"'Older Sister', eh?" Magestreia asks with a smirk. "I'll accept that, Younger Sister."

Umina moves closer to Amareth and Magestreia. "What are you two talking about?"

"We're bonding," Amareth says with a playful grin. "You can go back and sit down over there."

Umina scrunches her nose. "Hey...I thought you were too young for..."

"Maybe...maybe not," Amareth chuckles. "I think Magestreia and I need to go for a walk. What do you think, Magestreia?"

Magestreia looks confused, then simply nods. She gets to her feet and offers her hand to Amareth.

Amareth takes Magestreia's hand and gives Umina a wink.

Umina's jaw drops as the two walk away, making a path through the other Anizari warriors.

After getting a good distance away from the others, Amareth lets go of Magestreia's hand. "You had better be careful, Older Sister. There are quite a few eligible Anizari here and nothing is more exotic to them than an outsider. I figured you could use a breather."

Magestreia crosses her arms. "Thank you, Younger Sister. So what should I do to drive them away? You don't seem to have this problem."

"I am still a couple of years from being an adult, so my youth protects me," Amareth answers. "I don't think you have that advantage. If you are not looking for a mate, say so. If you say nothing, they will not be dissuaded."

"And if I am looking for one?" Magestreia asks. "Just out of curiosity."

"You cannot ask them to fight to the death for you. We are not barbaric," Amareth says. "Sadly, you'll have to court those that interest you until you find the one who captures your heart."

Magestreia shrugs. "I don't understand courtship rituals outside of Draconic ones."

"Perhaps you should ask Sadhana," Amareth suggests. "She would be knowledgeable about such things."

Sādhanā watches in amusement as Magestreia and Amareth make their exit before turning back to Allira after sharing a joy filled look with Ylrhea. "Ylrhea and I would like to formalize our union and devotion to each other. I can think of no one I would rather ask to do us that honor than the person who brought her back to me when I thought I'd lost everything."

Allira smiles. "I would be honored. When and where would you like to hold your ceremony?"

"Thank you so much, I think the 26th would be ideal." Sādhanā replies looking at Ylrhea. "We haven't really thought about where.

"I know I want everyone to be there."

"Then it would probably be best in Valwick. We have a little time to figure the details. Sādhanā replies with a smile.

"Then let me know what you have decided," Allira says. "I shall keep the 26th free."

"Anything else we need to do while we're here?" Ylrhea asks the magus.

"It is an honor" the magus replies.

"Hmm, introduce Magestreia to the enclave, check in on the other bladebearers, get Celia some time with her mothers, arrange our wedding." I can't think of much else that was on the list for today.

"Then I guess we just hang around until Celia gets back," Ylrhea says.

Despite having had lunch with Clara, Celia would never pass up an opportunity to enjoy her mothers' cooking. "A bit I suppose, I've missed your cooking." she says with a smile.

Mikel smiles and starts preparing a soup. "You look a lot happier than when you left."

"Works for me." Sādhanā replies taking Ylrhea's hand. It was good to see the others bladebearers and have an opportunity to spend some time among the Anizari.

"Well, I don't feel lost, the way I did when I left. I am happier. Though I'm sure appreciating freedom after having it taken away is part of that." Celia replies. "Think I have found my calling, and....I met someone." she says a bit more quietly.

Zariah's ears perk up. "Oh?"

Mikel chuckles. "I'm sure she's interested in who you met more than you finding your calling."

"Do you feel more comfortable around the Anizari than in Valwick?" Ylrhea asks Sādhanā. "I was just wondering."

A bit of additional colour rises to Velia's cheeks at her mothers' reactions. "I was initially staying with Sādhanā and Ylrhea, after they rescued me, but to give them a little privacy, I've been staying with someone. Her name is Clara." she says, her tone of voice rising slightly at the mention of her name.

"She's an amazing person, one of the town guard in Valwick. She's really helped me get....more comfortable with.....just everything after being in that dungeon."

"I....I wouldn't necessarily say that. I mean honestly wherever you are is home to me love." Sādhanā says considering the surprising question. "I mean I do enjoy the......I don't know the sisterhood here and the history the Anizari have, and the more I learn the more I can help, but I do feel close to Valwick as well, though it seems like it grows so fast that everytime we leave we come back to a different town than the one we left."

"What about you love? Where do you feel most at home? If you're not going to be in the field anymore soon, that matters."

"So...is it serious?" Mikel asks, stirring her soup.

Ylrhea shrugs. "You are my home. I...like Valwick well enough, but...you're right, it changes constantly. And while I enjoy being close to all our friends...I dunno. I feel like I fit in more in Valwick since I'm...well...a gnome. Not so much with the fitting in here. I guess there are enough Anizari in Valwick to not make you feel like you're alone there. But I'm not thinking of moving any time soon. I'll need Konstantyná, Arista and the rest of the pregnancy squad to get me through the next nine months."

Some time after Toni leaves, Drago hears someone pounding on the door.

Sādhanā wraps her arms around Ylrhea, her eyes filled with emotion. "And you're mine my love. Valwick is our home and absolutely anything you need, I would move mountains to make happen."

"Makes me extra glad I can travel in the blink of an eye now." she says with a smile.

"I....it's early....but.....yes." Velia says unable to suppress her smile. "She's amazing, caring, brave, noble."

Zariah smiles as well. "Then I am happy for you."

Mikel puts a bowl of soup in front of Celia along with a tankard of water. "I hope we get to meet her before too long."

Ylrhea smiles. "Especially if I have strange cravings."

Coming from the kitchen, Drago opened the door slightly to see who it was, hand ready to quickly draw a weapon.

"Allo, Szef," one of the three men at the door says. He gives the dhampir a toothy grin. "The boss wants a word with ya...else your bird might not be in the same shape she was when ya last saw her."

Lol....I can't tell if they're pirates or old time mobsters.

Just when I'm getting over my paranoia, this happens. I just can't catch a break.

Suppressing the rage that welled up within him, Drago calmly responded, "Boss huh, that's a new one. Fine, take me to the.............person in charge. But lay one finger on Yulia and trust me, there is no world in existence you can hide from me in."

The Dhampir got the distinct impression his sword was about to say something, but thought better on it.

After locking the door, he turned to the thugs, "Lead on."

What does the B**ch want now? He thought.

Well who ever it is, their information is out of date. Which means their spy network isn't all that good.

The three men lead Drago to Yulia's cafe and one holds open the door while the other two follow behind Drago. "Ladies first."

Two more men, dressed similarly sit on the counter, their eyes firmly gazing at Yulia, who is bound in a chair. Another man, this one dressed in dragon scale armor, steps out of the back. Each of them bears a strange sigil on their armor, one Drago had not encountered before. "Ah, if it isn't the Szef. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"I'll see what I can do to make that happen." Celia says, smiling. "I think you'd both like her." Taking a spoonful of soup she let's out a sigh. "Sooo good."

Mikel smiles and brings two bowls for Zariah and herself. "We won't keep you too long. If you need anything from your room, help yourself."

"Heh, I might find myself going to some interesting places." the magus quips with a happy smile.

Drago carefully assessed the situation. Three behind me, three in front. The goons I can probably take easily enough, but this guy...... Then, there's Yulia. With her bound like that, she could get hurt too easily, not to mention, why are they staring at her?

Without having to make a movement or speak a word, his vision shifted to pierce any veil of magic that could be hiding something.
