"Is here to meet with me Sire".
Narses nods and gestures for introductions to be made.
Yeti drops whatever Obfuscate he was utilizing and stands before you all a rotting corpse!
He bows and a chunk of flesh falls from his neck, "Lord Narses. I humbly request that I be allowed to remain within your Domain. I have made contact with the local Cappadocians who will provide me shelter and sustenance.
I am Yeti Samedi, Childe of Baron Samedi, first of his Bloodline..."
The Prince remains silent and his reaction is unreadable as he turns to look at you Bernardo.

The Blue Mongoose – Savio
"I see that you are pondering this tale as I was.
It was presented to me by Lantla herself, after the Coterie with which I was associated and I accidentally woke her from her slumber...
You can imagine that she was not pleased to find out that she had been asleep since the Fall of Rome when her Brethren within Clan Ventrue had her interred on what we now know as England which was then the farthest reaches of the Roman Empire.
How she gained control of That which Should Not be Named was unclear to us for she never provided us with clarify on the subject.
After we woke her she requested, as only one of such ancient age can request, that we accompany her East that she may seek out the truths that the Demon had whispered to her.
The sense I get is that, in the earlier age she did not seek these truths because someone or something more powerful convinced her to do otherwise. She did mention that she became the Keeper of the Ventrue in her Sire's place. Thus, I can only speculate that Ventrue himself interceded".
He pauses and sighs, "My tale meanders. Let me focus for a minute as this was the time of some of my greatest achievements and my greatest failures.
Lantla, who called herself Tiamat as this was the name she was given by the Romans, brought us East to the encampments of the First Crusade as our goal was to accompany the Crusade and gain power from it.
Once we arrived, Tiamat agreed to let us go under two conditions. The first, that we create Childer that she may have a Herd to feed upon in her journey to the East and Second that we tell no one that we woke her. We agreed to both conditions. This is where and when I Embraced the Man with No Name. She chose him as she chose for all of us our Childer. I never knew his name thus the name he gave to me when I encountered him in the city a few months ago for the first time since I Embraced him so many years before.
There is more to tell but for now I assume that you must have some questions no?"

"Do you believe this Lantla is near due to the presence of the Man With No Name, or that she is no more and he is mearly travelling through?
Based on her power I am willing to assume the former rather than the lattter."
Savio leans back in his chair, rolling the story over in his mind.
What do you think her motivations are?
Based on your tale, I hardly see her as being accepting of the Camarilla. She is mostly likely going to be a deadly foe.
Does the Prince know any of this?
Perhaps Alejandro is free of the Prince's will. That would explain why the Prince sent me on this errand. I don't trust Alejandro, but if he is free, he could be the key to unlock my servitude. Or this could be a test of my loyalty.....
Savio hesitates a moment making his decision, then leans forward in his chair closer to Alejandro.

Way of Kings Inn to the Ambush Site - Geoffroi de Clairvaux
Brice replies, "We have the weapons stored off-site, we will retrieve them and then head to the ambush site".
You exit the Inn with Brice and Wilhelm, it seems that Volkov has been at the since the morning. As you exit you see across the square a slow build up of the Doge's forces. To the untrained eye, they appear to be simply drilling but you know better. A confrontation is brewing.
Baldemar leans into you, "We would be wise to avoid this area the next few days".
Your small warband retrieves all stashed weapons, your own and the crossbows which will be used later this evening. The walk across the city is long and the wind is picking up. Out to sea a storm is brewing, the wind whips and erratic intervals, with a force that would well throw off even the force of a quarrel from a crossbow.
Nevertheless the group arrives at the western edge of the city. Farther west you see a patch of sand, known to locals as the Lido where sunbathing takes place though that stretch of beach is empty now. At sea you see ships some coming, some going. More ships than normal though and not all Venetian. Perhaps Her enemies have begun to act against Her due to the Doge's excommunication? The wind whips up the sea and you can hear the water crashing against the seawall from here. The air smells cleaner here than in the interior of the city.
The area of the ambush is well suited to such an activity. The three buildings stand out to you, each is three stories high with visibility on the "Courtyard" below. The buildings appear to be older warehouses which do not see as much use with the docks to the south more prominent. Most residences are on the other side of the largest of the three buildings so there should be no outside interference from locals, unless they happen to be taking a late night stroll.
One of the smaller canals ends between two of the three buildings and has a small set up stairs so that passengers can disembark. This is likely where the fiend will be led into the crossfire.
The other two "outer" buildings face the sea and the lagoon respectively. Even if the creature attempts to flee to the ocean, the roofs of the buildings appear flat enough to move around and take shots at anyone fleeing.
You finally see Volkov between the two outer buildings. His ability to hide is fairly remarkable. He wears no cloak but has a light set of mail with a bandolier of stakes wrapped across his chest. A sword at his hip and one strapped to his back. His face has a look of grim determination.
He approaches the four of you, "I've a number of quarrels on each roof already. The tips are all wooden to be used to fire at the villain, or villains if he brings a friend.
Once the creature arrives, I will approach him slowly, he will no doubt come towards me. In the middle of this area, all three positions can rain down quarrels upon him. Once we have secured his body, I have prepared a place within one of the buildings that we can secure him and question him at length.
Long have I awaited this day..."

A Private Villa - the Lido – Franz Albert
Looking at the weather outside, Franz has mixed feelings. On one hand, the downpour seemed really bad - on the other hand, it would serve to keep the rioters and other rabble indoors.
For a moment, he contemplated simply letting his manservant deliver the documents tomorrow, when he would pick up the choosen girls. But it was not far out of the way towards Elysium, so for something as important as this, it would make sense to deliver the document personally. Otherwise, the leader of the orphanage might get ideas, such as accompanying the young ladies tomorrow and wanting to speak with his wealthy patron during the day.
No, it would need to be done tonight - and then on to Elysium.
He wraps the papers in rain proof leathers, and hides them under his cloak, then heads outside.
Drop the documentation off, THEN head to Elysium. If we are about to start Elysium, I'll simply invite the Orphanages leader to visit tomorrow evening for a cup of wine, and to check on the girls after they settled in. That is, have the scene tomorrow night and skip to Elysium now.

Lord Benne turns to the Salubri, "Have either of you been able to determine who the villain was that assailed you the other night or ho sent him? Perhaps this is the same villain that had something to do with the disappearance of Simon?"
Brian shakes his head in the negative, "Andrew slew that fleshcrafter with his sword. We were not able to question him and Vykos has denied any involvement. Though his lack of presence at these meetings leads me to wonder if he was being truthful.
But then, what reason would Vykos or the Tzimisce have to slay me, my Childe, or Simon for that matter? My Clan has never been on poor terms with the Tzimisce that I have ever heard of".
--
Bajazet approaches Petradon, "The reach of this organization appears to be supported, mainly, by western Cainites. Have you had much traffic with your Clansmen from the east? Will they be as resistant to this idea as I believe the rest of my Clan shall be?"
Petradon responds, "Clan Nosferatu is generally supportive of any mass initiative as such initiatives benefit more than burden us. Our concern is and always has been the Silence of the Blood as our younger members have the most difficult time hunting among all Cainites for obvious reasons.
What you truly ask is whether the Religious divisions will keep the more fanatic of our members from accepting what is a "western" proposition led by "Christian" Cainites no?"

He appears to have lost control of the body he was possessing and Xing killed it. Whether he comes here to investigate I do no know.
The Man with No Name withdrew some weeks ago, to where I am not certain. He and the Masquerader though captured and may well have slain a Lasombra, Kratos. He found evidence of the truth of Tiamat's assertions. These papers, which fell into the possession of a Ghoul, a Ghoul gifted by the Tzimisce Vykos to our Sire. We retrieved the papers from the Ghoul in exchange for certain favors.
However, that Ghoul has vanished.
I was instructed too destroy these documents but I have not done so yet..."
He pauses to ponder your further questions.
"Her motivation a century or so ago was to discover whether these memories of hers were real or just a legend. Her minions and her Childe resurfacing leads me to believe that either they verified the story or wish to spread the story for their own personal gain.
I agree, perhaps that is why she is here, to do what she can to stop the Camarilla from being formed. How she is going to accomplish that by making Kratos disappear and destroying these documents I do not know. Perhaps she has yet another ally here in the city?
No, I have considered discussing the matter with Narses but until the Conclave is officially over, I do not believe that he will be able to put much energy into assisting me".
Alejandro leans in, "The bond between he and I has frayed as it has not been renewed since before I left for Jerusalem. My compulsion to serve him is much weaker than it was...
I understand that the Tzimisce have ways to weaken the blood further but the veracity of that tale is as clear as the truth of these Tiamat myths.
You need not tell him all, the bond can be manipulated, you can hint at some things and misdirect on others provided you do not attempt to lie to him directly".

I am loathe to part, my Love... for are we not the only two we can trust? We do not know the intricacies, nor the ripples surrounding this ruse.
If I am to face final death, there is one thing I wish to know... what became of Raoul Snake-Eyes? Talisman hinted, but I did not wish to persue the topic.
Boldly, Alessandro kisses his sire's lips in the dark and downpour. Pulling back, he awaits the admonishment due.

Outside Elysium - Ranerius, Lorenzo, Vitaliano and Onfroi
The rain patters on Ranerius' head as he rushes from the front door to the pavilion of darkness.
Helene smiles serenely, "Of course Neonate. I must champion the cause of any of my Clan who would be so visionary as to create great beauty and provide stability for our kind among the Mortals".
At that smile, he inclines his head to her. He doubts it is as simple as she says, and he knows that she might have reason to see it fail depending on how petty she might feel, "May we all achieve that goal and more."
Lord Andrew nods, "How c'n I be o' service ta' this meetin' o' tha' mind o' the Camarilla Ranerius?" His Sire Brian looks on but remains silent interested in what Ranerius has to say.
I must tread carefully, if I recall the Salubri are among the most devout of Clans. I would not offend.
"The people of Venice feel without hope, and those without hope often grow desperate- I hope to restore that hope by inspiring them. I will do this by means of new songs that speak of mercy and forgiveness, and by the creation of archectiture that honors the holy." He says with sincere hope of his own, "make tangible a fraction of the great intangible. I do not know best how your clan might feel they can help, but given the lore and wisdom of your clan, I can imagine the avenues to such are myriad."

The Blue Mongoose – Savio

"No, I do not believe she is near. I believe she is still in the East. Her Eldest Childe is here, or was here in the form of a Masquerader.
I understand that the Tzimisce have ways to weaken the blood further but the veracity of that tale is as clear as the...
Savio regards his Brother, then makes his decision.
Alejandro obviously knows more than I. My trust must be earned, but action is preferable to endless pondering.
"I am at your disposal Brother."
