Forgot Ollosendre's immediate reaction to being slowed etc (noted below). My fault, so I'll let it lie and play it correctly from now on.
Cronin's vestments glow and take on a greenish sheen. Iji notes the development.
"Resist me will you? But can you stand against my blade? I think not."
Ollosendre, on the other hand, seems resigned. Now nose to nose with his ancestral enemy, he bows slightly.
"This is not an honourable battle and I am compelled. Discussion of your potential existance is more appealing."
With that, lightning explodes from his blade, sending sparks into the air. As the crackling dies away, the sparks remain. Ollosendre looks disgusted with himself.

Nayce Mernorr |

Nayce strides to Ollesendre and does his best to eliminate this threat so that they may focus on the larger one.
Move to directly S of Ollesendre. 2 shrouds on Ollesendre. Activate Slayer's Endurance.
Blade from the Mist on O using 4 shrouds. 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25 vs AC.

Would have been 2d12 + 23 + 4d8 + 20 + 2d8 ⇒ (1, 8) + 23 + (5, 5, 8, 6) + 20 + (5, 2) = 83. Instead he takes 32 shroud damage only because I can't seem to roll worth crap.

Rev DM |

Sorry about that. Summer school was more distracting than intended.
Nayce pops back into view and manages a fairly substantial blow on Ollesendre, despite his blade glancing off an inconsiderately placed armlet. The eladrin lord shakes his head slightly as the hitherto unseen assassin appears before him.
"Sneaky and dishonourable," he remarks in pained tones.
Iji, on the other hand, seems to be reveling in the chance to bring about carnage.
Roaring happily, he belches again and swings his falchion at Greeg, following up with vicious attack on the acid-ridden goliath.

Don Zaloog |

Don eyes those Spark Spheres with disdain. They....look like they might explode on death, at least to his eye. Either way, he decides it's probably best to take them out with range. If only this acid'd stop burning into him, he might be able to concentrate more. No matter, people were getting hurt, and he just might be able to do something about it. He hefted his blade towards the spark sphere experimentally.
Deft Strike vs S1 (moving to C10 as part of the At Will)

If that flattens it, Don moves to E 12 afterwards.

Nayce Mernorr |

The eladrin lord shakes his head slightly as the hitherto unseen assassin appears before him.
"Sneaky and dishonourable," he remarks in pained tones.
"Are you suggesting you would rather I left your eternal soul bound to a dusty dungeon with a dim, bloodthirsty oni as your only companionship? I will continue doing this my way. Some men have honor. The rest of us get things done."

Kevaras Zanorin |

"Hey Platemail, need a potion? Big Guy?"
Don offers a potion of Regeneration(heroic) to the defenders
"I'm good, thanks. You might want to stand a bit closer (within 5 squares), as I have something that might help against the acid, the next time you puncture that vitriolic windbag."

Rev DM |

Don's instincts prove sure as he chucks an experimental dagger at S1 and sees is vanish. Less joyful is the sight of some of Ollesendre's wounds closing over.
The eladrin eyes Nayce thoughtfully.
"A good point and well made. Iji has blighted by existance for centuries. He is, as you have noticed, a moron."
He nods. "We will do this your way. If you free me, will you take my body to Seluca for proper burial?"

Kevaras seems as resigned as the eladrin.

Call on magic of my hammer to put 15 ongoing fire damage to the Oni as well.
Greeg shrugged of the staggering blow that had knocked him from combat. Smiling, he stepped forwards and showed the upstart Ogrekin that he could reach as easily with his hammer at a distance as he could up close and personal.
The elemental weapon whistled as it travelled through the air, catching fire with the heat of a magma pool as Greeg called on the primal nature of the world to fell his opponent. He laughed in the joy of battle as the hammer struck, knocking the Oni to the ground and setting his hideous form on fire.
It was only then that he also realised he was no longer feeling the burn of the creatures acidic breath.
"I'm thinking I'll be sending you off to whatever hell awaits boyo. Starting to feel nervous yyet?"
Greeg passed his save for onging so doesn't take any this round. Ogre is prone and burning at 15 fire damage till save. Note he can't get up until the end of my next turn, giving a whole bucn of folk combat advantage if they want it, and not threatining now I believe.
Edit - Sorry, didn't mention that I only shifted the 5 feet necessary to attack him with my reach. This also means I can't mark him though as he needs to be adjacent to me for that.

Rev DM |

Ollosendre takes a moment to answer Nayce before events on the other side of the room distract him.
"You will find the maps on my desk in the next room. Oh, majestic!"
The last comment seems to be a response to Greeg. The goliath finally finds his hammer responding properly as he drives Iji's legs out from under him. The oni thumps to the ground, bellowing as unexpected flame starts to lick around him.

Welcome back, Rev. Computers; what would we do without them.
"I hope they're being stored properly, either flat as they would be in a properly built map chest or rolled as a scroll case might have them. I can't stand people who fold maps, the creases always seem to come out across the place you want to go so that you can't find it precisely, or sometimes you'll be wandering along happily when you come across a crease and the next thing you know you've been captured by cannibal lizardmen which isn't as bad as it sounds because, well, cannibals, but then it turns out that they need to sacrifice you to one of their gods so in fact it is as bad as it sounds at least if you consider being eaten and being sacrificed as being equally bad and who wouldn't if they didn't want to end up dead." Guldarin blasts away happily at both the parties foes.
Wander to L9.
Hand of Radiance,
Targeting Iji, 1d20 + 18 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 18 - 2 = 33 vs Ref; I think -2 is the penalty for a ranged attack on a prone target.

Damage, 1d4 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 radiant damage; Don is not close enough for me to get bonus damage

Rev DM |

My new problem is that I no longer seem to have any form of Word available. Which is an unholy pain as I've got years of documents I can no longer read, open or otherwise access. Grrrr.
Guldarin's informative discourse certainly distracts Iji long enough to allow a blast of radiant light to hit him painfully. Ollosendre, on the other hand, seems intrigued by a fellow scholar.
"We used pixies in Seleuca. They were often a little unreliable, but they treasured the cartography. Of course, for very large maps, one had to employ several."

Iji roars as Cronin drops his halberd rather precisely on his head. Don is unable to take advantage of the resulting inspiration.

Actually, given Don's record, it's eminently believable and probably worth putting a small bet on that Don will in fact still be drippingg acid on the rest of us in an hour or so, assuming he isn't a puddle o the floor that is, which would be rather a bad thing especially for him, not that walking in a puddle of Donic acid would be a good thing for the rest of us and especially not for anyone wearing sandels and with a knotted hankie on their head, though that reference will probably passing over non-British heads.

I remember an amusing adage. A good disruptive player can make a paladin fall. It's really not that hard...
It's tougher to make a cleric fall from grace...
EVEN TOUGHER to make a druid fall
but the most manipulative expert griefers in the game...
can make the rogue fall.

Greeg |

Greeg stepped into the prone Oni and delivered one of the most powerful blows he could muster. There was something about this evil thing that brought out the big Guardian's ire, and he vented that felling through the heavy metal of his hammer.
Ponderous Strike - standard Melee; 1d20 + 18 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 18 + 2 = 40 vs AC . Damage 3d10 + 12 ⇒ (4, 4, 3) + 12 = 23 damage. Target provokes AoO if it shifts before end of my next turn, even on a miss.
Crit damage 3d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4) = 10 Fire. He also takes 11 damage according to the combat summary. So thats a toatl of 42(crit) + 10(fire) + 11 (extra damage)= 63 damage for the attack. An additional 10 when he stands up. Greeg could probably die happy right now :)
As the hammer landed, the big man roared his fury into the Oni's prone form "Come on laddy, get up and fight! You were happy enough picking on my smaller friend not long ago, stand up and fight someone more your own size eh!"
As he did so, he strengthened his body with the hardness of stone, calling on the pretective spirits of the Guardian bear and the earth mother herself to protect him agains this things inevitable counter attack.

Broken fan. Sometimes I hate technology.
Guldarin's discussion is conducted with the space he assumes to be occupied by Iji, for the oni remains invisible. For once, the giant has the sense to stay silent as Guldarin slaps at empty air. Nor has he any better fortune attempting to hit Ollosendre or the spark. Both stay resolutely unharmed.
