"And that's the rub, I thought I already had overcome it. So how do you defeat something that apparently can't be defeated?"
Rajni
She thinks for a moment, "Well...the town isn't that big, even though it's growing almost every day it seems like...so the possibility of you running into someone you don't want to is pretty good. If you want I can send Shamara with you. She's trained and will make sure no one that you don't want around bothers you. I mean...I know she's not huge or anything..but she can still bite ankles."
Tesia Stormbringer
Smiling she takes out a gold and hands it to the stable boy, "Thank you so much for taking such good care of him while I've been away. If you'll show me where his saddle and stuff is being kept I can saddle him up myself."
Drago Zakharov
"You sound like you speak from experience," Drago remarked.
GM Henry Fortuna
The captain, a man with a harsh face which spoke of his experience, looks at Arista and then at the chest of gold briefly. He clenches his pipe between his teeth "Dark dwarves you say? I suppose I've dealt with worse. Your words move me, lass, but I must resupply before I go anywhere and have a word with my crew about this job. Don't worry about water, ale or food. That chest ought to cover my expenses and then some. I'll be ready to sail with the tide tomorrow. On my honor, your friends will make it wherever they please."

Alright I get the message.
The Black Cat arrived at Hadrinn's about a quarter to midday. Entering the establishment, he keen senses quickly spotted Sādhanā and her companions. Excellent choice for a meeting place. If one were inclined to make trouble, this would be a good way to make one think twice. Spotting the Dwarf running back and forth from the kitchen. Noting his stride, his thoughts continued, And a warrior of the Stout-folk. Indeed, a fine meeting place. Adjusting his shield, he casually and cautiously approached the table.
"Pardon my early arrival, but may I perhaps sit with you?" He asked the Magus.

A look of relief crosses her face as she grips the Captain's hand with her own, "Oh thank you thank you thank you...you have no idea just how much trouble you saved me from getting into. I appreciate it so much. I just need to go to Priroda and let whoever is wanting to go back with them to know to be down here and ready to go at that time. Again, you could never possibly understand how much this means to me, or how much I appreciate it. If there is anything that you need, just let me know." With that she bids him farewell and heads off to the stables to hitch up a team of horses to the wagon that man let her borrow so she doesn't have to walk to the encampment and little farming community.
She sets Celine on a wooden stool in the stables and tells her to stay put while she hitches up the team. Going to the pens she takes out Star and Azlan and starts getting them hitched up to the wagon. She would need to hurry so she could be back in time to fix dinner, though if worse came to worse they could always go out to Hadrinn's to eat couldn't they? She brushes down the horses quickly and gets them hitched up and ready to leave.

Hmm, quite the curious one this Lovecraft. Drago thought just before his stomach rumbled. "And that's my queue to leave. Thanks for the talk Sir Lovecraft, perhaps we shall have another in the near future." The Dhampir extended his hand toward the Paladin.
Arista Milocathe
Stopping the wagon near them she gets out of the drivers seat before lifting Celine and holding onto her she approaches them, "Excuse me...but do you know if you have anyone in charge of things around here that I can talk to?"
Tesia Stormbringer
She nods her thanks before putting a lead rope on Blaze and leading him out of the stables. Once they're away from the other horses she takes the rope off of him, but he continues to follow her to the barn. He waits outside while she goes in and gets her saddle blanket, saddle, bit and bridle. Back outside it takes her very little time to get him saddled up. Making sure everything is properly secured she vaults onto his back before reaching her hand down to help her wife up, "Ready to go?"
Arista Milocathe
Right...I forgot.
Clearly forgetting that they only spoke and understood Dwarven she tries again, "Мне очень жаль беспокоить вас, но там кто-то отвечал здесь, что я могу говорить с? Это очень важно."
Arista Milocathe
She nods, "Я вижу .... то есть ли способ я могу получить большинство из вас вместе в одном месте, так что я могу говорить с вами все о чем-то? Это .... это про Daphine и Гарт."
Arista Milocathe
She takes a deep breath, "Хорошо ...

All but a handful of the refugees raise their hands.

Rajni goes through the bag, most of the contents are coins and jewels worth quite a bit of money. Towards the bottom, she finds a porcelain doll with bright blue eyes and a small tag attached that says "To Rajni, Love Father", delicately packed in with the treasures.
Arista Milocathe
She gets a count of how many are interested in going and notes the number in her head so she can let the captain and Daphine know in her message. She also gives them a description of what the Captain of the ship looks like so they know who to look for and don't get on the wrong ship. She then waits to see if anyone has any questions or concerns.

Ignoring all the other treasures in the bag she carefully takes out the doll and looks at it, unable to stop herself, tears start to fall from her eyes as she realizes that at least a small part of him really must have loved her after all.

Taking his leave of the training area, Drago headed towards the café.

Taking Celine back to the wagon, she settles into the driver seat with Celine laying on the seat next to her with her head in her lap. Taking a blanket out of her bag she lays it over her daughter then turns the wagon around and heads back for Valwick. She would stop by the docks and let the captain know how many he could expect before going back to their house. She could return the horses and the wagon to the stables in the morning once she had seen off the refugees.

So, basically I'm taking the wagon and horses back to the docks to tell the Captain what I need to and then I'm driving it back home where I will put up the horses and wagon until the morning when I need to go back to the docks to see them off. And now I don't have to leave and can sit my happy ass at home just like everyone seems to want me to do. Happy now?
Sādhanā
Yeah yeah, busy night. lol
"Of course, have a seat." the magus replies, indicating a free chair. "This is Ylrhea, and Celia."
Arista Milocathe
Don't worry about it. We're gonna be waiting all night on Mr. Kitty pants anyways, cuz some people have to work at unGodly hours and are probably already in bed asleep if they know what's good for em'.
Rhadaya Stormbringer
"Absoluetely." Rhadaya says as Tes helps her up onto the stallion's back. It was funny that though she was used to flying she still noted how high up they were.
