here are the different items for this AP:

Pathfinder Beta (yes, that menas, Design Focus articles and the additional feats apply)
(anything else needs to be run through me)

20 points point buy

max. Gold

1 general trait from Second Darkness book
1 trait from the Trait list in my Sig
1 regional feat from Dragon 315 and 319, depending on backstory
1 bonus skill point per level for Craft/Profession or Cross-Class-Skills
racial hit points for 1st level.

We have:

Kayos - sorceress
Seeker - female paladin of Heironeous
Sothal - defender (from Midnight)
Nightowl (from my RL group)
and a fifth member (memento_mori)

roles to be filled...
divine magic(healing)
trapfinding

5-6 is the optimum number.

Olli I think I would be interested in this if you are taking a sixth member. But given that you and seeker are both involved here I have an idea that there may be a massive flurry of posting going on while I am not available. Would I be the odd man out timing-wise?

I dont think so man, as I run a game with him and sothal both, unless everyone is one at once it doent get like that. There may be a bit of RP but ya cant really run off and leave folks if ya know what i mean.

One of the players from my group is going for Team Cleric. The other expressed to go for rogue, but perhaps something other, as he is available from Monday on (he will start on a weekend trip to the "Chess Olympics" tomorrow morning).

Sorry for coming in late, well, some of you know the reason. (We lost. somewhat. No total loss, but a loss nonetheless. Ask me in the chat for details, when I am online, if you whish.)

(For those not knowing the class: Its a Class from the Midnight Campaign Setting by Fantasy Flight Games, basically a non-magical Monk. Different favour and all.)

Starting gold: Defender states 1d4x10vp (value points). Shall I go with Monk starting gold, or search for the info how much a vp is in gp?

Olli- I'm in the background working on this char between other things. In the end I decided to go back to the MT idea and give it a try. So my sheet is only bare bones mechanics now, but I should be able to finish up the rest very soon.

I've added my character sheet to my new character.
Only the background story is missing, but I already have the plot, so that I only have to write it down.

Wow, two clerics. Okay, that means I don't need to use any gloves.

Hi all,

I will try to post an introduction into the Shackled City Adventure Path till tomorrow.

From there we will have "spoilered" threads for every character, until the group forms up. If some characters are lagging behind too much, I'd like to have a small session in the chatroom (i.e. chat.dmtools.org) and transcribe the protocol to the thread. I will also post some more info about Cauldron and the important personalities in the town in the discussion thread or spoilered in my DM profile.

Just for a quick teaser:

Here is another picture of Cauldron.

This view illustrates the beauty of the town perfectly, but also the problems of its design become apparent, i.e. space in the town is severely limited and the sewers lead directly into the crater lake, causing a persistent stink in the lower avenues (guess why the nobles' mansions are all in the high parts of the town).

Cool picture, I havn't seen it before!

Can you please post a quick overview about the players like:
player, character name, race, class

Or do you want to introduce all characters induvidually?
Then it would be helpful to have the information

I had to seriously cut down on internet time in the last days and will have to do the same in the comming weeks.

I don't know how long it really will last that way, so I think I have to at least have my character DM-PCed or droped out.

Holidays are coming, after which the company moves, and I get a new position, but probably the same work, only more of it.

I will notice you as soon as I get back to having time to play.

I am sure it will take us some time to get to a point where you can't join up quickly. If you are able to spend more time on these boards again (and in the chat room), we will do a quick session in a query and post the trnascription here.

Sounds right on. I may start slow, but in the first week after the new year I should return to a normal schedule with free time. But in the scope of pbp time that is nothing so I wasn't too worried about it.

For now though- 6-7 days a week all this month, 9ish hours a day. It's pretty well sucking and leaving me tired.
