Galandram Werynril |

Galandram continues to accept Sabrine's raging song. Stats: HP 11/11 AC 15 TAC 13 FF 11 F+2 R +6 W +3 CMB +2 CMD +15
Galandram continues to draw strength from Sabrine's song, fighting a mental battle to keep his fighting form despite the rage flowing through him.
Pressing his attack, he moves behind Cei, thrusting at the imp once again.
Attack, Inspired Rage: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 = 8Damage, rapier (P), Inspired Rage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
Cei will provide cover for the Imp, not that it really matters with rolls like that.

Sabrine Basri |

Sabrine will contiune her Raging Song Free Action and then step up next to Yngvilda to flank the imp Five foot step as a free action .
As she has a flash of guidance as she steps into the space she upper cut swings her sword with both hands at the imp. Using guidance on the attack roll
Attack + Rage + Flanking + Guidance: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 9
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Yikes, these rolls are not helping us in anyway.
+2 Morale Bonus to Str and Con
+1 Morale Bonus to Will
-1 AC
”Who’s still got the other dagger?!” Sabrine shouts at the party.

Cei |

Attack + Flanking + Raging Song: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 1 = 14
Damage+Raging Song: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 = 7
Cei yells, swinging his mace at the little creature, trying to stop it finally.

GM ShadowLord |

Desdemar calls out to Sabrine, "I have it! Do you want it?!"
Cei misses his attack as does Galandram while Seldon watches on trying to get a good angle or idea on how to assist.
Yngvilda's ends it however, her strike finally swatting the pest from the air amidst one of his "BARON SARVO WILLS IT!" rants. As the creature falls to the ground in the center of the party, they look down and see the creatures wounds closing and know it won't be long before it's conscious once more.

Galandram Werynril |

"Let me have that dagger, Desdemar," the elf says in an surprisingly cold tone, reaching out his long arms to accept the weapon from the inquisitor. He swiftly moves up to the creature and hesitates for only a second before delivering a coup de grâce (assuming no one in the party actively stops him).
Critical damage, mithral dagger (P): 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8 + DC 18 Fortitude save or permanently die
I don't know how many HP the imp had, or if it can pass its Fort save. Without getting grisly (multiple attacks etc), Galandram does not intend for this imp to live. If possible, let's just assume that he is able to put the unconscious devil out of its misery, and that he does so as swiftly as he can.
After the deed is done, Galandram seems a bit shaken. He drops the dagger from his now shaking hands, and carefully cleans his rapier before sheathing it at his side and going to sit on the far wall, looking down, slightly upset and apparently lost in contemplation.

Cei |

Cei sighs, grateful to have it over. "Baron Sarvo wills it," he whispers to himself as Galandram puts the creature out of its misery. Finally he looks up at the others noting the stings and bruises, "Well, I'd guess several of us need some healing now." He holds up the wooden symbol attached to his coat, "Shyka, reverse the effects of time." A burst of energy flows out of Cei reaching all his companions, yet somehow flows around where the imp lay.
Channel Energy (Selective Channel, exclude the imp): 1d6 ⇒ 2
Bleh. I'm ready to be done with bad rolls. At least that puts most of us (sorry Yngvilda) within one of max.

Sabrine Basri |

”Well screw Baron Salvo,” Sabrine curses the imp in between trying to catach her breath.
She beams a small smile at everyone,”That thing was not to be messed with. That was adequate work everyone,” an obvious attempt to compliment them but still recovering from the ordeal.
In between labored breathes Sabrine mange’s to get out, ’Why does it feel like Baron Salvo’s will is so cruel? That the second creature to use that phrase. Who was this man?”
Knowledge History: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
If she cant remember anything herself or if anyone else cant remember anything, she’ll start looking around the room to see if the imp left anything of value here.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

GM ShadowLord |

The investigator quickly puts an end to any chance of the imp returning to consciousness with a bold, swift stroke.
Galandram found the only thing of value in this room, the plaque that reads Confession Cleanses the Soul, Pain Clarifies the Mind." Other than the torture chairs with which Sabrine is already intimately familiar with, the only thing of interest in the secret passage that Cei had uncovered which seem to set off the pesky imp.
Once everyone has recovered, the group pushes forward into the secret passageway. As they enter, Desdemar holds up a finger. "Scout ahead, I'm going to make sure nothing else is following us. Shout if catch signs of trouble." I'm going to park Desdemar here until his player returns.
Making their way north, west and south the floor drops away here as the corridor turns east, though a seven-inch-wide ledge continues along the south wall. The walls are very smooth, offering few handholds. The remainder of the passageway is filled with a five-foot-deep trough filled with foul-smelling, thick green sludge.
Walking along the narrow ledge requires a successful acrobatics check to avoid sipping down. Climbing along the smooth walls is possible, but much more difficult. Alternatively, you could just trudge through the sludge too if you wish.

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

Yngvilda appears frustrated and angry, and very happy Galandram took care of the imp or she would have in his place. She checks carefully that it's dead before sighing with relief.
"That little ᛣᛄᛄᛓᛓ thing was ᛍᚽᛆ ᛡᚺᚳ ᚨᚠᚺᚧ ᚯ᛭ᛎ ᛇᛚᚾᛃ ᛐᛢ ᛌᛁᛡᚤ ᚲᚤ ᚯᛡᛑᛪᛔ!"
"Good work everyone. I've got a long way to go before I can wield an blade like my father, I see that now. She tries to brighten through force of personality, holds her shield up high again after it had been slouching.
"Thank you for the healing Cei, you do Shyka proud. You must tell us more of them when we next rest".
She nods at Sabrine and Galandram to acknowledge their contributions, and pats Eldon on the back after he lit the room up with electricty several times. After a deep breath she's ready to continue with there purpose here, and takes a look around herself.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10
If it will fit she'll take the plaque that was mentioned earlier off the wall and put it in her backpack, before finally and when everyone is finished looking around she'll stand by the door to the secret passage ready to continue exploring, handaxe once again drawn and dagger sheathed Did it come with a sheathe? at her belt.

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

"I do not like the look of that"
I don't like my chances of getting through that any way but swimming. She takes a spoon from her mess kit and scoops a bit of the sludge up with it and gives it a sniff. "Does anyone more learned in these things know if this is dangerous?" She offers the sample around for inspection.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4

Galandram Werynril |

As Galandram sits quietly in the room, he overhears Sabrine questioning who Baron Sarvo is, and tries to recall anything about the man. (Galandram never attempted the Knowledge (History) earlier that I think contained some info).
Knowledge (History), Inspiration: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (15) + 7 + (5) = 27
He quietly stands up, and follows the group down the hallway, after picking up the mithral dagger he had dropped earlier and offering it to Sabrine.
When Yngvilda offers the slime around the group for inspection, he quietly says, "Let me take a look," and then tries to see if he recognizes it from any of his studies.
Knowledge (Nature or Dungeoneering?), Inspiration: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (11) + 7 + (3) = 21
After relaying any information he has about the slime to Yngvilda, he attempts to cross the narrow ledge by keeping his balance, drawing on inner reserves of inspiration to try to counterbalance the heavy pack he is carrying.
Acrobatics (take 10), ACP, Inspiration: 10 + 4 - 3 + 1d6 ⇒ 10 + 4 - 3 + (6) = 17
Since Galandram no longer benefits from Inspired Rage, he is just slightly into a medium load again. Also, he's spending Inspiration like a sailor on shore leave!

Sabrine Basri |

”Thank you Galandram. If you want me to hold on to this I will make us of it. I promise.” She bows low to Galandram when he offers her the dagger and follows the rest of the party down the secret passageway.
Sighing loud for all to hear, ”Will the gods never cease to place filth in my path. Sheyln preserve me. If I must walk through this disguising slime at least I won’t be the only one. Come Yngvilda! You were quiet the warrior with that imp, you will make a fine ulfen warmaiden one day, of that I am sure.” Sabrine gives a genuine smile Yngvilda’s way all the while keeping her eye out for anything in the slime that could cause them trouble.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Unless Galandram remembers anything particularly sinister about the ooze, Sabrine will start trudging through it.

GM ShadowLord |

The plaque is 2.5' in diameter and weighs 50 lbs.
While Sabrine doesn't recall anything, Galandram recalls the story. Back in 4500 AR, Baron Sarvo Canteclure, a vicious lord who imprisoned subjects for the slightest infraction, joined an ill-advised rebellion against the Grand Prince, and his family and the castle were destroyed in retaliation. A man named Sir Arkold Devy was awarded the Barony of Belhaim for his role in helping to put down the seditious Canteclures. His descendants have ruled for the past 2 centuries.
Yngvilda - Strangely, neither dagger came with a sheath.
Galandram investigates the green slime and determines that once it was a potent acid, but it has congealed and weakened over many years. Anyone who touches the acid will take 1 acid damage per round.
Galandram balances himself well and makes it east along the thin stretch of ledge and turns south. Once south he is dismayed to see that the ledge only travels for 5' and then stops, leaving a 25' section withouth a walkway to the other side. 25' on the other side past the acid pit it looks like the corridor resumes southwest to a door.

Galandram Werynril |

Galandram will attempt to make his way back to the party without falling into the acid (saving his last point of Inspiration for when it matters. If he falls into the ).
Acrobatics (take 10), ACP: 10 + 4 - 3 = 11
Once he makes it back, he stops and looks at the group, saying "It doesn't look like we're going to make it to the next room without walking through some acid. At least, I know I can't leap 25 feet from a narrow ledge with no running start."
I know that Cei has Acid Resistance 5 from his Celestial Resistance, but I want to justify Galandram knowing this, so I'm going to give a Knowledge (Planes) roll -- the 25 is high enough that I feel he would know it. If that's incorrect, please consider the next statement not to have happened.
Knowledge (Planes), Inspiration: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (15) + 7 + (3) = 25
He continues, "Cei, your celestial blood might let you walk through that acid without taking damage, but that leaves you pretty exposed if there are more threats in that room."
"Surely there had to be a way for a normal person to get to this room if they had permission. I've been thinking about that lever we found earlier. I'm wondering if it would lower the level of this acid." The elf looks at Sabrine, "And your question about Baron Sarvo jogged my thinking, Bri. I wonder what that Lightning Elemental would say if we commanded him to move because 'Good Baron Sarvo wills it.' Both the spirit and the Imp repeated that exact phrase. Do you think it's worth checking out?" he asks the group. "I don't know if it would work, but I'd prefer not to trudge through acid if possible."

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

The plaque is a bit big to carry, we can grab it on the way out
Yngvilda beams at Sabrine's compliment. She's in the process of trying to wrap a length of her hemp rope around the dagger blade to serve as a makeshift sheath when Galandram voices his suggestion.
Craft (weapons) untrained: 1d20 ⇒ 9
"That sounds like a great idea, I bet you're right and the lever will allow us access. Invoking the Baron's name too, it sounds good to me!"
She takes a look at her spoon that has started the slow process of melting and makes a face.
"It beats trying to wade through that anyway!"

Cei |

Cei looks down at the sludge and back up, thinking for a long moment. "Yes, I suppose it might work. If it does not though, I might be able to carry you each across one by one," he shakes his head, "But I definitely think that is second choice. It would be slow, and I could not do it while wearing my armor for most of you." He turns back the way they had come and follows the others back to where the lever lies.

Sabrine Basri |

Sabrine nods in agreement when Galandram speaks up, ”I was curious about that phrase as well Galandram. It’s worth a shot at least. If it fails, how confident are we in our abilities to pull the lever and defeat the elemental?”
Sabrine asks this while following the others back to the lever. ”You know, I just had a thought. I can’t put the elemental to sleep, but I wonder how heavy that lever is. I could conjure some arcane force that might be able to pull the lever. Should we try that first? I suggest if we do that we still prepare for a fight.”
Depending on how heavy it is (within the 5 pound limit) and as long as nobody stops her, Sabrine will let everybody prepare for a fight and then try to use Mage Hand to pull the lever.

Eldon Cade |

Grinning with glee at the death of the pesky creature Eldon looks around at the group.
"Sorry, I couldn't get a clear shot at that cursed thing. Shame, I really wanted to blast something."
Following along his companions he follows Galandram, balancing on the narrow ledge.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Upon reaching the end of the ledge Eldon waits while Galnadram goes back for the rest of the party.
Finally a good roll.

GM ShadowLord |

Putting Sabrine's plan in to action, the group retraces their steps back past the dead imp through the jail cells and back to the lever room with the elemental. It still floats in exactly the same position it was when you last left it. Calling out the phrase "Baron Sarvo wills it!" has no effect except to make you remember the way the imp screamed it over and over again. Nice try!
Sabrine leads the group, going to the edge of her range for the spell and casting mage hand on the lever. At first, nothing happens. The lever has not move in a long, long time. With constant pressure though, the lever finally gives way and flips over. Once the lever moves, two things happen simultaneously.
First, a loud groaning and grinding sounds under the group. Grinding and clanking can be heard underneath of their feet.
Second, the lightning elemental goes from a station target to a flash of light which in a blink of an eye is all over Sabrine. It slams her chest with a blast of electricity which critically strikes her internal organs, very nearly stopping her heart. Critical hit, 10 damage.
Full party up!

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

"SABRINE! She's badly wounded! Cei can you heal her?"
Trapped in the close confines of the corridor, Yngvilda isn't sure what to do.
This is a pickle! I think Sabrine is currently disabled so can't withdraw, and Yngvilda is less than 10 feet away so can't charge/bull-rush the thing. Maybe Cei if you channeled, then Sabrine could withdraw and Yngvilda could step in and hit it?

Galandram Werynril |

"Bri! the elf's voice rings out, full of anxiety after seeing the elemental critically injure his companion. He immediately drops his rapier and draws his bow. Gathering his strength, he attempts to leap to the far walkway, hoping to set up a clean shot on the party's foe.
Acrobatics, ACP, Inspiration: 1d20 + 4 - 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 3 + (6) = 24

Sabrine Basri |

Brought down to her knees, a yelp is all Bri can manage before the electricity begins causing convulsions. Recovering momentarily, Bri looks at Yngvilda and Galandram and gives them a knowing look, staying down on the ground.
Bri will delay her turn until after Cei goes. As long as she’s healed she’ll take a move action to move behind Yngvilda then a Standard Action to use a round of Raging Song.
+2 Morale Bonus to Str and Con

If Cei does not use Channel Energy she’ll use her Standard Action to cast Cure Light Wounds on herself and then a move action to move behind Yngvilda.
Cure Light Wounds if that action takes place: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Cei |

Cei channel's again, he holds up the wooden symbol attached to his coat, "Shyka, reverse the effects of time." A burst of energy flows out of Cei reaching all his companions, this time flowing around the elemental.
Channel energy, exclude the elemental
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 5

GM ShadowLord |

Galandram, that "far walkway" is seperated by a wall. All you have here is a narrow corridor to the lever. It opens up on the other side of the elemental a bit as well as behind you, but you I don't think your acrobatics is high enough to phase through walls, is it? ;)
Sometimes life isn't fair.
Sabrine delays until after Cei channels, restoring her halfway back to full health. Once this is done, she attempts to move to safety behind the Ulfen. Unfortunately, the elemental is having none of that. As she attempts to move backwards the elemental zaps her when she opens herself up to an attack. This time the damage is sufficient enough to knock her unconscious, sending her sprawling to the ground in a charred pool of blood. 6 damage puts Sabrine at -1 and dying.
Galandram, Eldon and Yngvilda are still up for R1.
AoO Sabrine: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
damage: 1d4 + 1d3 ⇒ (4) + (2) = 6

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

Now that Sabrine has collapsed, Yngvilda will step protectively over her and open up on this creature in the way she has been taught, axe and shield Which she hopefully had time to prepare before the level was pulled
Heavy Spiked Shield BaB+STR-2WF: 1d20 + 1 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 3 - 2 = 5
Piercing Shield Damage STR: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Handaxe Slashing Damage STR+Ulfen training: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9
Continuing her virtuoso display of fighting prowess :)

Eldon Cade |

Unable to clearly see what is going on Eldon fidgets move from side to side trying to see past his fellows. Realising that there is little chance of hitting the elemental with a spell he pulls out his crossbow and loads it with a bolt.
Move action to draw out the crossbow and standard to load it.

Galandram Werynril |

@GM ShadowLord Well, that's what I get for trying to post while riding a bus where I can't easily go and look at older room descriptions. -_- Sorry bout that!
Can't say I really want to try to deal with the -8 effective penalty for shooting through soft cover into melee combat. Can we say that Galandram (A) Didn't drop his rapier, (B) dropped his pack, and (C) used his previous acrobatics roll (with Inspiration) to try to move through the Lightning Elemental's space to the far side?

Galandram Werynril |

Since Galandram can't attempt to phase through a wall with an acrobatics check (misread the map), I'm going to retcon the previous actions in this combat.
"Bri!" the elf's voice rings out, full of anxiety after seeing the elemental critically injure his companion. Seeing Yngvilda step up, and having no good way to attack the Lightning Elemental, he strides forward 9keeping a firm grip on his rapier), springing into a dive as he attempts to tumble past the elemental to get to a more advantageous position.
Acrobatics, ACP, Inspiration: 1d20 + 4 - 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 3 + (5) = 23
Galandram will use both move actions to move next to the elemental, and then attempt to tumble 10' (moving through its square) to its other side

GM ShadowLord |

Somehow I didn't see Eldon nor Galandram's post before my last, sorry about not responding earlier. Yes, that's fine!
Galandram's tumble is expertly executed and he deftly tumbles past the elemental and puts himself in a more advantageous position.
The lighting elemetnal repeats the slam that it blasted Sabrina with twice, but this time Yngvilda's solid footing and positioning puts her in a place to block the attack with her shield.
Full party up! for R2
Attack Yngvilda: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Galandram Werynril |

Galandram looks surprised that he made it past the elemental. I can't believe that worked! he thinks, as he lunges at the elemental with his rapier.
Attack, rapier: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2Damage, rapier (P): 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Distracted by his acrobatic success, and slightly off-balance from the landing, he steps awkwardly as he thrusts, completely missing the elemental and giving a yelp as he almost trips. Note: Save the celebrating for after you've defeated the enemy, he ruefully thinks, as he recollects himself and settles into a fencing stance.

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

It sounds like you moved into a flanking position Galandram, I moved you on the map to reflect that and took a flanking bonus in my attacks, I hope that's correct
Yngvilda opens her tightly closed eyes as she manages to block the elemental slams her shield. As she was fully expecting it to whip round and electrocute her butt she feels bolstered, and repeats her attacks
Spiked Shield BaB+STR+Flank-2WF: 1d20 + 1 + 3 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 3 + 2 - 2 = 11
Shield Damage STR: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Handaxe Damage STR+Ulfen Training: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
She's adopted a more workman like attitude, she knows battles aren't always won in a few seconds, she's bashing away with her shield, trying to keep it up, and swiping at the creature with her axe without witty banter or frustrated cries

Galandram Werynril |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

@Yngvilda - thank you for moving my token. I did not apply a flanking bonus on my attacks because elementals are not subject to flanking (though I'm not sure that Galandram knows this).

Sabrine Basri |

Fortitude to stabilize: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Hey! A decent roll when we need it! Lol

Cei |

Cei pushes his way forward to where he starts by casting a spell. He touches Yngvilda on the shoulder again, "Shyka's many hands guide you."
Guidance on Yngvilda again. Dang narrow fighting space.

GM ShadowLord |

Yngvilda's shield bash misses, but she corrects with her handaxe and chops away some of the substance from the elemental.
Eldon's shot is quite remarkable, guiding it over Yngvidla's shoulder to where the elemental is and blasting into the body of the creature.
With Galandram now behind him, the elemental spins in with a flash and a blur. A kinetic blast accompanying by electricty slams into the investigator, his body crackling and sizzling (6 damage).
Full party up for R3!
Galandram: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
1d4 + 1d3 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

"Thank you Cei. Great shot Eldon! You nearly hit one of braids though!"
While she is saying this, she is continuing to fight as she has been taught, using Cei's guidance to lend accuracy to her Handaxe.
Handaxe BaB+STR+Guidance-2WF: 1d20 + 1 + 3 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 3 + 1 - 2 = 4

Shield Bash Damage STR: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
I've not included the flanking bonus as it was pointed out they elementals are not subject to flanking, but I did include it in my last post in case that makes a difference

Galandram Werynril |

The elemental's attack wracks Galandram with pain, as his body nearly seizes up from the sudden slam and the electrical current flowing through it. He grits his teeth as he makes another thrust at the elemental with his rapier before taking a guarded step back from it, hoping to avoid a counterattack.
Attack, rapier: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7Damage (P): 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Melee attack, followed by a 5' step away from the enemy.

Eldon Cade |

Eldon looks at his crossbow in surprise for a moment, clearly amazed at hitting the elemental. Pulling out another bolt he reloads and takes aim once more.
Crossbow (Ranged Attack): 1d20 + 5 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 4 - 4 = 12
Crossbow Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Cei |

Cei bends down to check on Sabrine, then starts to drag her away from the fight.
I don't know if you need any rolls, or if this is even considered possible. If not I guess I'll cast Guidance again.

GM ShadowLord |

Sure, we can say that you pulled her away.
After Cei gets Sabrine clear, Yngvilda lays into the elemetnal with another strong, brutal bash of her shield. Unfortunately neither Galandram or Eldon can followup to finish off the elemental. It looks weak as it sways in the air, barely maintaining its life. It throws everything it has as it slams into the mighty ulfen warrior, blasting her with kinetic energy and shocking her with elemental damage at the same time. 3 damage!
[b]Full party up![/ooc]
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
1d4 + 1d3 ⇒ (1) + (2) = 3

Galandram Werynril |

Galandram, still singed from the elemental's previous attack, looks at Yngvilda, who is under assault from the enemy. In a tiny voice that does not carry over the sound of battle, he whispers, "You wanted this, Gal," as he again raises his rapier. With a dancer's grace, he steps in towards the foe, giving a thrust of his rapier with a slight grimace, as he again feels the pangs of his recent injury.
Attack, rapier: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Yngvilda Grimsdottir |

Keep your shield up!
Yngvilda again thinks of her father training her in their house in Oppara, as she hears his voice in her head again chiding her poor shield discipline. The jolt from the elemental shocks her back to the present as moves into the opening left by her failing to bring it back up.
This is not the same without Sabrine's song
She repeats her movements, her lack of concentration causing her to fail to bring her shield up again.
Shield Bash BaB+STR-2WF: 1d20 + 1 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 3 - 2 = 5
Shield Piercing Damage STR: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Handaxe Damage STR+Ulfen training: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7

Cei |

Cei, seeing that everyone is hurt, holds the little hourglass symbol high, and calls for Shyka's blessing again.
Channel Energy, exclude Elemental: 1d6 ⇒ 2
30 feet. Should get everyone.

Galandram Werynril |

Galandram feels healing energy wash over him, as he feels the pain from his scorched skin and internal damage ease just a bit. "Many thanks, Cei!" he calls out to the aasimar, as he straightens up just a bit.
Free action to speak even when it's not Galandram's turn.

Sabrine Basri |

Sabrine’s eyes open from the healing energy released by Cei. Her eyes open and she props herself up onto an elbow, spurting and coughing blood.
”Cei, thank you friend. I have asked too much of you and you have spent too much of your power. Thank you again. I am in your debt. Save the rest of your abilities for the others”
Sabrine begins singing a song as white notes fill the air they surround her and she becomes enveloped in a white light.
Once her wounds have begun to heal she turns to the rest of the group, ”Well now that thats over, what’s our prize? I hope it was worth it! What does the lever connect to?”
