Good. So did I. My nephew was sick this Christmas, but otherwise a cheerful little guy. Today he woke up feeling better, so yay!
I am trying to get my brain back into the combat, and hoping I can post tonight and rev us back up!

(I've been running that pilot initiative is not a Starship combat check based on a game from a VC dinner with an SF gamedesigner as GM. He ruled it that way, and so I've followed that ruling ever since. But I agree that this is very much a GM call.)

I may bot Karyn (as Birgin said he may not be available till after new years) to fill the hole in our forward shields so that Sauros can still fire the particle beam (otherwise I was going to point our side at them).
I'll include that action as a spoiler in my post, and if others disagree I will rescind it.
Actually, just gonna keep port pointed at them for now, and Karyn can do something else with her action. (partially cause I can't get us facing their butt this turn)

That thoroughly screwed up my prep, not realizing the ship's size until I showed up to GM. Luckily I had a blank flipmat.

Also, I am botting everyone's perception checks as you enter each room, in order to speed up our shipboard dungeon crawl in PBP. And yes, those broken robots were me skipping the optional encounter so that we can all finish before the January 16th playtest deadline.

At this point, do you want us to call the fight, or do you want to use up your remaining powers in the mop-up? In a normal game, I'd call the fight, but this is a Playtest and if you have any abilities you want to try out still, let me know.

So I guess with the playtest, the Chronicle is applied as a Tier 7-8, right? We don't need to hold it until 8th level?
