Messaged the other players to get started. One is still at PaizoCon, so he may be joining us either later tonight or tomorrow.

Archer is ready to go.
Note: his tag line assumes ant haul is running.

I will need to level Gordy up to level 5, as he's gotten a little wiser since his last adventure.
So we have worshippers of Rovagug and Groetus with, huh? And least there's a warpriest of Erastril around to keep things from getting too out of hand.

I wish there was a way to make my kinetic blasts non-lethal...I do still have unlimited uses of grease though. I could see that coming in handy.
Malsuza

Oof. Hoping the best for you man!
Malsuza

...did I just use a /me tag to open up a post? Sheesh.
Malsuza

Hey for what it's worth I think Malsuza went into this fight at full HP. I remember a Cure Wand Cuddle Puddle after the last one.

I also should be at full hp.
I figured with two warpriests and a cleric, one of them would be willing to use my wand on me.

We did also find a hat of disguise. Somebody unstealthy could probably use that to get close. The more people that could act in a surprise round, the better. I have a feeling this could be a tough fight without taking advantage of doing some preparation.

The chronicle looks good. Great first part! Kyle, are we going to continue playing in this thread?
Also, I realized I've been shorting myself on my damage. I should have been doing an extra 1d6+1 damage. I have everything adjusted and with Elemental Overflow at this level, his damage and accuracy are both way up. I also forgot that I could have been empowering some of blasts.
On top of that, Cap'n Klacken McKraken has done grown up. Being a water elemental and all, he ain't too good on land, but don't let him catch you swimming.
Mark my words, Ol' Gordy is going to kick some serious Darkland behinds in this next adventure.

Kyle, are we going to continue playing in this thread?
The plan is to continue on this thread. I will take a bit to get started up just cause I need to prep a few things for SkalCon and I am running a few things for GameDay.

Yay Skalcon! I'm assuming we'll probably slow down for this weekend, as most of us will be pretty busy with that.
GM Worg
|
Pretty much. I plan on trying to post in each game I got at least once per day of Skalcon, but otherwise mostly convention time.
Malsuza
|
I mean most of us will be there so whatev.
Also due to logistical issues I wasn't able to get the chronicle. Mal's leveled up but I couldn't buy anything. We're goin' in pauper style!

Honestly, I'm used to not tracking rations but it would make sense for Gordy to have stocked up on some food before going into the Darklands.
Since elementals happen to have a belt slot, I think I'll get the Cap'n a belt pouch so he can carry my food around.
One good thing is that with Gordy around, no one has to worry about running out of fresh water at least.
Would I also need food for the Cap'n? I have no idea what, if anything a water elemental would actually eat.
GM Worg

Throw him in the pool and he can probably catch a fish or two. I don't believe elementals need to eat since they are immune to criticals and precision damage therefore don't have vital organs.

craft bows: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Reroll: 1d20 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 5 = 26

Gordy will see what work an old salt beard can find among these landlubbers.
Take 10 on Profession (Sailor) for a result of 20

Wow...
Level 8 for me was a bit less exciting than hoped for. ;)
Oh, well.
Since we are in is deep gnome town, I assume purchases are limited severely?
Gordy Grimes

That's just enough money to buy a level 2 wand, but I can't think of anything I want to have and I couldn't use it if I did. Probably just going to hold on to that extra money. Not sure what I'm going to get with my level 7 feat. Something boring like Iron Will or Improved Initiative, or picking up another Kineticist power? Choices, choices, choices.
