I am thinking about a rogue or possibly rogue/cleric into gray warden prestige class. I will be doing some homework tonight.

Nice! I thought about that prestige for Thesk before Divine Trickster became available.

May want to check out the Inquisitor class. Has a bunch of cool stuff to it and stacks tightly with GW.

What are rules on traits? 2 traits? 3 traits with drawback?

I am thinking about starting out with Trapper variant of Ranger for 2-3 levels. Then some sort of rogue.

The good news is that at least one of them reccomends taking toughness a 1st level as your best initial feat option.

There's a fair amount of reading, but you will come out WAY more educated on building a good wizard, Harry.
