Taken out of his meditative state, the sword fell to the floor.

"Ow," The sword exclaimed.

Drago looked at the blade incredulously, "Oh please."

The blade snickered a little.

Picking it up and sheathing it, the Dhampir went to the door. He opened the door slightly. Seeing it was Toni, he opened it all the way, "Toni? What are you doing here?"

"I thought I'd stop by and see how you were doing," Toni says. "I haven't seen much of you since we...uh...you gave up being Szef. I'm heading out tomorrow with the other Summoners to the Plane of Fire...the City of Brass, specifically. That's where the last Summoner is. I wanted to know if you wanted to come along with us or if you were planning on helping the others."

Magestreia nods. "Very well."

Leewana puts her arms around Kylie, while Yara puts a hand on Leewana's shoulder. "We are ready, Bladebearer."

Knowledge: Planes: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24 Specifically the City of Brass.

"The City of Brass huh? Seems like it might be a rough trip, I presume precautions are being taken to prevent from bursting into flames upon reaching it?"

Drago knows that the City of Brass is one of the largest markets in the multiverse. All manner of creatures do business there and it is under the control of the Efreeti. Surprisingly, the city is hospitable to all, climate-wise at the very least.

"We would have to teleport directly to the City of Brass," Toni says. "I've made arrangements with Michael."

"That would make more sense. Wait, Summon...ers? Plural? What other houses are here?"

"You just picked up on that," The sword sarcastically asked.

Drago looked down on his blade, "Quiet you."

"All of them except Akulov, which has a Summoner but is not here," Toni says. "A-are you talking to your sword?"

Celia steps closer and nods, "Ready."

"I'll see you in a bit, love."

"See you soon, love." the magus replies with a wink, as she begins the arcane chant, her hands gesturing to trace arcane sigils in the air as she summons the magic to transport them between points in an eyeblink.

As Sadhana and the others appear suddenly, an Anizari guard quickly draws her weapon. She relaxes once she sees Celia, though her confusion is apparent. "Oh, Bladebearer...and Celia?"

Do I know her name?

It's Jedda. You can define whatever association you want with her.

"Jedda!" Celia exclaims excitedly. "It's good to see you again!" she says as she rushes forward to hug her friend since childhood.

"You can stand down," Sādhanā says with a broad smile. "We've come to meet with Allira and the others, and there are a few sisters I'd like to introduce."

The sword isn't telepathic, yet. So she should have heard it.

Drago gave Toni a confused look, "Did you not hear him speak? It's a recent development."

Toni cocks her head to the side. "I heard that. I wasn't sure if that was ventriloquism or not."

Jedda wraps her arms around Celia and gives her a tight squeeze. "Where have you been? Are you okay? Your parents are worried sick right now."

I'll let Celia name her own parents :P

Jedda lets go of Celia and nods at Sadhana. "Go ahead."

"Apologies Toni, I'm sometimes forget you're not from around here. Some magic items are intelligent, still getting a feel for the personality. Anyway, I think I may come with you. When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow after breakfast," Toni says. "We are all meeting at Hadrinn's to eat together."

"I'll see you then. But this should probably be the last time I deal with Summoner business. At least until we move on Blackcrown, when Chalandra is taken down, I need to be there."

"As you wish," Toni says with a shrug. She turns and heads back home.

At the mention of her mothers and their worry, Celia feels the well of emotion that brings moisture to her eyes. Zariah and Mikel had been both proud and a bit nervous when their only daughter was selected for the mission, and apparently rightfully so.

"Things went....awry a bit. I'll tell you ore later, I'm okay now though. Sādhanā and her others rescued me.[b]"I can't wait to see them." she replies, her enthusiasm adding an extra sense of youth to her voice.

Jedda smiles at Celia before turning her attention to Leewana, Yara and Kylie. "And who are these three?"

"These are Leewana, Yara and Kylie. They were being held prisoner in Jarrah's stronghold, for dissenting against her. We found them in chains. The others who disagreed with Jarrah are all dead. I wanted them to see what they could be a part of, those who held to the true path." Sādhanā replies. "Sisters, in need of a home."

"If they are in need of a home, then we shall provide one," Jedda says. "Would you like one of the other sisters to escort you inside? I'm afraid I must remain out here for a little longer."

Leewana nods. "Please."

Jedda lets out a low whistle and another Anizari appears. "What is it, Jedda?"

"We have sisters in need, Lenah," Jedda answers. "Please take them to see Wiyanga Allira."

Lenah nods. "Please follow me."

She leads Leewana, Yara and Kylie into the cave. Jedda then turns to Sadhana. "What of you, Bladebearer? Are you going with them?"

Ummmm....they weren't in chains. They were down there hiding from Jarrah. They said they snuck down there or something about a week or two before all the killing started, when they realized how far goned Jarrah really was. Just reminding you, since I know a lot has happened since infiltrating Jarrah's caves and lookingv for survivors.

Yeah I forgot that. Assume I said the right thing.

"I will shortly. I have to go back for Ylrhea and another who should also meet with Allira. I'll be back in a few moments." she says taking a step back and beginning the return spell.

Jedda nods.

"Welcome back," Magestreia says as Sadhana appears. "No problems?"

"No. All good. Celia's receiving a warm reception as could be expected, and Leewana, Yara and Kylie are being ushered to see Wiyanga Allira. Ready to go?" Sādhanā responds.

"Yup."

Magestreia takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. "As ready as I'll ever be."

with a smile Sādhanā closes her eyes, drawing forth a degree of focus, calling back to mind the full arcane intricacies of the teleportation spell. Opening her eyes, now shimmering blue, she once again carries out the mystic gestures and chant to instantly transport them back to the caves.

Magestreia looks around as they reappear. "This is quaint."

"And who is this?" Jedda asks Sadhana, a slight lilt in her voice as she glances at Magestreia.

"I'm Ylrhea," the gnome answers, lifting her necklace for the guard to see.

"No, I meant...the other Anizari," Jedda explains.

"I am Magestreia," the brawler answers. "Do I need to shake her hand or perform some other human custom?"

"Magestreia, eh?" Jedda says. "An unusual name for an Anizari."

"I am an unusual Anizari," Magestreia says.

Ylrhea simply shakes her head.

Sādhanā does her best to stifle a smirk, squeezing Ylrhea's hand. "She recently joined us, and is devoted to fighting for Zahvroma."

"Well, then, she is welcome here, Bladebearer," Jedda says. "You better go see to your parents, Celia."

"I appreciate your warm welcome, fellow Anizari," Magestreia says in response.

"Oh gods," Ylrhea mutters.

"What else am I supposed to say? I don't know her name."

"Why don't you ask her?"
