Gameday VIII: GM Kate's Acts of Association (Inactive)

Hey! This will be a game of the SFS repeatable scenario Acts of Association! Please post here if you are interested in playing.

Interested! Would likely be running an Android Exo Mechanic, or an Envoy, depending!

Terrific! I should mention that I will select from everyone who is interested on July 15th, so definitely don't use your one early GM signup on this game!

Oh hey, HMM clarified that games using a non-first come first served method of player selection do not count against early bird signup limits. So go ahead and post!

Would like to try a technomancer, so could start one up here, not sure what race yet ...

Awesome! I will make selections on July 15th. I am not sure what method I'll use, and it depends on how many interested parties I have.

It would help to know what level PC people intend to play. This one is a 1-4. If you have a PC in each subtier, that is helpful to know too!

Interest officially expressed! I'd be in for Subtier 1–2, but can back out if you get enough 3–4 interest.

Definitely interested! I have the following characters available:

-a third level Skittermander operative (detective). He will find you, and he will help you! And, if you're a bad guy, helping you will likely involve bringing you in to face justice. It's for your own good!

-a second level half-elf soldier/starfinder forerunner. A survivor of the Scoured Stars incident, he specializes (as much as he can) in exploring the unknown.

-a first level -literally anything-. I've been meaning to make a ghibrani, stellifera, or maybe embri.

There is a non-zero chance that I'll set up two tables if there is enough interest, so don't feel obligated to back out!

I have a level 1 Solarian that I would be interested in bringing. He is a diplomat himself so it would be right up his alley.

Gamuzali is a level 2 Solarian. He's the one I'd be most interested in playing through this scenario with, but if it would benefit the party mix more, I also have a level 2 dragonkin technomancer that's itching to get some action!

CaptainBacon here, I think I'm gonna stick with an Envoy, so feel free to play a Mechanic!

For the record, this is the character in question. Currently playing Into The Unknown, though it's set to end before Gameday (if not I'll just roll up something else)

I could set up a new character (I have two new race boons to try) or maybe bring my level 3 human operative, Kai Starchaser.

I am just now realising that this is a gameday campaign and have signed up my character for another campaign already, so I will kindly withdraw before Kate makes any choices. Have fun everyone!

Everyone else, gameplay begins August 26th! I'll ask people in mid-August to finalize character choices. I'll also ask people who have played this before to let me know (in spoilers, please!) which diplomat you accompanied and which tasks you did, so I can hopefully give everyone a new experience. You can do that now if you want to, but I assume some people will play this between now and Gameday, so no hurry!

Hey everyone!

First things first, I hope you're doing well and I can't wait to play this scenario with you all!

Playing a few SFS scenarios, I realized I much prefer playing one of my characters, an Android Technomancer, rather than the Envoy I submitted earlier. But as I suspect this scenario will require a good amount of diplomacy, I wanna make sure that role is gonna be filled.

So, if anyone wants to play an Envoy (or else a diplomatic character), that's awesome and I'll switch to my Technomancer. If not, I'll still be happy to play Zahvos! Let me know!

Gamuzali technically has a bonus to Diplomacy (+6), but he's not exactly a charmer. Still, I'd say play whatever you'd like! We can make it work!

Solarian with a +8 on Diplomacy. Focuses on negotiations more than charming but can do alright.

I'll be bringing Orrian Balnelis, a half-elf starfinder forerunner/soldier (2nd level) who's just starting to get back into adventuring after being trapped in the Scoured Stars. Though his skills are a little limited, he's best at acrobatics, perception, profession (herbalist), and survival, with a little culture and life science mixed in.
