Three months after a crushing defeat, the Dwarves of Gold Peak must band together, defend the city, rally their forces and allies, and eventually rescue the captured King Dak Nimbus.

Unb is back! And he has mount!

“You summon a light horse or a pony (your choice) to serve you as a mount. The steed serves willingly and well. The mount comes with a bit and bridle and a riding saddle.”

At lvl5 that lasts 10 hours. If he is in a cart, could he summon two? If so that’d give us three horses to pull two carts full of supplies

Ok, so using the horses you brought gets 1.

Counting all 1st and 2nd level spells Ungebrochen could prepare up to 10 mounts per day, which needing 2 per cart could get up to 6 of 16 carts. No, the grains were essentially filling the carts so they can't be combined to fewer.

It's a 5 day journey back to Gold Peak.

Get a 40 or above on diplomacy and convince the trolls to pull our carts back.

Given that they might have our horses and rhey almost definitely have our people, I think we should go after the trolls. If we cover the grain, it might last a little while. Given that the options are

1. Return immediately with a little grain and no dwarves
Vs
2. Go after the trolls for a little bit, maybe rescuing some dwarves, finding horses, and figuring out what the heck happened

I vote for #2. But given the con damage, we should fight a little more cautiously.

Vargas can throw 5 lesser restorations around per day, but then is only using 1st level spells for fighting.

Vargas with 2nd level spells and Rubius can both summon fire elementals to aid with troll cleanup.

So you know that creatures get a size bonus to stealth. +8 for tiny I believe.

I anticipate that we might need to retreat in formation while engaging these trolls to give ourselves more time to take them down. Engaging a dozen trolls in melee is suicide.

Just as an update, I am almost done with the submission.
I still need to gear up, and read up a bit more on the background/setting - unless defining character history can wait and be done in cooperation with GM - he seems to actively participate in the process :)

Dvalin is the lucky guy I would like to re-use for this game.

Some thoughts: You need arcane support - I have an Arcanist in Rubius game, wouldn't want to double up. Sorcerer would have been fun, but more so if there's a more versatile full caster already in the party, and it seemed the previous caster tried to take care of knowledges. So that left Wizard or Witch in the running.
I decided to go with Witch - because it overall fit my idea better than the wizard and allowed a few spins on mechanics(e.g. Patron Mirror=>Mirror Ball=>Steel Sphere=>a gift from the mountain forged in sacred fires-)...I'll need to flesh those out more but will read more into the setting/contact the GM before I do.
I should also say that due to the process being ongoing, nothing is final(e.g. False Focus is definitely not locked in). But I figured I should give a sign of life :)

I am very aware "basic idea for character goals/hooks" was part of the recruitment OP, but I feel with a replacement char, it's a slightly different situation - be assured I'll not neglect those, I just didn't start with them.

Go to campaign info and edit the campaign. Near the bottom of the edit page, you can mark a player as inactive. That way they won't get pings every time the game updates.

Is there a deity that Kragg’s blast could be the favored weapon for? I love the earth blast and might well just stick to that element. But at 2/3 BaB his accuracy is going to nose dive at later levels. This would let him stick to physical blasts and get a single solid hit in (forgoing iterative attacks). While also getting past some DR.

Is there a way to make this work? If not NP. He’ll instead go with water as his second element for extra AC and a ranged touch attack.

And Durnim also has Enlarge Person for another 31 rounds, and you can take your round 3 & 4 actions now
