My "Table Rules" -

0 - RL > Game. No other rules trump rule 0! :D

1 - I'd like it if everyone posted once a day Mon-Fri. Friday night through Sunday night is eh-whatever (I am in US Eastern Time, for reference). I'll try to post when I can over weekends, but I know people have lives and won't always be online, so no worries.

2 - If you don't post in the middle of an "action" scene for a day, you get skipped once (or botted if your action would be super obvious or you leave a note to me or another player "proxying" your character). If you don't post a second time, you get "botted" by me to do something simple (usually just attack or aid another). If we get into the 3-5 range, I'll probably drop you a line off-list to see what's up. If it goes on too long...well, I hate dropping people from games, but it unfortunately happens :(

3 - When you've got a saving throw to make, roll that first before posting anything else.

4 - Feel free to roll perception and sense motive whenever you want, and if you have a reroll, feel free to use that anytime as well.

5 - Have fun! Rule 5 trumps all other rules! :P

This looks like a pretty weird group, with 2 level 3s and 2 level 5s, plus a level 6 to bring us even closer to the break point. Hope the last person is a level 3 or 4 to even things out a bit.

Good thing we're just going to a concert right? What can go wrong at a concert.

I of course am going there to help with the medical staff. Besides the possible problems with people taking illicit drugs, some people just can't take the adrenaline rush a concert produces.

Question for the group - there is a 7th player (3rd level Wrikreechee Operative) who wants to play. I'm sort of 50/50 on 7 player tables in pbp (have seen both good and bad from them in the past), so I wanted to solicit your opinions on the matter.

I can’t speak to the scenario, so I don’t know that it will unabalance. We are already with 3 5s and 3 3s, I think.

But, saying this, I know I got in because i happened to be faster.

Dire GM, what if I offered to run this when we finish this game, player will be guaranteed a seat?

A note from your GM - this scenario contains lots of neat lore and "on the side" info that is not openly volunteered by NPCs. The more questions you ask, the more stuff you might uncover!

Besides maybe the Commencement, are there any other scenarios we should probably mention we have played? And any information on things like boons that we might want to slot?

FYI, I have played the Commencement. And I bought the music for Historia, Ziggy and even myself. Well helped chip in for the music for Historia and Ziggy.

As a general note, Mondays are very busy for me, so I will always try to post something Sunday nights since I might not get to post again until after midnight (US Eastern time) on Monday.

I will be out of town this coming Saturday, and also likely unavailable during the weekend of October 26th-28th as I'm running our local fall convention then. If you're not too far away from the Bloomington, Indiana area, definitely feel free to join us! :P

Btw, as this may become relevant for this mission: Lynn considers SMC to be her rivals for the affection of the Pact Worlds. She attempted to sabotage the Star Sugar Heartlove physical album release back in 1-01, largely through anonymous tips through the Infosphere to mislead fans into thinking the album isn't available. That plan didn't work out (flubbed some computers rolls), but she has been on the lookout for other opportunities for covert action.

OOC, I expect this mission will involve saving SMC in some way. This puts Lynn in a tough spot. The way I'm planning to rationalize it is: Lynn probably can't take any overt actions against the group, as anything that can actually be traced back to her would tarnish her image. As a result, it may be that her grudge against them never comes up in-game. If an opportunity arises though, hopefully Mr. Dire GM will be willing to oblige with some minor, non-derailing fun.

Ugh, shoot. When I went to look for my boons and what stuff I played, I realized that this one was attached to Gear. I'm super duper sorry to be such a bummer. If it's not to big of a deal, i can switch it to my level 4 Soldier "Balloonboy" and write gear out real quick. Sorry again GM, I thought I had attached this one to a different character but apparently not. >.<

Aww, shame you have to switch out Gear!

No worries on switching out characters - unless you want to move your GM credit to your Barathu so you can play your Android (which I can help facilitate). If doing so would mess up your sheets, though, switching is totally fine by me.

Honestly? I would much rather play Gear for this mission than Balloonboy (He's kinda stodgey) If it's not TO much hassle to switch my GM credit, I would love to keep Gear in game.

The site is giving me some problems at the moment, but I'll try to send you a private message here in a bit.

FYI. I am in a work conference all day, so will get to my character tonight. Will need the physical copy to see which booms he has, though he at least Star Sugar Heartlove!
