Sorry if you are getting bored guys, I'll give everyone the rest of the day to post then we will move on so you don't have to spend any more time in a meadow and a cabin =D

Definitely, this should fit right in with the way the game goes anyhow.

Any highlights you want me to work in?

I've been thinking: If Zaidel levels somehow, I might want to put a few skill points into Perform (sing) and Perform (string instrument) and possibly expose Golarion or wherever we are to Earth's rock-n-roll. I was listen to some Queen while doing laundry and was wowed by the idea of creating a new to them style of music for this fantasy world! Bards and skalds from across the world might flock to Zaidel to learn his rock anthems, ballads, and party tunes from 'beyond the stars'!

This is totally hilarious, we can work it in.

I am actually loving this. The opening scene so far has more fat to chew and more tough choices than some whole campaigns I've seen.

Yasss,

Right now, the only thing I can think of for you to work in would be Lantern King stuff, as that's who the bargain was struck with, and how Lir has the power he does.

Also, in case it was missed earlier, I finished my backstory, but it ended up being too long for my profile, so I made a separate alias for it.

I might like to have the Vulture King establish a base of worshippers, possibly represented by the Leadership feat. The Vulture King would probably want to keep the group together, as a pack will always survive better than a lone wolf, and the more skills and members in the pack, the better.

Ok, and yes, I read it, very nice =)

I picked up the traveling to the forest's edge idea from Zaidel, but you guys don't actually have to follow Babey's directions if you don't want to.

Is traveling to the forest's edge what the group as a whole wants to do? Perhaps a bit more in group conversation can decide if you like, otherwise I'll just run with the idea and continue the story in that direction shortly.

The direction you are currently headed is east, the shortest distance to leaving the forest.

The border of the Kingdom of Al'Lamar is some distance to the northeast.

Northeast eh? Alrighty then, Joseph'd probably stick around at least until out of the forest.

Male Fae King Oracle 21(Elemental)/Druid 21

Maybe my logic plea will convince Joseph and the other to stick with us. We'll see.

VK and I think going to the Lady of the Wood is the best idea currently.

Ok, it sounds like after this current situation you guys will head to the Lady of the Wood for answers but if anyone wants to splinter off feel free.

Yasss,

Before I start stating it up, I plan on making an item(Uncle in fountain pen form) via the Living Item rules from the Four Horsemen line. It's basically a way to let one play an item as a PC. It's very much like an intelligent item, but it also includes a special full 20 level class that item takes levels in. This grants it all the basics of a class(HD, skills, BAB, saves, etc), plus a bunch of custom abilities tailored around the schools of magic and some spellcasting(divine or arcane, your choice)

Would it be alright if I did this? Also, I was hoping to get a forum buddy of mine on here, Doomed Hero, to play the item. Would that be alright? I figure it would lend a more interesting dynamic if somebody else played 'Uncle' as opposed to my talking to myself, lol.

I was in a hurry when I posted that, it's pretty much the same reaction. I imagine it's a lot weirder to see a human turn monstrous than it is to see an animal turn human. Which is why he didn't react to much to Vulture.

Yeah, it's all good. Have your friend check in here then he can post in gameplay. As far as arcane or divine just pick what you like. =)

There are a few special considerations for how combat is run in this game which I was going to post yesterday but then I got real busy lol. So we will resolve this combat as is but in the future this is how it works:

Initiative is done away with completely, instead I as the GM will declare when combat starts and from that point on everyone has 24 real time hours to post their actions, after which the antagonists will get a turn then the cycle goes again until the combat is resolved. Actions occur in the order they are posted.

This system does away with the rigid order of initiative which can be a serious drag in a PbP.

Cool, cool.

I'm having a bit of a problem with the Paizo website at the moment, I'm trying to get posts up but it's not working well so I might just end up trickling out posts depending on how it goes for a bit.

Pvp can be done in my games but only with the willing consent of all involved and in circumstances worked out ahead of time, i.e. how many rounds of prep, distances involved etc.

I also have a house rule regarding sparring, which is Pvp but without resource loss or death or permanent effects. It is a bit of an abstraction but essentially you can even use charges from items without actually losing them in the game and after the sparring match is complete both sides are restored to exactly how they were when they began.

Time for a PvP weed-bomb brawl. Winner is the last one not high. Or loser.

Well. Until Nameless is spotted, I'm not interested in PvP

And if he IS spotted... I say count it as a sparring, as he'll have no interest in killing anyone.

Hey!, I already spotted you, but chose not to say anything. Even said as much in game :)

I advise checking the hollow the Hydra emerged from if you are interested in shiny bits then we can change direction to the Lady of the Wood.

On another note, Paizo has stopped being a b!%%~@!&, at least for now....

I do like the goblins messing with a comp graphic though =D

However, that is also one of the saddest images around, based on what it represents.

Yasss,

I decided to use the Skill Unlock system, as Lir is very skill focused.

If it's alright with you, I would like him to have the unlocks for:

Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Perception, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth.

If that's too many, then I would narrow it to Bluff, Diplomacy, Perception and Sense Motive.

Male Fae King Oracle 21(Elemental)/Druid 21

Ya'll are cute with your little perception checks, lol.

Pretty sure my 58 has it covered lol

Haha! Yeah, still gotta try though, getting there first and all.

Until I'm spotted and someone calls me out on it then. No real difference. :P

Plus I'm not entirely sure if my Stealth Modifier is that low... I got a lot of stuff to add together when I get this sheet done...

Yeah go ahead. I love how powerful the Diplomacy one is, one of the only things that keeps Diplomacy in check (beyond the GM fiat allowed by the skill) is that it takes a minute to pull off. When it only takes one round....you're going to be making a lot of friends!

Essentially, when you are controlling it, the Origami Avatar has your mental stats, skills, feats, spellcasting ability, etc. It's death affects you not at all, simply causing you to awaken to your true self(though spell slots expended are still expended).

This construct is relatively cheap to make (as constructs go), requiring a Craft(origami) DC 25 check to make a small origami representation of yourself and a limited wish spell to turn it into an avatar.

Fire Drake I'm thinking it would be fun to use your stats as they are now as your normal state then have a temporary awesome home brew template that can be turned off and on to represent the Super Saiyan state.

If you are down we can work on it, what say you?

Super Saiyan Simple Template

The legendary Super Saiyan arises once every 1,000 years to torment the galaxy. It takes a warrior with a pure heart, awakened by rage, to achieve this exalted state, and once he does all fall before him.

Quick Rules:
+10 on all rolls (including damage rolls) and special ability DCs
+8 to AC(dodge bonus) and CMD
+10 hp/HD(temporary hit points).
+30ft to all relevant movement types.
Gains damage reduction 5/- or increases DR by a like amount.
+1 relevant resource point per hit-dice (Ki, etc.).
The Super Saiyan's golden aura sheds light equivalent to a torch.

You can ignore all this if you like, I'm just messing around right now for fun.

Ultra Super Saiyan Simple Template

Prerequisite: Previously achieved Super Saiyan state plus variable amount of training time (GM fiat)

The Ultra Super Saiyan is a result of a fighter learning to increase his power vastly while in the Super Saiyan state. While it greatly increases his strength and raw energy he becomes bulky and slow due to all his added muscle mass.

Quick Rules:
+10 on all rolls (+20 to damage rolls) and special ability DCs
+2 to AC(dodge bonus) and CMD
+15 hp/HD(temporary hit points).
Divide all relevant movement types by 1/2.
Gains damage reduction 5/- or increases DR by a like amount.
+2 relevant resource point per hit-dice (Ki, etc.).
The Super Saiyan's golden aura sheds light equivalent to a torch.

Super Saiyan(natural state) Simple Template

The Super Saiyan natural state occurs when intense training is undergone to learn to live within the Super Saiyan power up, gaining immense strength and control as the Super Saiyan becomes one with his legendary state.

Prerequisite: Previously achieved Super Saiyan state plus variable amount of training time (GM fiat)

Quick Rules:
+15 on all rolls (including damage rolls) and special ability DCs
+12 to AC(dodge bonus) and CMD
+15 hp/HD(temporary hit points).
+40ft to all relevant movement types.
Gains damage reduction 8/- or increases DR by a like amount.
+2 relevant resource point per hit-dice (Ki, etc.).
The Super Saiyan's golden aura no longer sheds light equivalent to a torch as his state has become relaxed and natural.

Super Saiyan 2 Simple Template

The level beyond Super Saiyan is a terrifying state(for enemies) that increases a Super Saiyan's power, strength, speed, etc. through the roof. Very few beings in the entire multiverse can stand against such a being.

Prerequisite: Previously achieved Super Saiyan(natural state) plus variable amount of training time (GM fiat)or a pure heart awakened by rage (again)

Quick Rules:
+20 on all rolls (including damage rolls) and special ability DCs
+16 to AC(dodge bonus) and CMD
+20 hp/HD(temporary hit points).
+70ft to all relevant movement types.
Gains damage reduction 10/- or increases DR by a like amount.
+3 relevant resource point per hit-dice (Ki, etc.).
The Super Saiyan's golden aura sheds light equivalent to a torch, in addition, veins of lightning run through the Super Saiyan's aura adding +1d6 electricity damage to all his unarmed or natural attacks, likewise dealing 1d6 electricity damage to those that strike him with an unarmed or natural attack or an attack with a metal weapon.

Super Saiyan 3 Simple Template

The level beyond Super Saiyan 2 is a terrifying state(for enemies?) that increases a Super Saiyan's power, strength, speed, etc. to the level that Demigods shrink in fear from him. At this point only true Deities and the occasional nearly omnipotent genie can stand against the Saiyan.

Prerequisite: Previously achieved Super Saiyan 2 plus variable amount of training time (GM fiat, at least 5 years)

Quick Rules:
+30 on all rolls (including damage rolls) and special ability DCs
+24 to AC(dodge bonus) and CMD
+30 hp/HD(temporary hit points).
+100ft to all relevant movement types.
Gains damage reduction 15/- or increases DR by a like amount.
+4 relevant resource point per hit-dice (Ki, etc.).

Finally the Saiyan's hair triples in length and his eyebrows disappear, this is a purely cosmetic effect.

I do wish posts can be edited after 1 hour... it's so frustrating.

So what's the knowledge check for Super Saiyan's? :P. Oh and the Super Saiyan upgrade where it basically becomes part of who you are, is known as Full Power Super Saiyan or Mastered Super Saiyan. Either way, can't wait to see Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct!

Oh and Yass, just so you know. I have permanent, extraordinary True Sight active at all times, and I automatically make perception checks to notice any traps or magical auras within 10ft of me.

Have to admit, I'm honestly impressed by Artemis P's RPing focus. It takes a very bold and dedicated person to play a level 3 characters in a world of level 20 gestalts!

And The Nameless Warrior. Who has yet to reach his full form.

Alright, feel free to use them, or make your own if you want the templates to be more advanced.

Yeah, I'm thinking you start at Super Saiyan then level up with montages, too.

I'm tired tonight so I'm not going to post in gameplay till tomorrow but then we will move on to the Lady of the Forest, so RP with each other if you like tonight and I'll see you all tomorrow.
