be carried should be. If no one objects to it, then I'll progress with her turn under that assumption.

I had to look back and check but yeah, I focused, healed and the focused, so I believe I have that point. Not sure what our potion supply is like though. I think a lot of them have been used.

Not that it means much $$, but Klank is field commissioned so he earns +50% downtime. So you'll need to multiply his 1c by 12 days vs 8 days. (Yay 4 more coppers!)

I think the system is set up so you can only use one roll per 8 days, meaning you'll need a second roll for the other 4 days (but means you could get 1 sp instead of 4 cp!)

Earn Income, Guide to Play:
Earning Income is the most common Downtime activity. If you are using your Downtime for any other purposes, they must be completed first before you attempt your check to Earn Income. For each 8 day unit of Downtime you spend (including units where you complete multiple activities, such as spending 7 days retraining and then 1 day Earning Income), you attempt one check to Earn Income, using the result to calculate your total earnings for that block of Downtime. The Task Level of your Earn Income check is equal to your level – 2 (minimum 0) by default (GMs should check Table 10–5: DCs by Level on page 503 of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook to calculate the DC), though some boons may allow you to attempt checks against higher-level tasks as a special reward. A check to Earn Income does not carry beyond the 8-day cycle for which you attempt the check.
