Kirian gasps for a moment, catching his breath.
"Peren, we need that healing potion you found, quickly."

"We need to give the potion to Rolen before he dies. If I'm remembering right, that spider poison should wear off Habbi in about an hour."

Yeah it was the poison that dropped you to 0HP. The poison reads If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way. So, I interpret that to mean, even at 0HP you are stable but paralyzed for 1 hour.
Kirian cooks the last spider in its own juices. Everyone gets 50XP...I think this means you all level up right?
Healing Potion: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 4) + 2 = 8
Rolen splutters into consciousness.

I've got total XP at 300 now, which puts us at level 2. Huzzah!
Kirian sits watch over Habbi and Rolen, trying to ignore the smell of cooked spiders in the corner. As he rests, meditates and studies his spellbook, he feels different -- decisions become clearer to him, his spell recollection improves, and he feels a bit heartier.
Level 2 HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
I'm still mulling over Kirian's Arcane Tradition - it's down to Abjuration vs. Enchantment.

School of Abjuration it is! Kirian adds Shield to his prepared spells and gains Arcane Ward, which will add an additional 8HP when he next casts an abjuration spell.

That is funky. Sounds cool to me, though, I will have to take my short rest after the hour of being poisoned, correct?

Gained channel divinity (turn undead, and preserve life) and picked up detect magic and can cast it as a ritual.
EDIT: As he lay there, paralyzed, Habbi runs through prayers in his head. Over and over, he begins to understand the wisdom of Al'Asran and feels closer to his god.

Kirian continues to keep watch over Habbi and Rolen, waiting for one of them to awaken. He pulls out one of the books he found the previous day, The Magical Properties of Herbs and Flowers and peruses the pages.

+7 HP, Gained Action Surge and I am have been so out of it I have been forgetting Second Wind so I am going to actually get gud at fighting now, lol.
Rolen sits up, again, with a look of consternation on his face as he rubs his head, I haven't been unconscious this much since training. I'm not enjoying it.

Kirian packs up his gear.
"Well, we probably have more spiders to kill."

He starts to walk down the hall to the far East end of the house, checking the floorboards along the way with his quarterstaff.

Kirian stays in the doorway, careful to avoid the missing floorboards. He casts a Mage Hand to open the cupboard slowly and examine its contents, hoping that nothing will jump out at him.
"If it's all the same to everyone, I think I'll leave the fireplace alone this time."

Peren opens the cupboard to reveal two items: a pair of old, cracked leather boots, and a dirty, ragged, stained cloak hanging on a peg.

Habbi moves gingerly into the room, taking care to avoid the missing floorboards and approaches the chimney. "Take care, folks. Be ready, in case more nasty critters come out of here."
Casting a quick light orison on his mace, the cleric looks back to his companions and makes sure that they are ready before shoving his mace up the chimney!

Habbi smiles sheepishly and sits down, crosslegged in the hall and whispers prayers over and over for about 10 minutes.
The cleric's eyes flutter open and he looks around to see if he can find any magic around...

Kirian walks to the back section of the house, checking floorboards along the way. He walks down the hallway, past the two doors on the right and carefully peers around the corner.

Habbi destroys the Mold Everyone gets 50XP and then.
Kirian walks to the end of the hall and peers around the corner.
Area 18
Along the north wall of this area a staircase descends to ground floor of the rear of the house. The treads appear to be insecure.
Another staircase along the east wall climbs to the upper level. This has mostly collapsed -- only the lowest six steps are still intact and there is no easy access to the hole in the ceiling to where the staircase used to lead. A heap of rotten timber lies in the northeast corner.
Closer examination of the staircase down to the kitchen reveals that a few of the treads are missing. These stairs are, however, passable with difficulty, whereas the party will have to find other ways of ascending to the attic if they wish to do so.
room are three wooden chairs, all broken, two splintered wooden buckets and a mildewed sack.
