Karl Gufstass |

Upon entering the temple, Karl also begins to discern what he can about the religion, namely where the Xanathon's chambers would be found.
Religion: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

GM Helaman |

Cretia is an evil trickster god of the Ethangarians. Normally not worshipped in a very organised manner, Cretia until the last 20 years or so was worshipped more by way of appeasement but this has changed and his worship has gained popularity and influence.
There is no telling where Xanathons chambers may be but deep in the temple is the best bet.

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

I am Aukan-Knows-No-Fear! And you are a very unlucky soul! Aukan bellows and then he grabs the man, attempting to wrestle his weapon from him and subdue him
STR!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Trying to grapple and pin the man down so we can gag and tie him up.

GM Helaman |

Never change Aukan - you're a treasure to any GM. You just made this next scene awesome!
Aukan darts at the man, in a lighting dash of sinew and muscle and grapples him, holding him fast so that he can not escape...
And thats when seven other guards appear - 2 from each of the six rooms when you entered, and one from the room that the grappled guard appeared from... at least you think they are all guards but there are two who seem to have some sort of dark robes on who also wear holy symbols similar to that of the statue on the dais.
Initiative (Party) +2 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Initiative (Guards) +1 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Party up... lets do this one mapless as there is enough room for everyone.

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

The 5E rules for grappling are...limited...compared to PF. So, I'm gonna wing it here.
AHHH MORE!
Aukan headbutts the man and kicks him away, drawing his own weapon.
Unarmed Damage: 1 + 5 = 6
Raging! Dealing unarmed damage to the man and releasing the grapple.

GM Helaman |

Aukan crushes the first guard, which falls asleep with his partner as Magnus' spell sends them both to the land of Nod.
Karls attack on the first robed figure misses but his spiritual mace hits the second.
Astrid takes down the third guard with a blow that nearly cuts the man in half but her spinning strike misses guard four.
Liam's sword attack strike hits the one that Karl missed but was unsuccessful with his shield bash follow up.
Sooo.
Guard 1 and 2 sleeping
Guard 3 dead and nearly in 2 pieces.
Guard 4 up

Robed 2 8hps damage
The guard attempts to hit Astrid with his Scimitar. Advantage due to reckless attack.

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

I used to have access from work, but recently roll20 will not load there no matter what. I don't know if its a work change or a roll20 change. I asked my IT friend to look into it but he's been busy
Aukan briskly walks up to the door and opens it.
Some of you guys haven't posted since Saturday. What happened to 1/day posting?

Karl Gufstass |

I have attempted to create an account multiple times on Roll20 with no success. It keeps telling my email address is in an invalid format. It is a simple Gmail account. I do not ge it.

Liam Kali |

Liam follows along, sword drawn. keeping an eye out for an ambush.
despite his rather boisterous companion, Liam tries to keep a low profile.
As Aukan rushes forward, Liam attempts to keep pace. he stops short so as to not put himself in a strategically bad position.

Magnus Corvus |

Before they leave the main temple, Magnus quick searches the robed figures for any items they might have had on them. Hear ing Aukan charging off further into the building, he quickly rushes after the rest of the party.

![]() |
Sure, Aukan isn't putting much thought into it, so unless someone else wants to take over pushing the action forward Aukan will kinda just head randomly into the Temple. He isn't picky, he just wants someone to fight
Ask and ye shall recieve :)
Aukans stride down the corridor takes him past a mess hall, where a dozen guards are already rising from their chairs and drawing weapons in response to the noise heard earlier.
Party Initiative 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

Ugh! Completely missed this game's update yesterday, sorry!
Aukan charges straight into the room screaming a battle cry!
RAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHH
Aukan attempts to flip a table over on a small knot of guardsmen
STR w/Rage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 but instead he just shoves the table a bit.

Astrid Truestone |

Ugh! Completely missed this game's update yesterday, sorry!

RAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHH
Aukan attempts to flip a table over on a small knot of guardsmen
[dice=STR w/Rage] 1d20+5 but instead he just shoves the table a bit.
Aukan, you're mixing up rage damage and Strength checks. Whenever you roll damage in rage, you add +2. Whenever you make a Strength check, you do it with advantage, and don't apply the +2.

Liam Kali |

Liam leaps to action, his sword drawn. apparently you have no idea just who you are dealing with. I just so happen to be the finest swordsman in all the lands I know.
His bravado giving him courage as Liam acrobatically maneuvers through the enemies and leaps up on a table...
acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
with a flip and a roll, Liam is up on the table and he dramatically slices at a guard.

shield bash: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
shield damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
after the hit, he glances toward Astrid, and gives her a wink.

GM Helaman |

Aukan advantage with Rage 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 tries flipping the table (advantage second roll) but doesn't succeed - maybe it is because Liam landed on it... his position puts him in the midst of the guards.
Magnus drops three guards in their tracks while Astrid again proves her mettle by braining one of the guards.
Liam is deadly with his movement and with the high ground manages to hit the guard with sword and with his shield, pushing him back towards Astrid. You have advantage on the table but you didn't need it to hit this time
Guards

8. Attacks Aukan 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Astrid Truestone |

Astrid is beginning to look rather ragged, but she doesn't stop her assault.
She swings her blade in a wide arc towards the two guards that attacked her...
Reckless Grand Slam: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Reckless Grand Slam: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Damage: 2d6 + 16 ⇒ (5, 3) + 16 = 24
Reckless Grand Slam: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Reckless Grand Slam: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Damage: 2d6 + 16 ⇒ (2, 4) + 16 = 22

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

Aukan only takes 3 damage....1/2 damage while raging is awesome
Aukan grabs at one of the guards Athletics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 and hurls him to the ground prone. Combat Trick! It's much more fun to do that than to just swing away every round
I am Aukan Knows-No-Fear and you will rue this day!
