"Well, I'm quite all right, retreat if you must, but I agree that we should press on." replies Golthwur. "Once again, you owe very your lives to well-applied use of magic."
The elderly wizard pauses for accolades or, at least, acknowledgment of his superiority, despite his negligible contributions to the battle. Realizing that none are forthcoming, he continues to prattle on. "I, of course, also know glitterdust. It just so happens that I hadn't prepared it this day. It is a simple spell really. Anyone with even a modicum of talent can prepare it."
Well done, Pathfinders.

Whilst you get patched up, you notice a satchel on the 'person' of the faceless stalker. The satchel contains two potion vials.

The remainder of the infernal healing should bring Gronkh to 21 dmg and Horace to 6 dmg; then Byron's wand heals Gronkh another 5 to 16 dmg.
Groggy from everything that has transpired, Gronkh gratefully drinks the proffered potion.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Gronkh has 8 dmg
Gronkh has a CLW wand of his own with plenty of charges remaining, though he can't activate it. I can't remember who has already locked it though. Gronkh had also taken a potion of CMW that we found earlier, but I believe that someone used it during that fight. What other healing resources do we have remaining? If the wand of infernal healing doesn't require UMD, perhaps we should just use that to get everyone back to full? Gronkh is currently at 8 dmg and Horace is at 6 dmg.

Angela pulls out an infusion and tosses it to Gronkh. "Here. You should drink this and make sure you feel fully recovered before we move on." She grasps the Wayfinder hanging from her longspear and activates it, scanning the area for magic signatures.

I'm ready, if it's confirmed that we really have no more healing available. Horace only has half his hp, so one hit is going to drop him. And Gronkh would prefer to be full up as well, if possible. If no one else can UMD Gronkh's wand, is it possible to use two more charges from the Wand of Infernal Healing? We've come dangerously close to a TPK at least a couple of times now - I see no reason to be cavalier about it (pun intended).

OK, to the finale!
As the infernal wand does its work, you follow the droning sound towards the centre of the corn maze. Though the sky to the south is growing lighter as dawn approaches, above you it seems to be getting darker....
You move as quickly as you can, and in less than a minute you reach a central clearing. The ground is stripped down to bare earth and soil is heaped in a ring around the glade’s perimeter. Two lit bonfires stand at the northern and southern sides of the glade, while an enormous, twisted mass of roots topped by thick slabs of timber sits at the glade’s centre. A young woman is tied down to the slabs of timber, though she seems docile. She looks familiar - Masha, one of the contestants for the title of Queen of the Feast. Standing over her is Mayor Kreigler. He wears a dirty while robe and carries a spear. Around his neck is a silver talisman in the shape of a moth. He is surrounded by a cloud of droning mosquitoes. Around the circumference of the glade stand a score of so of humans (many of whom you recognise as villagers) draped in diaphanous robes, holding sickles at their sides. They drone along with the mosquitoes, as if in a trance.
Mayor Andretti turns to you. "Ah, the outsiders. You murdered our sacrifice! When we did nothing but show you hospitality and friendship! But the Gossamer King will forgive you, if you lay down your arms and worship Him now."
For the sake of keeping the map tidy I have left the droning cultists off - I will add them if needed.

Gronkh directs Horace through the opening (with Horace's Narrow Frame feat it doesn't look like this should be a problem even with the additional movement cost for squeezing). and stabs at the Mayor with his lance while answering, "Lay down our arms? It's you who will be laying down - forever!"

Putting Byron in delay.
Gronkh's attack snaps many of the droning cultists out of their trance. But instead of retaliating, they cry out to the darkening sky: "Dream Tender! Hear our prayers! Deliver us in our hour of need!" Those cultists nearest to Gronkh instead address him: "Join us! Cast down your arms and armour and accept our King's embrace!" And those of you close to the clearing now notice that the cultists, and Masha the putative sacrifice, are not wearing robes at all; they are naked but for the thousands of mosquitos that crawl all over their bodies, giving the appearance of a shifting gown.
The mayor, who neatly side-stepped Gronkh's lance, shakes his head as he backs away. "Fools! You do not understand! Only blood can contain this land's corruption. The Gossamer King is our salvation!" He gestures, and casts a spell.

Byron and Golthwur come forwards and work their magics. Byron's is not yet complete, but Golthwur braves wet fungus and a blanket of mosquitoes to flash kaleidoscopic colours in mayor Kriegler's face.

The mayor is stunned, dropping his spear on the ground! A couple of cultists in the ring around the glade also drop to the floor.
Jeskit clatters the mayor with his staff.
Angela attempts to render aid with her own spear, but is unable to overcome the mayor's ward and hesitates. It's a grey area, but since you are making an attack roll I think Sanctuary works.
Gronkh presses forwards atop Horace, and this time his lance stabs the mayor! The token above Jeskit on the map is the bound sacrifice, Masha. She is tied down to a rudimentary altar, about 3 feet tall and occupying the 5 foot square. It does not provide cover against Gronkh.
Mayor Kriegler slowly comes to his senses... stun expires just before Golthwur's initiative

Angela blinks in surprise for a moment as she pushes her spear forward to try helping Jeskit and instead seems to hit some mental block. I can recognize the spell but not do a thing to handle being affected by it... Sometimes I wish I could cast dispel magic, though I will never ever tell Foolthwur.
She stands still for a moment's pause and the scrambles back so that she doesn't get squished by and expanding Jeskit. After a second she decides to wait and see if she can't help play defensively.
Aid another to AC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Hopefully this isn't an attack roll?
| GM supervillan |
Aid Another and Sanctuary: I'm going to reverse my previous ruling, Angela. Re-reading Sanctuary, I see that it prevents direct attacks. I don't think I can consider Aid Another to be a direct attack. Nothing much changes - last round's attack roll missed AC10 - but you can re-do your readied action for this round if you like.

Byron winces seeing the flames spread to Jeskit.
| GM supervillan |
I assume from Byron's post that his only action is completing his Enlarge spell.
Byron's magic causes Jeskit to double in size. The massive nagaji kicks over the cultists' bonfire as he grows, but the flames lick at him and his cloaks catch fire!
fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Nonetheless, the enlarged warrior delivers a savage blow to Mayor Kriegler! Your attack bonus should be 2 less by my reckoning, Jeskit, but AC19 still hits.
Golthwur flings his dagger using his magical powers, but the press of the melee makes it too difficult a shot
Angela finds the hulking nagaji in the way of her helpful spear.
Gronkh is distracted by the predicament of the would-be sacrifice, and his lance sticks into the ground.
"NO! The ritual must be completed, or Ravenmoor will starve! Don't you see? The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few!" The mayor rants at you, and attempts to concentrate on a new spell.

With a great effort, Mayor Kriegler completes his spell and transforms into a cloud-like, translucent version of himself. He drifts away, passing through the corn as if it wasn't there.

Or could Gronkh follow by going through the fire (bearing in mind that Horace has Narrow Frame which allows squeezing into 2 5' squares)? Not wanting to trample poor Masha, Gronkh directs unfortunate Horace to walk through the fire, which he can only do by squeezing.
