I hadn't brought this up in the recruitment thread, but many/most people living in Vigil have something called a Shield-Mark. Its a Mark of Justice (spell) that forms a tattoo-like shield on the palm of the right hand. The mark is an oath of loyalty to support the crusade and its ideals and to treat citizens with fairness, honesty and respect. Individuals asking to be soldiers in Vigil must swear to serve the commanders and citizens and to temper justice with mercy. Anyone without a mark cannot own property or businesses in Vigil and cannot carry weapons.
As you'll see in the gameplay thread, having a mark is not required of all scrubs. You can decide if your character already has one or not.

I think it's flagged as hidden. It happened to me earlier, when I started my Curse of the Crimson Throne game. If you tell a mod that you think it's flagged hidden, they should be able to fix it, but they didn't tell me how to do it.
Shield-Marks: I'd assume that the Tilernos family would have had them essentially from childhood. As one of the "old families" of Lastwall, it seems like they'd be taught from childhood to serve and to temper their justice with mercy, etc. If this isn't the case, Eilidh will still have one. Also, she prefers "Allie" over Eilidh, but her mother refuses to use the nickname.
@Kassara: We should figure out what our relationship is, as sisters. It's a great opportunity to RP relatives, and one that doesn't come up often.
Thanks for the opportunity, DMRaven!

Oh that's pretty easy..I attempted to make another campaign due to sheer impatience although I did contact the community@paizo.com email. I wanted to get some of the information posted for players to peruse while the issue resolves itself.
The new campaign tab is found here. I hope to get the recruitment thread unset and connected to that one instead as the gameplay thread seems to work. I went this route due to a forum discussion a few months ago I found about deleting the first gameplay post and how to fix it...now if only I had been patient and seen Allie's post first.
