Upon opening the door, you see that this room is a kitchen, and is in shambles. Broken pottery shards litter the floor, with metal utensils and cooking vessels strewn about the room. The hearth is cold, and counter surfaces covered in a fine coating of dust. Cobwebs adorn the corners of cabinets and shelves.
Fener
Fener and Rudy follow along.
This place is a little creepy. Speaking of creepy, remember that Hag? She looked like she fell off the ugly tree. yikes.
And this Brotherhood, Those guys are so uptight, when they pass wind, only dogs can hear it.
I mean seriously, These guys are so tight, they could sit on a piece of coal and have a diamond in a few hours.
Fener starts mumbling to himself, laughs a bit and pulls out his flask.
Rudy Bites Fener on the leg.
OUCH!!!!

Flug enters the kitchen after Celif, walking in like an invited guest, and looks at the metal utensils, taking a metal spoon if one exists.
Gezzo Wrathforge
Gezzo makes his way across the kitchen to the far door. He waves his hand to the others and indicates there is something on the other side. Leaning close, he looks the door over for dangers, puts an ear to the door and Lryhla sniffs the air.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32
Lryhla's Perception w/ scent: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Imowen Aroudilee
Noticing Gezzo examining the next door I ask, Would you like me to check it for traps and open the lock, Gezzo?
Assuming Gezzo responds affirmatively:
Checking for traps: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
If there is a trap:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
for the lock:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
2nd attempt for the lock:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30

A confused look crosses Celif's face when she glances at Flug, but she makes no comment.

Large pottery jars and wood barrels line the walls of this dark room. A butcher’s block table stands near the door, dried fish scales scattered about its surface. A meat cleaver with a leather cord through its handle hangs from a hook on the end of the table. An oil lantern hangs from one of the empty meat hooks dangling on chains from the ceiling joists. Dark stains run toward a drain in the middle of the stone floor, which smells of decay. An empty oak bucket sits beside the drain. In a corner of the room, a quarterstaff leans against the wall, and a backpack rests near it on the floor.
The map is updated.
Gezzo Wrathforge
Gezzo carefully walks into the quiet room. He looks for traps or anything out of place before taking the quarterstaff and meat cleaver.
Perception for traps: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
It looks like the aura came from this quarterstaff. Gezzo says to the group. It also looks like that room was recently used...for what, I'm not sure.
Cеlif
Do we get more of a "storeroom/larder/pantry" or "kitchen" vibe from this room, GM?
Celif begins cautiously checking the jars and barrels.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Flug examilnes the backpack, and discovers it is masterwork, worth 50 gp. Inside is a variety of articles, including a candle; flint and steel; a whetstone; a flask of Ambrosia; two Tindertwigs; a Meditation Crystal in the shape of the Shining Path holy symbol; a sling and six sling bullets; and a small leather pouch containing 3 sp and a rose quartz gem worth 25 gp.
Celif examines the crates and barrels and discovers food preparation and storage took place in this room. The wood barrels contain root vegetables, which are spoiled. Edible salted fish and pickled vegetables are contained in the sealed pottery jars.
Fener
Fener walks into the room and looks around. He tries to determine the age of the items in this room.
Knowledge Nature. Take 10 = 22.
That looks like a fine staff. A weapon often used by monks trained in martial ways. Fitting for this place.
Flug Managarm
"A-allow me," Flug says, putting away his spoon to reach for the quarterstaff from Gezzo. When it's given to him, he takes the Eye of Divination out and begins casting a spell, his eyes clouding over with black as he stares at the wood.
Casting Identify from the Eye of Divination to identify the quarterstaff.
Spellcraft (identify quarterstaff): 1d20 + 4 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 10 = 32

Flug casts the spell Identify on the magical quarterstaff, and determines it is endowed with the Cunning enhancement:
Cunning Quarterstaff; Aura moderate divination; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, true strike; Price 2,000 gp.
The cunning special ability allows a weapon to find chinks in a foe’s defenses using the wielder’s knowledge of the target. Whenever the weapon’s attack is a critical threat, the wielder gains a +2 bonus on the confirmation roll if he or she has 5 or more ranks in the Knowledge skill related to the target’s creature type (such as Knowledge [planes] for an outsider opponent).
Flug Managarm
"It makes you look cunning," Flug says, looking up from the quarterstaff, eyes still black, "strikes the weakness of familiar targets."
He gives the quarterstaff back to Gezzo.
