Results:

Risen Fate takes a Bruise and is Dazed (single action) for a round from Man-Drake's vicious slam attack. RF is also thrown so hard as to leave a man-shaped dent in the TITANIUM wall. You get the feeling that you would have kept flying for a long time if the wall hadn't been there.

As Risen Fate shakes off the last of the effects of the LSD and Sleep Gas, the chemicals from the two gases mix in an unexpected way! The floor of Sinh's Lab transmute into a dark and ponderous metal alloy. The entire fortress shudders as the now ponderously heavy floor crushes both bottom floors of the tower!!!

The entire Fortress is now listing to one side at the added weight...

A cheery computerized voice pipes over the intercom, Hello and welcome to another innovative Starwave Vista controlled vehicle. I am Scrappy, your automated pilot. Please keep your arms, tentacles and other appendages inside the <ERROR 404> at all times! Should you have any questions, comments, or snide remarks please save them until after the emergency is over...and contact the nearest Starwave Enterprise's branch office. Emergency rations will be provided by the stewardess...provided she survives.

Hello? Holy Rock and Luck Brat? Mistress said I was supposed to help you...and now I'm talking to myself.

Bizz notices the jury-rigged freezer in the corner.

Interesting, I wonder if this contains anything valuable? Perhaps some frozen lava toads?

As Bizz climbs inside, he slips and the freezer door slams shut on him.

Curses! I'll have to find another way out. But first.... A few muttered incantations latter, a spark of red light flares to life in his palm...revealing Lord Tarwin's ghoul bitten body.

Let's see here. Nope no wallet. Hmmm maybe something in the lining of his pajamas...AHA! Looks like they missed-

Tarwin sits up.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Y-y-you're supposed to be...

*CRASH*

The ceiling falls, hitting the freezer at just the right angle to send it flying through the side wall of the tower...

...and into empty air. The freezer tumbles erratically , it's lid crushed shut around it's two passengers.

Bizz concentrates for all he's worth to contact Wild Fire telepathically, Mistress, help! I'm falling in a faulty freezer with a frozen freak! For the love of falafels WHAT DO I DO?!

Seeing as decorating the walls with outlines of himself is not helping the situation, and feeling like he is definitely going to feel all of this in the morning, Baker looks around to quickly try and gauge what might be of some use to him in the room.

How many different tanks, vats, or other implements of storage are there that are holding random and assorted fluids around the room (preferably over or right near man-drake)?

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

There are three brightly colored alchemical storage vats above the tar pit. Man-Drake is currently standing right underneath the main feed lines (think large pipes) to said tanks. Rupturing one or more would shower Man-Drake in the fluid(s). I would need an appropriate skill check to attempt to identify the fluid's contents or effects. Given the experimental nature of the fluids the DC will be high.

The cryogenic chambers each contain enough liquid nitrogen to freeze a horse solid if one was destroyed and the target was adjacent. Man-Drake is about 45 feet from the Cryo-Chambers and is larger than a horse...it might slow him down but not much more.

There is an alchemy station near the wall opposite of the cryo chambers that contains many small vials of strange fluids. While many might be harmful if applied correctly, only someone with knowledge of alchemical applications could correctly mix them to create a weapon powerful enough to harm the Man-Drake. You would get limited quantities as well.

Man-Drake is standing only 10 feet from the large boiling tar pit, but he has demonstrated that it does not harm him at all, possibly even provides a rejuvenating effect to the boiled cabbage monster.

As Risen Fate desperately searches the room for any advantage against this plant abomination, the last of the tar falls away from Man-Drake revealing a large leathery set of wings!

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

The three colors of the alchemical liquids inside of the vats are Orange, Purple, and Green.

Android

What color is the man-drake?

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

Man-Drake is the color of boiled cabbage. Almost as if all three colors were used in his creation in carefully balanced amounts and then boiled.

I was never great at chemistry, but I wonder what happens if I mix a bunch of random chemicals and throw them at a plant... I was never good at gardening...

While looking around, Baker taps his earpiece.

For anyone listening, we've got Sinh who doesn't seem like Sinh, and I'm battling the worst garden blight in history. He hits like a truck. Rabbi is down and I'm taking a beating. I can probably hold him off Rabbi for a bit longer, but I've got no real plan other than mix a bunch of bad chemicals and see what happens. If you guys aren't busy, the Rabbi might need an evac, and I might need a med kit...

Petra continues her search for her brother, trying to spot him while flying around the courtyard.

Those monsters have Xavier. I can't lose him again! Not again!

Unwanted, images of her village being razed to the ground spring into her mind, the cloaked figure of Xavier's "doctor" at the forefront of the monstrous ghoul army that came and destroyed her life..and his.

Finding nothing, she moves down into the maze-like corridors of the lower keep that she knows well...too well.

XAVIER!

I shouldn't be giving away my position but I MUST find him! Come on Xavier, give me a sign. Anything! Unless those monsters are preventing him from speaking? I hate these...power users...all the power does is turn people into monsters. Nothing good can come of them. I just want us to go back to how this once were.

Nice.
Let's see if we can cause some damage, or a distraction, or...something.
Risen Fate warps the strands of probability around himself, refocusing them away from keeping him out of harms way, and allowing them to increase his focus, concentration, and visual acuity.

With his vision and reaction times sharpened, Risen Fate takes a careful moment to concentrate and pinpoint what could be weak spots on the pipes above the Man-Drake, attempting to burst them in a showery mix of alchemical fluid by warping the strands of luck tied to those pipes.

Need to make sure these connect solidly, so I'm going to power attack with these, since they're stationary; I should hit just fine...hopefully.

Risen Fate concentrates and the pipes above the Mand-Drake become plugged! They swell rapidly crushing nearby piping until one bursts with Force, Piercing the other alchemical feed lines with orange Fire.

Orange, Green, and Purple fluids drench the Man-Drake each having different effects. The Purple fluid coagulates into gooey strands, immobilizing the monster. Orange fluid burns the abomination with distilled Fire Essence. The green fluid begins to cause abnormal fungal growths that distort the man-Drake's appearance resulting in a -2 on all checks. The feed lines are now empty of fluid. The containers above the tar pit still contain a couple doses.

What have you done! Man-Drake, finish him! I have no time for interruptions! Behind the darkened glass of his Armored Laboratory, Lord Sinh is frantically manipulating his controls. An audible hum can be felt throughout the complex.

Hey Timeli...Oh yeah, no comms.

I hope everyone is ok.

I turn to fly quickly out of the room I'm in and back up to the courtyard and head into the castle.

Is there anyone around or is there a nice trail of destruction that I can follow? Got a check for which way to go? Do I hear anything/anyone? Is there enough around that I can track movement through the castle?

I try the telepathic connection Bizz used to talk to me earlier seeing as I technically don't know he's safe. Down comms and all.

Also, that means I technically would have not been able to talk to Timeline above when he tried to tell me he needed help. Granted, we had talked about our next actions prior in this encounter so my actions are based off those earlier conversations. FYI.

Bizz, you still alright? You've been awfully quiet.

The tower where Joe and Risen Fate were to explore and find Lord Sinh...is two stories shorter. and it's bottom level appears to be made of something heavy. It is causing the entire flying fortress to lean to one side.

Yea, I'm here. Flyboy got me out but we lost the ninja. Hold on.

A couple seconds later, Bizz steps out of thin air next to you.

Telepathy makes my head hurt if I use it too long. I have no idea how pit lords use it all the time. Ok so can we escape now? We've destroyed a ton of this base of his and I'm sure the tower falling was enough to kill him...

He looks at you with hopeful cowardly little beady eyes.

I have no idea where Mr. Congeniality went, but I'm pretty sure Luck Lad and the Thing were in that top tower. Something serious probably went down if the state of that tower is any indication. I think I saw an opening near the bottom that we might be able to enter that room through.

He points out a jagged tear in the outer walls of the tower.

Guess Timeline is going to have to deal being on his own.

Then let's go. No matter what happens, do not run away. Just stay close to me. I get a stern look on my face and start to in a hurried manner fly towards the tower and through the opening.

What do I see heading up through the tower?

Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]

Look like everyone is converging on the tower. Sinh delayed his turn so he is now on the same initiative as Man Drake. This should help keep the fight simple.

Initiative:

Man Drake - 19
Risen Fate - 18
Timeline - 17
"Lord Sinh" - 11
Joe - 9
Wild Fire - 4

Man Drake takes a moment to recover (his turn for last round) and attempts to break his immobilizing bonds!

STR Check: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 14 - 2 = 17 DC 22

Man Drake roars in frustration!

"Lord Sinh" addresses the heroes: Simpletons! Meddlers! You cannot even follow simple instructions! And now your dear companion will pay...the ULTIMATE price for your incompetence! You can't stop me! My hovership is protected from even your teleportation tech, Dr. Nile! No one can stop me!

The armored room Sinh is standing in ejects through the tower ceiling and sprouts hoverjets! It is completely enclosed and about size large. The underside mounted Laser Cannon aims at the furthest Cryo-Pod. Archy must be inside the fifth pod! He is out of actions this round or he would have opened fire on the cryo pod.

Ok it is your turn guys.

Wild Fire sees the door to the inner chamber (where RF and Joe are currently) has been destroyed in the fall and reveals the scene above.

Timeline ports into the tower room and summons a tank around himself and Joe.

Bizz: LIKE HELL I DON'T! I HAVE A FIGURE TO MAINTAIN YOU KNOW!

With that, Bizz pokes "Lord Sinh" in the eyes and begins to hit every every switch, key, and lever he can find in the cockpit.

"Lord Sinh" takes a Bruise and is Staggered for the rest of combat.

The laser cannon begins to switch targets randomly!

Risen Fate is able to hack the cryo-pod's security with ease.

Risen Fate:
Now that you have seen the programming language up close, you realize you've seen this tech before! It's HammerTech. Makes you wonder how "Lord Sinh" got it...

Archy is sleeping peacefully inside the pod, bereft of both slippers but otherwise unharmed. You are able to easily lift him over one shoulder in this round as well (if you so wish).

Timeline fires the cannon, the round detonating prematurely. The hovercraft's cannon is singed but unhindered. hovercraft takes a Bruise. Object's have to fail by 2 degrees to break. You were close but it has a good Toughness.

Timeline:
Joe appears (as far as you know he IS a rock) physically uninjured, judging by his expression he is hallucinating vividly.

Wild Fire uses Timeline's shot as a distraction to catch the hovercraft in a crossfire. The aft engine explodes sending "Lord Sinh" into a spiraling, out of control turn! The craft crashes into the back of the museum building, scattering shrapnel everywhere. You can spot the limp form of "Sinh" mostly buried under debris.

Bizzniche flies back to Wild Fire, holding one of his arms tenderly. Hovercraft breaks because it failed by 3 degrees. It only failed by 3 because of Timeline's attack. Bizz takes a Bruise from the explosion. He got lucky.

Start of next round...

The ooze holding Man-Drake turns brittle and he rips free of it's grip at last...but that's his turn.

Your guys turn.

After lifting Archy out of the pod, Baker notices the Man-drake breaking free.

Uh-oh, the potted plant is on the loose again. We've gotta get Archy out of here. Timeline, do you have teleport capability yet?

I want to wait for an answer before posting the rest of my actions. Hefting Archy was last turn.

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

For Clarification: The hoverjet itself was immune to teleportation attacks, it did NOT shut down Timeline's powers completely. Barring other complications I might have forgotten, he should have full use of his powers.

Sorry Bizz...WOAH! What's that thing?!

Man-Drake's movement catches my attention.

Calling over to Baker: I can keep man-thing over here busy! I want to see how quickly he burns. Smirking madly I reposition my hands at Man-Drake.

Timeline using turn about teleports grabs Archy and ports him into the safety of the tank.
I got you Archy ol pal!

Android

Good! Archy is on his way to safety, let's see if I can't get a good hit on that walking shrubbery!

Hey plant man! Looks like you took a nasty fall out of the ugly tree when you were younger and hit every branch on the way down!

Baker stops and scratches his head for a second,

No, my mistake, I think you are the ugly tree. Your face doesn't leaf much to the imagination.

DM Only:

Man-Drake is banished to hell. The End.

The heroes sense the battle is coming to an end as both Wild Fire and Risen Fate focusing their energies on the plant aberration known as The Man-Drake!

The creature is slowly pushed backwards as Wild Fire's flames ignite some of the more exotic alchemical substances the creature is made of and with a soul-renching scream the creature is banished to the Nine Hells!

Only a smoldering scar remains where the creature once stood smelling faintly of brimstone...

RF's damage type for his random damage ability was "Infernal".

***

In the rubble behind the heroes, a weak moan can be heard coming from the crashed remnants of the hover-ship.

Joe:
Your head begins to clear as the sparse oxygen atmosphere and the whipping winds dissipate the gaseous LSD concoction. You are once again up and able.

I fly over to Baker and hover near him with a smirk. I gather you're fine from your usual puns?

A bit sore. I've heard of a green thumb, but that thing packed a black and blue wallop! Not really sure what happened to it, but i'm glad he's not here!

Timeline drops the tank and gives Archy a look over to see how hes doing.
treatment: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Were good here...But im still worried about the kid, Wildfire and Joe you should go check on him he seemed to like Wildfire you probably remind him of his sister and Joe can translate, also we should probably see about landing this fortress before we all die. Also Joe if you could talk some sense into the crazed Petra that would be great. That last part totally meant to sound like Bill Lumbergh the boss from office space.
Timeline gives Wildfire and Joe directions to the boy and the huge pile of gold. Then he begins looking for the controls of the fortress.
Fate you should come with me in case I need a hand with these controls, if we put our heads together we might just pull this off.
