It could have been your enemy had you murderhoboed your way through the adventure. The description of it though lists it's primary motivation as curious. In our game it attempted to communicate with the party by way of telepathic illusions. Since its thoughts were so alien though it used detect thoughts to pull the images from the party's minds (all except Durvak who made the save).

It was a fun game guys! Lemme know if there are any problems, questions, etc... in relation to the game or your sheets. Otherwise....
Stay thirsty my friends!
I'll leave the game 'active' until everyone checks in once.

I like Durvak's use of language.
I do have a spot open in a CORE group of Giantslayer (2 to 4th level) if any one is interested.
Just a little bit busy just now to dedicate the time, but thanks for the offer.

I do hope I did the man (Nigel) justice. It can be weird running into the same character being played by different GMs. It's like one of those Dick York/Dick Sargent situations.

Thank you for the fun game everyone.
It was good to finally get in one of your games GM. I've seen your name on the boards and not had the opportunity to join before. Thank you for GMing!
See you all around! :)

Theodic, with work such as it is right now, I don't have time to commit to another game. Thanks for the invite though.
Most interesting GM, Chornicle received. Thanks for running! I hope to climb under...I mean join you again sometime. :-)

Thanks but that is not the intent of the question.
If I buy it and add it to my character via Herolab so I get to put things in there or is is a static magic item ? Would it be the same say for a Quiver of Ehlonna?

It's treated as a container the same way a regular backpack is. Both it and the quiver show up as options alongside 'carried by hero' and 'dropped on ground'.
