With the librarians defeated you are able to search this room in safety.

In the lower central section a bundle of notes sits open on the floor. A cursory examination of these notes shows that Hao Jin was researching a variety of locations, including known sites across Golarion, several cities throughout the Inner Planes, and unrecognizable numerous desinations. However, her extensive itinerary culminates in a major visit to Axis, the Outer Plane of absolute law.

On a table in the corner you find a ring and an amulet.

This is the Planar Cosmology section of the library, and you can search if for useful books. Appropriate skills are: Knowledge (planes), Spellcraft, or Appraise.

In addition, you find that the mirror frame in the 'northeast' corner of the room is similar to the device that transported you here. Its fragments lie at the end of the rows of bookshelves: you emerged from them. You can place these fragments back in the frame.

You grab some interesting looking books whilst Dresden fixes the mirror. When he has done so, it shows the image of the main library, as if you were looking out of the mirror that you fixed there; you can use this mirror to return to the archive.

Dresden is not able to determine the properties of the ring nor amulet, but you can take the items with you.

At this juncture, your friendly GM would like to remind you that you have a Bag of Holding that will allow up to 4 re-rolls of search skill checks, and that you have enough carrying capacity between you for up to 2 more re-rolls; the first of these would have no impact on your speed or encumbrance, the second would require that you all go to Heavy Encumbrance. Just my 2 cents, but I'd say let Deldri reroll in the Planar Cosmology section as that appears to be our weakest rolls overall and he has the best mod (Knowledge Planes)...
