"Normal?" Rowan blinks as he looks first at Akahale then at Manny and then back again.

"Probably have more chance having It show off that bow of his and asking Manny where he keeps the spare bolts for it," Rowan openly ponders.
Frowning he sighs openly.
"Heck why not!" he decides wondering what could shock Manny out of his trance.

Rowan will move forward on his turn trying to see who else is out here and if he sees anyone from the inn he'll use his (flare gun power) Sacred Flame in front of them to shake them loose of the trance effect Dagon's using again.

"Okay was that me or you?" Rowan asks Seram as Manny apparently breaks out of his trance in Seram's arms.

Akahale scans the streets and environs for other enthralled persons.

If he sees any, he's going to go over and be very, very scary until they stop trying to drown themselves.

Rowan eventually follows intent on preventing anyone running into the waves whether its because they're mesmerised or just more scared of Akahale.

Well when Rowan can he was going to throw out his Sacred Flare where he can help make things look a little less blurry

Akahale proceeds in an orderly manner towards the sea.

I thought you were scanning the streets? Are you heading west to the beach, or investigating the streets?

Where you are, is pretty much almost on the shoreline, so you can see the sea from there.

Having looked at the street and seen nobody but his own companions, Akahale heads towards the beach in the hope of rescuing innocent victims from the luring call of Dagon.

If he doesn't see anybody walking to doom, he'll backtrack to the inn in case the merchants and their entourage are enthralled again.

He doesn't spy anyone on the beach at this point in time.

"WOW another one of those dang siren calls. We really need to shut that thing up tonight. Come on guys lets keep focused and get back to the tavern. We really need some food and a bit of rest if at all possible. Keep your eyes out for other enchanted souls that need to be saved." Grafire looks ahead on his way to the tavern for other people encahnted by the song of the siren.

"Hm, hey,... wha?!?,..." Manny mutters semi-intelligibly as he is roughly shaken out of his trance. "Wha happen'd, where's my shrimp cocktail?!?"
He demands blearily as he takes stock of his, horizontal, location, and who is holding him.

"Hey! Watch where your putting those hands mister! I'm not THAT kind of a mage!" He sniffs disdainfully as he extricates himself from Seram's grip.

(Actually, it would be more accurate to say that he wiggles until Seram sees fit to release him, but he does have his pride, after all!)

"Wait, where are we,...? Oh, back to the Inn already? Oh, ok,..." Manny whines with a last, inexplicably longing look towards the sea before falling back in line with the others.

Seram releases the mage.

Grafire makes his way back to the inn, but from out of the street, a vile fishman attacks!

This mis-shapen beast is very similar to the ones you fought beneath the church. The astute dragonborn dodges the frenzied attack.

Manny's turn!

As unlikely as its going to be since Seram goes before me but if that fishman is still standing Rowan will take 2 steps forward to M-14, if there's a fishman on the corner to the left of where Rowan is and he can engage it in melee he uses Priests Shield on the offending foe: 29 to hit doing 12 damage to it (Rowan gets +1 AC if this happens), but if the fishman facing Grafire is the only one present then Rowan uses a Lance of Faith on Grafire's opponent with 26 to hit their Reflex doing 7 damage and Grafire gets +2 to hit him on his next turn

"Okay heads up!" Rowan tries to close the distance between him and Grafire.

This is in case Rowan's turn comes up and I'm offline

"Ngyaahh!" Manny declares intelligently.

"What is this?!? 'When good sushi goes bad'? Don't these bottom dwellers have anyone ELSE to bother?!? Sheesh!"

With that the grumpy wizard slogs forward, and sends a shimmering bolt flying towards the scaly assailant,...

Just to confirm, is it still difficult terrain, -2 for tipping rain and stinky fishfolk aura contend with? If so, what is the penalty we're applying to the rolls - not that this particular fishbod is likely to last long enough for Akahale to find out, but just so I know.

The concealment due to rain still applies. the fishmen have an aura 2, so if you start your turn within 2 squares of one, you take a -2 penalty to attack. e.g. if Akahale were 2 squares away from the fishman, he would be at -4 to attack (-2 for aura, -2 for rain)

Fabes, you may have missed it, but Rowan posted early about six posts back.

Akahale will double move to AA8 and curse the fishbod.

Squishing through the downpour, Akahale beadily eyes the fishman before planting an almost gentle curse on its head.

Snuffling slightly, he has a horrible feeling that he is coming down with a cold.

Rowan hits with Lance of Faith (I factored in concealment from the rain). More to come.

Rowan sends a beam of holy light into the fishman, which seems to make it goggle and reel. Akahale squelches back to the street with determination, fighting against a sneeze.

Shambling toward you come nightmares vomited from the sea itself. Roughly humanoid, they are covered in viscous slime, shifting scales, and fishbelly white flesh. Their huge eyes never blink; their mouths gape and flex, but no sound emerges as they approach. They clutch rusty blades in their webbed hands.

Javelins fly through the air, only to fall short of their targets.

"Finally things are looking fun" Seram Dashes at the fishman with a burst of speed

Combat Sprint, +4 to my move and +4 to all defenses against any opportunity attack I provoke with this movement. Move to Z18; Howling Strike on 2, 1d20+13=27; Damage 2d4+1d6+13=23

MAnny hugs the wall of teh building they are next to, trying to stay our of the muck. HE sees a fishman coming his way down an alley between two buildings, and levels his staff.

"That's IT!" He grumbles, "I eat seafood! NOT the other way around!" And sends a blast of arcane energy screaming down the alley towards the fishman.

"Well somebody didn't get out of the right side of the bed this morning... in fact I'm seriously wondering whose bed they went blind drunk into last night!" Rowan quips.

Still having trouble with Invisible Castle, however when Rowan's turn comes up he'll head 2 squares forward so he's in the square above Grafire is at the moment and unleash Divine Glow: 1d20+9 vs Reflex close blast 3 which should effect both fishmen 2&4 and grants both It and Grafire a +2 bonus to their next attack: so thats a total of 22 on 4 and 11 on 2 I suspect both are misses as I think Rowan is close enough to suffer that -2 penalty due to stench aura but if the first did hit fishman 4 then it takes 1d8+5 or 13pts of radiant damage however It and Grafire still get that +2 if i read that right

Mandrake unleashes his wrath in the form of a magical arrow of force, which strikes the gasping icthyian full on. Seram surges through the mud, smashing into the melee, only to spy another one of the horrors round the corner!

Snuffling mightily, Akahale curses the nearest fishy foe and glances behind him to see if the beach is still unoccupied. In passing he fires a random eldritch blast at F4 and misses completely.

"I believe I may have an infected sinus." he mutters miserably.

Curse F4 and miss. Home rolled a 3.

Depending on what he sees on the beach will determine which way he goes.

Akahale spies no-one yet.

In which case, he will proceed in an easterly direction to Z11 and gain some more concealment.

"You'll look and smell much better as a filet. Here let me help you with that." Grafire Swings his battle axe at the well deserving fish stick man.
