Akina was a temple rat so I'm pretty sure her and Anapa have crossed paths at some time.


Will quickly do a small history so when im at my pc again I can expand and give you guys/gals time to see how we can fit together


Anapa was a cleric in a small oasis settlement. He did his duties best he could. Helped those in need. Devout. Prayed every evening. Nothing out of the ordinary. The village was small and unremarkable. Nothing overly exciting happened there. Untill one night, very late, Anapa was outside, tending to a small child who almost drowned. One of the last things he remembers, is looking up at the great dunes, he swore he saw the Jackal god. It felt like he looked directly at him. Then the sand burst open and undead attacked...

When he woke up, the first thing he saw was a great statue of Anubis. Towering over him. Then he noticed the changes. He was not human. He was... something else. He resembled one of the holy warriors of the great Anubis himself.

What looked like a priest approached him, he head bowed down as he got near
The great one has sent you to us, he said you are not done serving him, you served him in life diligently, he has rewarded you so you may serve him again...

After that he spent the next few years training at the temple, learning the laws, learning his new life and the life Anubis want him to live.


All these groups could be good.

I suggest the last partymember be a full arcane caster. We really need the magical support.

Bloodrager spell list is mostly selfish.

We have quite some front liners with the fighter, paladin, bloodrager and monk. Perhaps it would be wise to change one to a more ranged type, spellcaster or other support.


How is elemental group coming along?
We have a swashbuckler, a monk, a rogue, a sorcerer and an oracle.
What else do we want, need? And even if oracle is no healer, he can use a clw wands and help a bit with the healing in the beginning or?

Oracles get Cure Light Wounds as a bonus spell, unless you go for the Inflict line of spells - which is a terrible line of spells for PCs to be honest. I can always turn my Undine Sorcerer into a cleric, druid or shaman to fill the support role a bit more. The fifth can then play an arcane caster? :)

Hmmm I could see that, Mak'e Ral adopting an Osirian god to 'fit' in. And Sobek certainly fits. As far as how he came to meet the group, maybe something like was planning to 'browse' a temple for it's wealth and foiled a thief who was making off with a statue of Anubis, and met Anapa. And decided to 'stick close' for the protection of the big guy, and roll with his perceived heroics.

Edit: I have a void wizard in a starting rotrl campaign (not even at first encounter) which is a fun character. However the GM is gone dark for the second time in 2 weeks :/. Might use him here. Would be a better addition. I am not up for using the same character in two games though. That gets confusing and a little boring ;).

What kind of spells does he plan to take? I ask because I see a lot of abyssal sorcerers that build like a bruiser after some self buffs :P. The bloodline has a lot of leeway for it with the claws, str bonusses etc.

The void wizard I mentioned is very much a battlefield controller and utilities, which is something this group could use.


I present Ali ibn Sabbah. Barbarian turned Rogue, tomb raider... good hearted and dangerously curious. Mechanically, Barbarian 25%/Rogue (Trapsmith) 75%.

Son of a Sheban nomad chieftain, Ali was not the strong and hearty heir his father had hoped for. He had too much of his mother in him. A hopeless romantic who wanted nothing more that to "believe"! With grace and charm to spare, Ali struck out on his own.

In a larger city his grace, charm and intelligence would allow him to thrive. Before he knew it, he was a member of a local network of young thieves claiming a right to survival. Pick pockets and spies, they weren't the violent cut-throat types... but shrewd old souls.

Escape meant leaving home and traveling, eventually to Greece. He stumbled upon a merchant conglomerate (or they stumbled upon him, the account is unclear) who instantly identified his potential and inducted him. He was very young and ran all manner of errand and did all manner of chore the older more tenured members did not care for. They did not ask him or tell him too, he just did and ingratiated himself.

Proving himself, he's been assigned missions as part of his experience, training and development... finally returning "home", only to find the docks occupied and the merchant fleet burnt to the ground. In seeking answers and evading occupying forces, he's come to find himself at the Temple of Hera and so, the adventure begins.

Background was written as an intro for another adventure. Just saw this thread. Thought it was interest only.

Would you have any objection to house ruling a sorcercer bloodline power?

Not much more than fluff and RP. I would like to replace the 1st level bloodline power with the 1st level wizard teleportation subschool power.

This ray deals 1d4 points of damage + 1 for every two sorcerer levels you possess. This damage is treated as a spell of a level equal to half your sorcerer level, and is a force effect. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. This bloodline power replaces arcane bond.

replace with:

Shift (Su): At 1st level, you can teleport to a nearby space as a swift action as if using dimension door. This movement does not provoke an attack of opportunity. You must be able to see the space that you are moving into. You cannot take other creatures with you when you use this ability (except for familiars). You can move 5 feet for every two wizard levels you possess (minimum 5 feet). You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

Character is a tiefling and it fits the flavor of the character, alas none of the sorcerer bloodlines have anthing similar. Can't see how this would be out of balance with the existing power, but it would have to be DM'd discretion. Thank you

Hello this is Gin's player. As far as the spell build goes I've got.

Light, Acid splash, ghost sound, Prestidigitation, Icicle daggers and mage armor.

He's support and dps, so he'll be buffing people, reserving eagle's splendor for himself in later levels.


And I would use the word pester, as opposed to poke.

Just imagine the look on his face. Trying to run off with a anubian statue and literally running into a paladin...


@ Helikon and the other elemental bro's.

I rolled up an Undine cleric of Nethys, the Grand Advocate of Magick. He'll be the support type with buffs, knowledge skills and what not. Sadly the Undine -2 str makes it impossible for him to be a support melee character :)

With scribe scroll and 3 channels a day, he should also be good on the healing side!


Im thinking of maybe taking extra LoH for my paladin later. If we have a cleric, he can use his LoH to keep himself up and fighting while cleric keeps rest up. Aka Tank build. But thats much later.
Ps. I usually plan characters up to 5-6 levels ahead... :P

I am here, just not too sure how to "meet" you guys, in all likelyhood it would be something as simple as bumping into you on the road XD sense thats where ryuu spends most of his time.

Darius would have met the others in downtime. He came into the temple bearing great wounds for he just defeated a whole bunch of gnolls single handedly trying to find an artifact he wanted. You guys hit it off and he thought joining a group would be usefull for healing and magical purposes. Hell, he might even learn a trick or two from the sorcerer.
