I'm going out of town for a friend's wedding starting today through Saturday. I'll try to make at least one post a day, even if it's something simple.

Will be on vacation for a week starting tonight. I'll try to check the boards and post every couple of days, but bot me if needed. You know the drill, shoot the bad guy with Point Blank Shot (move closer if needed to get within 20' of pistol's 'touch' range), always use a grit point for Up Close and Deadly deed, and use Deadly Aim feat as well. If he runs out of grit, he'll just hope to get it back with a killing blow. Below are his 'usual' stats when he shoots:
Pistol +6 ranged 'touch' attack (if within 20' for pistol range); 1d8 +3 damage, +1d6 for Up Close and Deadly deed (on a miss, target still takes 1d3 damage for 'graze' shot).
Thanks!

Not counting the polished rocks that I didn't even mention? (no value except if you are low on sling stones)
The decorated silver plate is ~1 pound. The gems are small and of little to no weight. Standard weight for coins.
If you happen to state that you are stripping a set of chain mail off of something to carry, along with a dozen or more weapons I'll probably ask you to check your encumbrance.... Otherwise I don't worry about it.

I really wish I hadn't read that last post right before bed lol I laid awake trying to figure out a plan. I just woke up, so I'll post what I figure out later today.
Also, completely unrelated, my wife and I just adopted my aunt's cat. She moved and couldn't take him with her. We have a cat already, so now begins the slow process of introducing them lol

So Rafael has Orcs 2,3, and 5 going toward him. Orc 5 has reached him and hit him for 7 damage. Orcs 2 and 3 follow in that order behind Orc 5.
Which was the one Rafael hit for 4 damage in his last turn?

I assumed that you were shooting the closest, hoping to drop him before he got a chance to attack you....
I'm going to delay my post a little bit to see if I can get some help for you. Although I think Pharithstilis might have saved you. Orcs have a miserable Will save.

Yeah, I was shooting the closest one, I guess I was just unsure of which one that was number-wise. I know #5 was the one that charged at me first, so I assumed that was the one I hit for 4 damage. Then #5 hit me for 7, then I FFS away and hit #5 for 1 damage.
So, I think the layout is:
R #5 #2 #3

Please keep reminding me if I forget to post that.
Yes, it was 675 XP total, divided by the participants. I'd assume that since Ingra and Roland joined late they should get a little less. (and Ingra was NPC'd but for good RL reasons) My breakdown would be 200 each for Rafael and Phari, 150 to Roland and 125 to Ingra. Any disagree with that?
BTW: I like what you did with the map with labels. I'll put notes on mine for the future. (If I ever get around to posting it) I would recommend labeling stairs as "Up" or "Down" rather than by number. Sometimes going up or down a flight of stairs doesn't change your level. So while you are currently on level 1, there is no level 0 and those stairs were up.

Thanks for the clarification with the stairs. I forgot that part of "floor doesn't necessarily equal level". I'll make sure just to do "stairs up" or "stairs down".
And the breakdown of XP works for me.

Sorry for the delay. I'm away from home and don't have the ability to redraw the map. That was a great choice at it opens up a LOT of corridor and gives you a better idea of how big this area is. I'll be home Sunday and try to get it updated with all that you have discovered and the doors, etc that you find.

Sorry again. I didn't get the map posted. I will get it done tonight though. It is the first thing on my list once I get home, ~7 PM EST.
Rafael and Pharithstilis, What is your current XP total? I don't see it on Rafael's sheet and the CS for Pharithstilis says 100 XP which I know is wrong. If you are close enough to level 2 maybe I'll ignore the dice and add a wandering monster....

I'm guessing shooting by Ingrid will give the orcs cover (+4 AC) because of how narrow the hallway is?
"To determine whether your target has cover from your ranged attack, choose a corner of your square. If any line from this corner to any corner of the target’s square passes through a square or border that blocks line of effect or provides cover, or through a square occupied by a creature, the target has cover (+4 to AC)."

With the hallway and the doorway, I'd say that would be valid. Also, at your current location you could only target #9.
Ingra will need to make a decision about moving forward or pushing back (if the team lets her). That will also affect Pharithstilis's spell....

I agree. Hope everyone had a good Christmas holiday and have a Happy New Year. We are in Boston enjoying some time with our daughter and family, and particularly our grandson. Will be back home Sunday, but I hope I'll be able to handle the details of this little orc battle.... :-)

In the last GM message, you mentioned possibly the light flickering. Are these rooms lit with torches on the walls, just our lights, or is there a magical light aura sort of thing?

Well.... that orc did. Or did he? Was he really there, or did you imagine that he was? If absolutely necessary could you prove it? Cogito ergo.... Ah, forget it anyway! :-)
So where will you be checking now? I'm assuming that you carefully searched all of the exposed hallway for secret doors, traps, etc. So that leaves:
The door at the end of the weird hallway in the top-left of the map
Ditto the one in the bottom-right corner
The room with the sarcophagi along the walls that you looked in to but did not enter
The doors in the room with the mural on the ceiling
And the teleporting crystal doorknob
Or the stairs up
Odd that you haven't found any stairs down yet. ??

I assumed that top-left hallway is what Roland was mentioning, and I'm cool going that way.
There is a portcullis leading into the sarcophagi room from the empty room, but I think Roland tried to open it and it didn't budge.

The door on the right hand wall of this room (starving orcs) leads to the sarcophagi room.
If you click on the link at the top of this page and it doesn't show the updated map, please refresh your browser cache. For Windows browsers that takes clicking F5. Not sure about other OS's. (Quick search in Google indicates that the Apple symbol and R does it on a MAC. Control+Shift+R is supposed to work in LINUX. And supposedly for Android there should be three dots in the top-right corner that let you refresh the cache....
