There are holes in the grate which water passes freely through. The water is 5ft deep but darker than one would expect for the depth.

Sevrus find the doors to be safe and open the door to the left.
Stone counters line the walls of this chamber. An additional work slab sits in the center of the room—all of these countertops are cluttered with beakers, jars, tubes, tools, and all manner of ancient alchemical equipment, many of them caked with strange encrustations of crystals, stains, or other residues. A particularly large urn of corroded-looking metal sits in the center of the westernmost countertop.

Von-Dai looks over the room, scanning for magical auras, as he says, "This appears to be some kind of alchemical laboratory. I suspect it hasn't been used in some time, but there may yet be volatile chemicals."

There are seven containers of magical fluids and powders in the room, of which three are dangerously unstable. Each of the three unstable containers can be identified as dangerous with a successful Craft (alchemy) Spellcraft. There is also a potion of displacement, an elixir of love, 1 dose of stone salve, and an urn containing 10 doses of wax of defiance.

Zeltyieli you find two urns that are particularly unusual. Von, you believe they are designed to hold a creature based on their shaoe it must me a slime or ooze. Should anything explode like those 'unstable containers' you are looking the oozes would be released.

Zelytieli reports to the others what he's found, then muses, "I wonder if we could turn those against our opponents? I'd have to think the sudden appearance of an ooze would be quite the distraction.... Of course, I'm not sure that we could transport them safely."
He chuckles, "Too bad we can't ask them to come back here."

Having weighed the pros and cons of transporting oozes the group decides on caution and move on the next room.
Six stone platforms draped with white sheets stand in this room, with manacles affixed to the four corners of each. What appears to be a metallic bookstand stands at the foot of each platform—one of these stands still holds a large leather tome. The walls are painted a soft, soothing blue.

It seems to be a preservation spell on the book itself. It is an ancient
Thassilonian text called Dreams and Desires that explores the mysterious link between dreams and enchantment magic. The book itself is magically preserved, and if used as an aid in any question involving dreams or enchantment magic, it grants a +2 circumstance bonuson Knowledge (arcana) checks.

The center of this domed chamber is dominated by a complex design painted on the floor in dozens of colors, which is oddly unsettling. Broken furniture and other debris is scattered across the room and a faint acidic odor tickles the nostrils, while an overturned bookstand with a large black tome sits near the far wall.
