I'll get something up tonight then. Sorry about the delay, I had wanted to clarify that before I started posting. Then yesterday was my b-day so I was a little busy. :)

Hp is half plus 1?
+1 Strength
+1 base attack
+1 fortitude and reflex
8 skill points: 1 climb, 1 intimidate, 1 linguistics- Tien, 1 knowledge- nature, 1 perception, 1 stealth, 1 survival, 1 swim
Fast tracker
2nd favored terrain
1 2nd level spell slotMy question is what I should take for favored terrain; cold would make sense, but not be useful once we're out of here. Forest might be good, but doesn't make sense narratively. Urban might work, since we spent a lot of time in Kalsgard, but I don't see Pavel as a city guy.
Pavel, your sheet seems to still show level 7. Did I miss something?
Javell DeLeon
HA! I was wondering who Ogre was. I thought it was a nickname of some combat type trainer. Heck, I never even knew you had a horse.
Just disregard my post then. It totally doesn't make any sense now. It obviously would be far more understandable if it was a humanoid.
Daeron Lareththor
My sheet is also updated. I did some napkin math and it looks like I won't be able to afford much in the way of the more expensive scrolls. I think I'll probably just make 2 level 2 scrolls (invisibility x 2) and 4 level 1 scrolls (silent image x4) which costs 250gp.
If I can take 2250gp from the total gold (assuming we can sell everything) that should let me upgrade my cloak. It'd also leave enough for Garand and Pavel to take some and bring us all about to Akulayok's level. Keep in mind I can craft wondrous items, so let me know if you want something crafted. :)
Do you need anything else from me for now, DW? Aside from some possible magic item crafting and resolving the inquiry, I'm all set.

Sadly I don't have the means to cast scrying and neither can Garand (1 more level. :) ) I'm torn between it being an inside job and the Frozen Shadows. We could try and do some more footwork and maybe have our resident diplomats try to ask some questions. Maybe there was a hunter gone in the time frame the eggs were smashed?
Raith Shadar
We have no indication the Frozen Shadows have followed us to this point. This seems far more like a power play by Tunuaq to maintain control over the tribe. He smashes the eggs, makes the dragon angry causing it to attack the people, then blames the newcomers who he thinks will die against the dragon. Now that we've returned, Tunuaq is afraid.
He might try to kill us again. Or he might let everything lie until we leave. Hard to say. From the hints CB is dropping, he seems like a real bastard.
Tunuaq could be some long lived Oni that's been controlling this tribe for a while. Or he may have been contacted by some long lived oni. He seems to be at the heart of the conflict.
Hard to know the specifics. If we can't figure out who used the club, we're stumped.

So divination is precognitive and we need something post-cognitive. Damn. I still think that bastard Tunuaq did this. I don't have a way to catch him.
That's why I asked how our investigation into the club would turn out, not 'whose club is this.' It was a question about the future, not the past.
But if it don't work, it don't work. All I can do is follow the rules and make the best choices I can make.

Sorry Set, I missed the nuance. I'll update it.

Damn, Garand. All those 1s, 2s, and 3s. Ouch.
I should have proposed the plan for others to approve / discuss before starting off on making rolls. I'll try to restrain myself before making any more hasty decisions / terrible rolls that could mess up the AP for everyone.
Also, must remember to say 'I take 10, if possible' before every die roll. :)
(Which I remembered only after seeing the rolls, this time.)

Messing up the AP can be pretty fun sometimes. Btw, you don't have to find the culprit(s) for things to unfold. I have stuff that also depends on time, like childbirth for example.
I was wondering about that. I thought she was only a month or two along when she announced it, and we've got three months here, but I'm less clear on how much time passed between us finding out about it and reaching this place. My impression was that she was going to be six months or so along when we left, but the recent description of her belly preceding her makes it sound like she's further along than that already...

Just a thought if any of you are looking for additional games. The Kingmaker game I'm playing in may be opening recruitment soon with an eye towards 1-2 ranged and/or divine characters.
It's been a blast so far with things shaping up to be politically charged. The group elects a leader (currently me) and our relations with Brevoy and Restov have been good so far but there's a real chance of shakiness in the future. It's been a blast so far, though with a potential for 13 total people, it does get a little crazy. Keep an eye on the recruitment thread if you're interested. :)

Daaaaaaang! Oh my gosh, how in the world is that working out for you?! And I'm serious when I ask that.
Have you guys had combat yet? I'd be interested to see how that plays out.
On the plus side, I believe you've got a pc available for every position for your eventual kingdom. Which, that's actually kinda cool.
Rikash
Seems to be working out just fine. Most of our big combat's have been occuring when the group is split up (groups of 4-6), but we've done a couple big ones together that took some time. Namely when we stormed the Stag Lord's fort and when we ambushed some of their bandits/fought some skeletons under the fort. It did take a while, but we managed to keep up a decent clip.
The most time consuming thing has been talking to each other and deciding on a course of action, actually. We've had to be a little autocratic with our decision making. We elect our leader and then when brainstorming ideas we do a mix of in and out of character talking to speed up the process. Generally the leader proposes a course of action and it gets picked apart a bit before we settle on something modified.
It's been a blast and there are some very cool stuff that could potentially happen. Many of the 'loudest' are noble born and have some familial ties to Brevoy. So there's that political angle, plus how the actual charter to found a kingdom is being played out. It's been a blast. One of the cooler things is the ability to have PC organizations (Mage's guild) where there are multiple PCs involved.
If you have the time, definitely check it out. That you're playing in one already isn't an issue as I know there are at least a few (myself included) who have either played or DM'd the game before. The GM has been good about changing things up a bit to keep it all fresh.

Set has been missing a long while now. This is a great loss. I would prefer not to recruit for now, keeping a party of four. I'm still hoping he returns in the near future.
Garand will become an NPC, taking a more active role in the community and caravan, but less active in the party and battles.
Please let me know if that works for you.
Daeron Lareththor
Sadly I think that makes sense. I'm hoping things are going ok for him, since he'd been good about letting us know if he was going to be busy. I assume you've PM'd him, DW?
I think we can survive with my out of combat healing and maybe a few potions for the time being. Eventually we may want to get a higher quality wand for more emergency healing, though.

Sorry for the abrupt disappearance. I got busy with stuff and travel and by the time I had the opportunity, I just sort of failed to take the two seconds it would have taken to post or PM or email a heads-up to you guys! Very much my bad.
I won't be back for months and months, if at all. (No huge drama meant there, I've just got stuff going on and it's eating up my focus and spare time, and I've 'moved on' I guess. 'Dear John, it's not you, it's me.' or whatever horribly unsatisfying cliché non-explanation.)
I wish you guys all the fun and success and adventure and by-the-skin-of-your-teeth victories there are to be had! Thanks for having me, and for the freedom to make changes (like from Druid to Cleric!) to make things more satisfying for me, I hugely appreciate the... um, I'm sure three's a word for it... open-minded? Laissez-faire? Whatever, thanks for that!

Hey, DW, I was thinking: Maybe I should switch Theoden to all Paladin levels. I'm thinking it would be more beneficial. My channel energy would go up from 2d6 to 4d6.
I'd have to replace my Ride-by-Attack feat for another. I chose it because I got the Mounted Combat feat for free as a Cavalier. So to replace that feat(the Ride-by-Attack feat), I'd either take Extra Lay on hands or Extra Channel.
Anyway, just a thought. I'd be keen with it if it's cool with you.
Let me know. No worries if not. Just thought I'd throw it out there as an option.
