I will post the boon's that you've earned on a separate link, but the repairs reward includes a potion of cure serious wounds for each of you and a potion of up to 3rd level for each of you.
| GM Blake |
I will attempt to place a notification here when I post a GM entry. I've heard that doing this speeds up response time from players and increases overall Special efficiency.
Thanks!
| GM Blake |
Chandu: I trust that you will agree that doing all of the activities would burn through the 140 minute duration of the extended heroism.
Chandu
|
Absolutely fine with that.
She will take a potion of herosim as her reward...:)

Thranalas, disdainful of weapons as well as labor, opts:
Crossbow bolt of Construct Bane
Potion of Gaseous Form.
Chandu
|
I will take undead bane ammunition which anyone is welcome to.
Yen Jinsa Taishin
|
Some one else can have my bane weapon if wanted.
I will take a potion of fly.
Bonaventure!
|
I'll take bane (evil outsider) which somebody else can use.
I'll take a potion of fly.

I will be using average team initiatives in order to speed things along in the PbP format. No reason for half the team to wait to post while I'm at work and unable to post Grunt B's action.
Due to that, what I will do is apply your initiative boons when they would make a difference (and be eligible to use, obviously). E.g. if you're fighting constructs and the enemy's average initiative is 22 and the party average is 20, I'll add the +4 boon to make the party initiative 24.
For contingent actions, especially if both are dependent on a d20 roll, place them in a spoiler. If they both use a d20 roll, give me the unmodified d20 roll and then tell me what the individual modifiers are for the contingent actions. E.g. Trip vs. Attack: roll d20, tell me your trip modifier is +7 and your attack modifier is +5.

I'm personally not comfortable altering the mechanics of the game in such a fashion. In my experience block initiative works well enough.

Me neither.
| GM Blake |
I'll let the other players weigh in then because it will affect their experience.
Specials move faster, I believe you all know, and there is a lot to experience. Block initiative will slow me down where there's an errant group of NPCs in the initiative when I'm at work, and artificially delaying them to meet up with the next in line accomplishes the same thing as average initiative except that if there are players with even lower initiatives they are forced to wait.
I'm not married to average initiatives, but it proved a useful tactic for speeding up Solstice Scar, so choose carefully.
Thranalas
|
TBH I use block average for enemies, and individuals for PCs, and then after the first bit, it comes out the same. I only separate enemy initiatives if I KNOW I'm going to be glued to the keyboard.

| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I will also be using the Rule of Two to determine the next course of action. Since Thran is auto-seconding the first suggestion, this becomes a 'rule of one.'
If you're not OK with that, let me know, and what I'll do is use Thran's auto-vote to move things along if two people haven't expressed dissenting opinions to the first suggestion within a 'reasonable time frame.'

***Token #2***
Passing Aid Token to: GM Blake
Current Boosts: None
| GM Blake |
Do not be shy in using the Aid Tokens. The faster you use them, the faster they'll circulate.
Bonaventure!
|
I don't think we need to use it at the moment. We can boost it and pass it on.
Would somebody like to boost Allied Offensive? I don't know how many rounds of bardic performance Chandu has, but if he has a few to spare we could also boost Timely Inspiration. Barring that, if somebody has knowledge skills we could boost Provide Knowledge.
Chandu
|
I have 19 rounds remaining. Specials tend to be resource intensive so I would like to keep them. Heres an attempted knowledge check boost:
Arcana, Heroism: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 = 15
| GM Blake |
You'll be done with this encounter soon. Pick your next faction to assist (or even provide a priority order list).
Chandu

Liberty's Edge gets my vote.
Thranalas

Other factions represented here:
Grand Lodge (Thran)
Exchange (Chandu)
Liberty's Edge (Grog)
Dark Archives (Bonaventure)

Chandu (just a reminder as we've got a lot going on at the moment) bless and heroism are both morale bonuses, so they don't stack.
Also, I'll chalk up a first level summon eating three magic missiles as win in my book. :)
Chandu

Doh, good point.

...and it almost survived it, too.

Regarding Bonaventure's post in Gameplay: I'm actually writing up a loot sheet for you guys that I will link in the Campaign. The mercenaries did have quite a bit of useful things.
I will assume that you, as good Pathfinders, will search and identify what you can when not faced with imminent doom.
Bonaventure!
|
I put the loot in a table along with some initial thoughts about who might want some pieces. If you want anything please post in the table.
Yen Jinsa Taishin

Wow, woke up this evening with 27 new gameplay post...
Quick botting notes are due then...
If withing melee will cast shocking grasp.
base attack is +4
base damage is 5d6+5 electricity
if ranged, i have magic missile. Three of them at this level
Also have a wand of magic missile, if I run low on spells.
Bonaventure!

As for our next stop, Exchange or Dark Archive would be my votes.
Thranalas
|
Each remaining faction has a single player in it. Hopefully we get them all. I'll stick by my plan and second the first vote given, so Exchange in this case.
Bonaventure!
|
Sure, Silver Crusade after Exchange sounds fine to me.
