Eli Szardos
Round 2 Initiative 10
Eli draws his Nodachi and moves towards the incoming hyenas, taking a breath, flexing his knees, and raising his weapon before him, readying himself for the assault.
Eli to I13. Ready action to attack the first hyena within reach.
DM Grimmy
Q barely has a line of sight to the gnoll he targets but one of his two arrows still finds it's mark, nearly killing the beastly creature.
+4 AC from cover but still hit.
Raziels surprising acid attack wreaks havoc on an unsuspecting gnoll.
Gnoll archers follow Ghae and Eli's movement but hold for a clean shot.
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Trangles
Trangles 5-foot steps to the side to S7 and then attacks the gnoll while flanking with Hound.
Attack-slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Grab: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Then strange vine manages to land a sold blow while wrapping its tendrils about the body of the gnoll. (I think).
Sorry I did no post this earlier, this is why I rarely play animal companions, I always forget about them.
Ridley Blix
Round 2 Init 13
Ridley takes a few steps north and mutters an incantation. Just ahead of Eli a section of ground develops a layer of slick grease
Move Action: Move to I 11
Standard Action: Cast Grease on squares G15, H15, G16, H16
Knowledge (local) 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Round 2 Init 9:
The gnoll that is facing down Ogrim notices the feathered archer nearby and rage fills it's eyes. It carefully backs away from Ogrim brandishing it's spear and sidles over to the base of the tree where Q has made his post.
"Yip! Yip yap yawrl yipyip!"
Withdraw to L11
The gnoll that was menacing Hound backs away carefully in the same fashion, crossing the path and heading around the other side of the tree, ending at Q's flank.
Withdraw to K13

Round 2 Init 9:
cont'd
Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Howling savage warcry's, three more Gnolls stampede out of the encampment, the lead one nearly catching up with the hyena's as it performs a deft slide down the steep embankment at the edge of the leafless wooded vale.
Run to H27, F29, F34
Gnoll 5 Jump 1 Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Gnoll 5 Jump 2 Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Gnoll 4 Jump 1 Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Two of the gnoll sentries attempt to leap from their outposts to the adjoining rocky pillars for better positioning. The first one makes the leap to the first outcropping successfully, and the second one crosses the ladder to take his place. The lead one attempts the jump to the next pillar as the one behind him attempts the jump he had just successfully made.
Neither one makes the jump. They fall 15 feet to the ledge below.
Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 10
The first gnoll manages to land on his feet but the one behind him is battered between two rocky surfaces on his way down and ends up prone.
Fall: 1d6 ⇒ 5
DM Grimmy
Round 2 Initiative 8:
The rabid hyena's charge dead-long at Eli, only to find surprisingly unsure footing on their way.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
The first two hyena's immediately fall when they reach the patch of magical grease, but the third one is able to pick his way carefully through and continue on to Eli.
I believe that triggers Eli's readied attack!
Raziel Drakan
Dang, it is hard to get those sneak attacks in from range...
Raziel tries to momentarily distract the gnoll fighting Ogrim, by pointing in the opposite direction and shouting - "Look out!" - then dashing into hiding.
So... I think this is possible, right? I'll try to bluff him (I imagine it is a standard action), then stealth to P:6 behind the tree (move action)? This can be done, right? At -10 to stealth I believe :/
Bluff/Distraction: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 - 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 - 10 = 15
Eli Szardos
Eli smiles as two of the charging beasts fall to the ground and focuses solely on the remaining hyena. Timing the strike, he waits until the hyena is unable to significantly alter its course and strikes out.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
How did I go down to 6 initiative? Nevermind. I got moved to coincide with where my readied action took place.
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Next Round
Trangles
The viscous vine, quickly takes off after the gnoll that just withdrew and attempts to slam the creature into submission.
Charge to M10.
Attack-charge-slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 2 + 2 = 18 <-- +2 charge, +2 flanking (since Q a Zen archer is a monk, he can make unarmed attacks even if his hands are full, and, thus, threatens)
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Grab: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 <-- not sure if I get flanking or charge bonus on this
Ghae
Ghae follow behind her strange viney companion with he club ready.
--> don't think that I can charge doe to the tree
Double Move to L10.
Hound
RD 3
Hound adjusts his grip and stabs at the one at S-8
Greatsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 82d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
DM Grimmy
Hound needs new dice.
Also, that gnoll is dead already!
Perception-Distance: 1d20 + 8 - 3 ⇒ (12) + 8 - 3 = 17
Raziel succesfully fools the gnoll into looking away, and darts behind a tree.
I moved Raziel to P4 rather the P6. (You were looking at the old map, the gnoll you are stalking has moved over by Q.)
Also, Raziel has a standard action remaining (see discussion thread).
Sadly, Raziel has a sinking feeling that the gnoll spotted him behind the tree despite his ruse.
DM Grimmy
[(since Q a Zen archer is a monk, he can make unarmed attacks even if his hands are full, and, thus, threatens)
Nice!
Grab: 1d20+3 <-- not sure if I get flanking or charge bonus on this
Flanking applies, charge does not.
--> don't think that I can charge doe to the tree
Correct.
Ridley Blix
Gnoll closest to the hyena is the leader? He's the only one in my range, so if he isn't I'll do it anyway...just making sure I read the descriptions right.
Round3 Init 13
Watching the onrushing gnolls Ridley swallows and looks up at Q, "You keep shooting like that and I think we might live long enough to maybe not die saving that lady we don't know."
Muttering another quick incantation she sends a barrage of confusing and jumbled thoughts to the lead gnoll.
Free Action: Speaking
Standard Action: Cast lesser confusion on the gnoll at H27
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Round 3
Ghae
The half-elfen tree hugger slides sideways next to Q, K11, and attacks with her greenish glowing club on one of the gnolls flanking Eli, while Trangles continues to attempt to slam the gnoll to the ground.
5-foot step to K11.
Attack-club-shillelagh @ : 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 20<-- +1 enchantment, +2 flanking
Damage: 2d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3, 6) + 2 + 1 = 12 <-- might take him down
Trangles
Attack-slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 = 10 <-- +2 flanking
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Grab: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14 <-- +2 flanking
Eli Szardos
Eli watches the two remaining hyenas flail about in the grease and laughs as he tears his nodachi from the body of the first. It doesn't come out easily, and he has to brace a foot on top of the body in order to provide enough leverage to pull the blade free. This, unfortunately, took long enough that one of the hyenas managed to get clear of the grease and start nipping at the ranger. Snarling, Eli brings his sword across in a vicious cross-chop aimed at the beast's neck.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Raziel Drakan
Raziel tries to create a distraction for the gnoll that faces Ghaelja, immediately dashing behind another tree in the hopes of confounding the opponent.
Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 - 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 - 10 = 11
Moving to K:5. Trying to distract the one in L:11
Acid Splash Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Wow... This was sad in so many ways...
Hound
Red 4. Hound Rages , 5'steps to M-11 and strikes the gnoll at L-11
Greatsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 162d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 6) + 7 = 16
