Don't worry Leeka. After an amusing distraction followed by a chase through the markets where fruit carts are tipped, crates toppled, released chickens flap about and lots of exploding vegetables, Colgrim will sorrowfully report that he was outsmarted by you and give a very accurate description of the perpetrator.

That'll work. I did have a mind to try to steer this scene inside Crax Manor so Leeka could come alive, say no more to the beatings, grab that whip when he brought it down again and strangle the man with it.

Poor nephew, so distraught to realize that the old bat had squandered all her money and left him with nothing, he hung himself with his own whip.

Oh no, wait. This has epic potential. If it works, I know exactly where to go with that! :D

Oh wow! Leeka's is so much more awesome.

While Epic, I do believe that strangling the noble might garner Leeka a bit more attention than she'd truly want.

I know. It's awful. It's one aspect of Cheliax I wanted to explore, but I find it a depraved activity (slavery) alongside all the OTHER awful things!

As a side note, I expected Crax to be pushed to be arrested. The fact that Dario will have plenty of time to sell enough of the loot to make this happen.

There are several armorers in town, with some providing high quality goods, some providing mid-quality goods, and others, primarily serving the poor folk, providing rubbish as weapons. Most potions and low-level magic items are available via the Church of Asmodeus, as well as through Arael for potions.

Hooray stuff! And I will take one of the heavy darkwood shields, if no one else needs it more. Hooray being able to jump, etc. with something resembling competence! :P

Dario will take the Scroll of Invisibility if no one wants it. He'll pass on the masterwork breastplate, though perhaps Colgrim wants it? If not, selling the armor and buying the scroll from the pile should equal out, I think.

Knowledge, Religion: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 For the wooden coins.

Dario will argue to hang onto those for him to study more if that roll doesn't work.

I didn't realize the Assisting gloves were one use items. I think someone should grab the other one rather than sell it.

Stanley can have the Ring of Sustenance, though if he wants to spread out the healing, Dario can hold/use the scrolls and probably the fighters can take the potions.

Dario used his proceeds to buy a MW scimitar, MW chain shirt, MW thieves' tools, MW Backpack, and of course pay for Leeka's release from the Crax family.

I don't think it's actually illegal to worship non-diabolic gods in Westcrown...just not always a good idea. I do think (not sure where I read it) that Chaotic deities (like Milani) are outlawed, but I imagine the goddess of death is seen as having a role to play even in the life of a diabolic society. Just my two cents! :)
