Feel free to hang out and discuss things here, but refrain from posting in Gameplay until we kick off!
Haze the Futile

Happy to be chosen! I'm getting a few details finished on the character sheet, but this is mostly done.
Kuukuruu
|
Kuukuruu checking in on discussion. Like I said earlier, nothing too exciting yet. He will just try and shoot until the enemy goes down.
Sadaf Kargar
|
Sadaf is a normal Druid with social and business aptitude. :-)
Sadaf is a young Dwarf from a Kelish merchant family that always felt the pull of the wilderness and saurian animals. He embraces the lessons of the wild dinosaurs as these archaic animals have watched over this world since the beginning of time.
He is a stoic negotiator but has an empathic approach. He is very perceptive and understands people's motives which is very important as a merchant.
He typically walks around in his non-metal armor and during battle usually tries not to attack but use spells and his animal companion ‘Danduun’ instead.
Sadaf's family has deep roots in the Exchange faction of the Pathfinder Society.
Thus, the Kargar brothers Almaas, Jangafzaar, Toral and Sadaf are all also a members of the Pathfinder Society.
Boomer Forgehammer
|
Boomer is an an ifrit grenadier alchemist with a passion for destruction. His passion carries over to his work where prepares explosives for demolition. And if the bombs weren't enough, his weapon of choice is a giant earth breaker. His career as a Pathfinder is relatively new and he hopes to discover new places, meet new orobator and break many things along the way.
Seldiir Elberion
|
Good to be in.
Seldiir is a Sable Company Marine whose connected and protective mother got him a 'safe' posting as attache to the Pathfinder Society.
He is very glad that she does not know how much danger Pathfinding involves.
He has just been given the reins of his first ever hippogriff mount and is excited to take him out on an adventure.
In combat, Seldiir mostly hits things as hard as he can with a greatsword. If things are too far away for that then he has some skill with a bow as well.
| GM Choptop |
Welcome aboard everyone! Once Gameday starts we'll kick off, for now we'll just sit tight. Glad to have you all here.
| GM Ietsuna |
Hello all. I will be stepping in to fill in the GM slot for now. I am prepping the scenario right now so that we can hit the ground running. If any of you have concerns etc. please let myself or the VC team know.
Boomer Forgehammer
|
Thanks for stepping in. Looking forward to playing!
| GM Ietsuna |
Ok all. I am going to throw this out now so that we don't have to deal with it later. Early in this scenario there is a long travel section, approximately 10-14 days. To save time and posts I am proposing that we establish a standard procedure for how you want to camp. Are you sleeping in tents or on bedrolls or some other arrangements? Do you establish watches, if so what order etc?
Boomer Forgehammer
|
Boomer is currently woefully underprepared for such travel. However, he had the funds to remedy that. So, I'm good with however others want to spend that time. He would also partake in watches and likely insist on them. Although, Perception is not a specialty or even a hobby of his. Probably best to keep that in mind.
Haze the Futile
|
I'd certainly want to set a watch, and I don't mind taking one of the late-night watches.
Sadaf Kargar
|
Watch in alphabetical order is simple:-)

Watch in alphabetical order is simple:-)
Works for me.
My old IRL group used to have a protocol of the darkest watches being taken by those with dark vision, then low-light vision, then those poor humans at dawn and dusk.
As everyone else seems to have dark vision, and Seldiir does not need an hour to prepare spells or anything in the morning, it would make sense for him to have the dawn watch.
Seldiir Elberion
|
My AC had dark vision as well.
If we are happy with 12 hours of camping instead of ten then we could take paired watches?
I will need to buy a tent, unless the weather is good. Do we know the conditions? Seldiir has a bedroll and blanket.
| GM Ietsuna |
The adventure takes place in the Mwangi Expanse. Weather there can be... unpredictable.
Haze the Futile
|
I'll pick up a tent as well, then. I have a bedroll.
Boomer Forgehammer
|
I'll pick up gear when we start: tent, bedroll, etc.
Kuukuruu
|
I will work on a to buy list on my next day off. Night time would work, have both darkvision and a decent perception for a level 1, IMO.
| GM Ietsuna |
It is not a huge deal. You will be on the road for a few days. I am planning on fast forwarding as much as I can. Just trying to streamline where we can.
| GM Ietsuna |
Quick roll call before we kick off n a couple days.
Kuukuruu
|
GM..since this will most likely come up. Kuukuruu gets a +1 initiative bonus in jungle terrain. And a forethought, he likes to climb tress, but with a climb speed he should be just fine.
Seldiir Elberion
|
Aah, I didn't realise.
Noral, Sadaf's player, had a lot of GM and PC play on the boards and dropped off with a post in Flaxseed a few weeks ago.
It affected the game I am GMing and, so far, three games I am playing in.
We are probably early enough in to recruit a replacement. Or we can push through.
Ietsuna?
| GM Ietsuna |
Four players is a legal table and I can run with the 4 player adjustment, however let me advertise. We have room and there may be players out there.
Arileth PFS
|
I can offer a Calistrian cleric, or an elven diviner, depending on which you'd be prefer. The cleric is lvl 1; the diviner is lvl 2.
| GM Ietsuna |
We have a cleric, a rogue, an alchemist and 2 rangers so either should be fine.
Boomer Forgehammer
|
I somehow posted under the wrong alias. Can you remove Garland?
| GM Ietsuna |
Hi. Gameday ends this week and in order to get boons etc we need to report ASAP. Can everyone give me their PFS detail please?
On a related note boon rolls below. Good luck all.

Haze: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Sadaf: 1d20 ⇒ 10
