Man my head is out of the game. So you all have this benefit. I will include it into the slides.

BLESSING OF VILDEIS

As Ivvora did so long ago, the PCs have the blessing of Vildeis, the empyreal lord of devotion, sacrifice, and scars. Each PC begins Part 6 with one blessing that she can expend in order to perform one of the feats below. When the Overseer GM announces the Empyreal Approval condition, each PC gains an additional blessing.

Burning Radiance
As an immediate action when dealing damage to an evil creature, the PC can cause her attack to ignore that target’s damage reduction and deal an additional amount of damage equal to 1d6 plus twice the character’s level.

Healing Sacrifice
As a standard action, a PC can touch another creature to heal it. This functions either as breath of life or as restoration (CL 15th). The temporary negative level from this blessing’s breath of life effect lasts only until the end of the next encounter and is ignored for the purpose of determining whether a PC would die from having too many negative levels. This ability can be used offensively against creatures vulnerable to positive energy, but its damage does not exceed 4 × the character’s level.

Unstoppable Wrath
As a swift action, the PC can choose one of the following undead immunities: bleed, death effects, mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, or stunning. For the duration of that encounter, the PC’s abilities, equipment, and spells ignore that immunity for undead creatures. Additionally, the PC ignores the impeded magic property of the Negative Energy Plane during that encounter.

I'll definitely use Healing Sacrifice on Silvermane, but I'll wait after the final battle to do so in case the horse gets drained some more, since Restoration dispels all temporary negative levels.

Didn't want to ruin the game thread...

Overall, this speed of killing is unlike I have ever seen, not really complaining as is, but it is crazy... Can see some chars got really worked on to be in the field of good, borderline OP.

However, can see Chaine being in trouble the moment he is unable to charge, it negates his build by alot.

As said, not complaining, just noticing it. Might be cause when I was playing in the Netherlands never had this kind of brutality... not even my semi twinked Aasimar, Oath of Vengeance paladin could put out that kind of damage unless he critted while smiting.

I've been in really bad spots when Silvermane was taken from me, or like you said, when you just can't charge. Solstice Scar is one of the best scenarios for mounted characters, one of the reasons I've played A through D with Chaine... for most PFS scenarios, this mounted build really sucks.

The powercreep and general levels of min/maxing in PFS are a big part of why I don't do the convention circuit anymore.

I just can't justify spending hundreds of dollars and a three day weekend to sit down for scenarios where I don't get to play because someone is constantly one-shotting the encounters. I can tell you some ridiculous horror stories from Paizocon.

Liberty's Edge

The Slithering Maps

Its exhausting as a Convention GM when your players know how to break the game.

Thankfully, I got a few memorable tables where the game-breaking was not too bad. The players had fun with my random quirks and antics at Gen-Con for both Multi-Table specials.

Overall I can see why ppl don't like going to conventions due to the Min/Max'ing. I am not much of a Con-goer myself (something to do with where I live). I do go to enjoy some games, make friends and hook up with old friends. Paizocon and GenCon are still on my to-do list but not that high up I am sacrificing my sanity and free time for now :D And yeah, if I show up at either on of those, and the 1-shot encounters happen, I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be happy and ask said player to tone it down.. spending a few 1000 on a trip like that and have tables ruined isn't in my book of fun.

Some food for thought, and to see if it is possible...

Would Consecrate work on a shield of a Holy Vindicator?

I'm still trying to decide what to do. This is a setup where I really could benefit from a few buff before rushing in, but with everyone else rushing in, I'm likely to not get there before the fight is over. Because I have to use a move action to draw most of my scrolls, I can't move and cast in the same round.

Once we get to the main fight I can pull a few tricks and get you into the fight in the blink of an eye, but would need to know in advance so I won't charge in first...

I'll be fair this morning when I saw what was going... I had 15 prestige ready to be scrapped for a rez...

I then took a step back and went over things
- the reroll for the Protection, that saved my skin, that put me down to 116, would still take me down, but I would be alive.
- I then noted Martyr's Bargain and was like, my oh shit button! 68hp saved!
- Then the cure serious, not failing my concentration check was like... yup, I live to find another day!

It doesn't seem like 104 damage would have killed Grimaldus outright, so I don't think any retconning is necessary, but I see some mistakes with that Eshimka fight.

1. Martyr's Bargain only delays the damage from spells and SLAs, it doesn't work on physical attacks.

2. An 18 would not have successfully cast CSW defensively as the DC is 15 plus double spell level which would be a DC 21.

They hadn't clicked in the heat of the moment so I didn't bring it up then.
