Fear not. There are options. Some of the party have begun long term (minimum 1 minute/10 round) negotiations. I hadn't planned on rping the whole thing but I did want everyone's input and the knowledge of whether or not someone was going to take a battle axe to the plan. Correct. Now that might just be the fact that the little bugger is is using the bed for cover or....

I will assume folks wait out the full minute of diplomacizing and then move on later tonight, if no one posts in say the next 12 hours. We'll play it a bit loose with the initiative until then. Folks can still take actions, but depending on what they are I may interrupt you or the negotiations.

Yes, it is usually considered a move action to retrieve items from your gear. That said you still have the opportunity to take a five-foot step (since you are not doing any actual "map moving"), and take a standard action (like attacking) as well.

The pig's eyes widen as Jeanne picks up the box. It blinks once as Annuit's magic missile strikes its flank. Then its eyes narrow into tiny hate-filled slits....

Concentrating again, Jeanne focuses down on the object in her hands, a curious gilt puzzle box, but she does not sense any evil about the thing.

Open the jolly, candy-like box?

Disable Device DC 40:
You have unlocked what appears to be the first of seven total locks on the box. Continue?

Currently whatever it is, appears to be an enormous, savage feral pig. You must beat its disguise check (DC 24) to know what it is you are truly seeing.

If you see through the disguise, you have a chance to identify it here.

He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬

Abubot scrupulously avoids eye contact with his fellows while making polite chit chat with the Paracountess.

Ilennabot steps forward and casts guidance upon Lars.

The devil pig snorts and lunges toward Jeanne intending to smash through Lars first.
