Been two years since i got an opportunity to play a pc in thw wot setting. Right now im running two wot campaigns where the pcs are 10th level.
Questions i have:
What is the starting level?
Will you allow the netbooks?
Are you aware of the wot pathfinder conversion sourcebook?
What book will this take place?

Thanks! I've been pouring over the corebook and it seems rather similar to pathfinder so I should pick it up rather quickly. There are some differences (such as movement x1 speed doesnt provoke AoO's apparently) that I may take a bit getting used to...
So I think I want to try a Borderlander Wanderer, but I'm not sure yet. Definitely not anything that channels, too complex for me right now.
Okay so as this is only my second post, I'm not sure what the dice mechanics are but lets try it!
First set:
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 5) = 16 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 2) = 12 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 6) = 17 15
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 3) = 12 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 1, 5) = 15 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 3) = 9 ..7
Second set:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 4, 4) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 4) = 19 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 5) = 18 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 6) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 5) = 20 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 5) = 21 16
I will be taking the second set!

            Roll one
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 4) = 15 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 5) = 14 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 1) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 6) = 18 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1, 5) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 2) = 13 11
Roll 2
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 3) = 1613
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 3) = 1512
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 1) = 1211
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 2) = 1816
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 6) = 1413
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 1) = 1312
Roll number 2 for me
Thinking either thief taker, ogier armsman or male wilder

So I've picked my abilities, background, and skills, still working on the rest. I did decide to be a Borderlander (Saldaean) Wanderer. I'm not quite sure if I want to go two-weapon dagger, or more thrown dagger/shortbow. Any recommendations?
Anyway I ended up putting my abilities:
STR 15 +2
DEX 16 +3
CON 16 +3
INT 15 +2
WIS 11 +0
CHA 09 -1
I figured the -1 to CHA would have the least impact, as well as reflecting his reserved personality, as the only CHA skill I've ranked up is Bluff for feinting.
Background feat: Stealthy (+2 Hide/Move Silent)
Background skill: 4 in Listen
Background languages: Trolloc, Common (Midlands)
I've got 40 skill points for level 1, which are kind of all over the place, but mostly focused in stealthiness and acrobatics...
4 in Balance
4 in Bluff
2 in Climb
2 in Disable Device
4 in Hide
1 in Intuit Direction
2 in Jump
1 in Knowledge (Blight)
4 in Move Silent
2 in Open Lock
4 in Read Lips
2 in Search
4 in Sense Movive
4 in Tumble
Still working on feats (depending on weapons), equipment, and backstory.
Again if you guys have any recommendations please let me know, I'm still new to this stuff :)

Under the dragons banner netbook with sword forms
should we use the d20 WOT rpg book for all rules, including feats, feat progression, skills, skill allocation? Or should we use feats, skills, skill point allocation and feat progression from pathfinder?

it adds alot of flavor text, new skills, new feats, new weaves, eliminates the PrC of both blademaster and WOlfbrother. The wolfbrother path is enabled by feats, and the blademaster is handled by skill (swordform). It also gives a person a change to be a member of the illuminator guild; shows progressions for trollocs to make them more difficult.

Yeah, I do like the pathfinder conversion.
The dragon banner netbook seems to be an add-on to the core, since Wizards apparently had no follow up material. It adds in a few new classes (and prestige classes), as well as revises a few others (such as the noble). There are a few new weaves, new skills like Sword Forms(!), and various new feats among which are +1 stats, and the Wolfbrother latent ability. It also has some things about chosen and forsaken, and that's where I stopped browsing. It seems pretty cool altogether.

My apologies, I was not aware of this rule. The books for this game are difficult to find nowadays so I figure making it available would entice new players.

I ran this module in 3.5 D&D (twice). It's interesting, but be aware that it needs some tweaking along the way, and the game system itself is heavily flawed, particularly for the One Power.
Some parts are very good, some mediocre, and double check all NPC stats, as they are often errors, illegal combinations, or simply lack of vital gear/feats etc.
Good luck and have fun! May the creator shelter you, and may you always find water and shade :)

2nd Set:

Going with 1st set. Domani armsman: eventual blademaster.
Will finish crunch after work.

Looks like you've got a Wilder, a Wanderer, Woodsman, and Armsman. That pretty much covers the Arcane, Fighter, Skill monkey roles you'd look for in a Pathfinder game, so what might be most useful is a healer type. I have an Aes Sedai character I would love to retask to this group; she was in one of Rizzenmagnus' games that unfortunately faded out. Obviously, as a level 1 character she would have to be scaled back to a Initiate or Wilder, with only the goal of becoming Aes Sedai, but if you can forgive the Sedai in the alias's name until she actually earns it, I think I'll use the profile.

They arrived in a village and discovered that the sheep were being killed by wolves. They volunteered to help with the wolf problem and went into the forest to look for the wolves. They found a slaughtered bear instead and tracking the creature that killed the bear they found a strange monster instead (One of the creatures brought in by the Seachan, A lopar)
They are currently doing battle with that creature.
Timeline wise we are in the first half of the second book.
