I don't know if TheDireGM has read the last 2 posts...but I will tell him when I see him (today, going to the con he is running) to not have any drinks or food in hand when reading it....I was drinking my tea to get motivated in getting ready to do the ~1.5 hour drive down to the con...and I almost had tea go out my nose.
Maybe we should just stop the actual scenario and see which of you two steals the show ;-)

The con was fun. I kinda burned the candle at both ends on Friday trying to get ready to go, and then we had a fun time on Saturday. TheDireGM was there and running pretty awesome games.
I am not 100% certain on if he is checking or not, but I can say that it is likely he is pretty exhausted from the con (all the pre, actual con and pos con), and when he gets that way it is hard for him to get much but RL immediate important stuff done. Also, I believe he has a trip to see his family in the next couple days, so hopefully the game will be back on after that...

Heya, all. So, pursuant to Hmm's notes about the PbP convention, thanks to all the site outages and such, there is no way we're going to be finished by November 19th. As such, I plan to report the game so we still get counted as part of the con, but we can still edit things afterwards if changes are needed.
As such, this works out as a great time for boon rolls! Everyone has a 10% chance for everyone to win a boon for each table you play or GM! A roll of 19 or 20 wins, and for SFS tables, a 1d2 determines which of the two boons you earn.
To keep things fair, my modus operendii is to roll for everyone at once, in alphabetical order with myself last. So, good luck to all, and here we go!

You can send it to me in a private message if you don't want to post it here, but I will need it by the 17th-18th if I'm going to report it to the convention organizers (who will then email it to you after the event ends).

Just a heads up about this coming week. From Saturday the 17th to Saturday the 24th I might not be able to post too often each day. As my wife and I are going to head to Florida to see her family for Thanksgiving. I will do my best to post probably in the AM sometime, but if things get dropped into a furball (say a combat), the GM has my permission to bot me as he best sees fit.
I suspect this will be the case with many people. I, myself, will be traveling on the 20th until the 24th, but in theory I should be able to make posts from my folks' place. We'll just go slow and steady as we need to! :)

BTW, based on our current pace, do you think we will be done with this scenario by the 1st of December? I have a convention coming up that weekend and am considering bringing Lynn off the PbP boards for once.

Its also not a big deal if we aren't done by the 1st as I have other characters to bring.
@Gear: Wow, after reading Dire's post in gameplay, I was straining to remember exactly what his description of the bot reminded me of. And lo and behold, Gear to the rescue! It's totally Mettaton. 100%! I particularly remembered this cool fan animation.

That was such a fun one. I love undertale, and Delta Rune (WHHHHHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME WAIT FOR MORE TOBY!). I did totally fall in love with the musical though, especially hopes and dreams.
We are, in fact, nearly at the end of our adventure together! I'm hoping that despite all of the delays that you've been enjoying all of this! If you could, please make a post here in the next couple of days to let me know the following information:
