You can take your previous attack roll, which would hit. Yanbrel, go ahead an move for both rounds if you would like. Sickly... unfortuunately the minotuar does not appear tired. Somewhat wounded with a broken battleaxe, but note tired.
The minotaur charges Sickly!
Powerful Charge: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10
This encounter is tough, so you know. Possibly too tough. I read the scaling thing again and I am doing everything by the book on this one.
Sickly

If he did not appear tired, then as mentioned, Sickly's action was to ready an action to brace for it... so I assume that means I get my one attack before that damage comes through?
Anyway, here it would be:
readied braced bard-infused enraged powerattack vs charge: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 27
Braced damage vs charge: 2d12 + 13 + 13 ⇒ (11, 12) + 13 + 13 = 49
edit: Umm... another one? Oh crap
Confirmation roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 15 for an additional 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20

I totally don't know what to make of a 1st level character doing 69 points of damage on a single attack. Keep thinking I did something wrong in the numbers, but it all looks right.
I'd be more then happy to downgrade that to not one shot the boss, if it comes to that... seems kinda cheap. 8(
Not to mention the AOO he'd get if the mino did indeed run right up in his face like indicated on the map (reach weapon)

Ho... ly... moley... Clash of the titans O_O
Gm, I moved the minotaur on the map. This where it was supposed to be?
"Sickly, get back!" Clair shouts where she sees the dwarf getting hit by an attack that would surely have taken her down. Her eyes grow wide when she sees how Sickly returns the minotaur's favor.
It's a wonder he still stands!
Clair moves away from the log, convinced range attacks are her best shot. She points a finger of the hand holding the wand at the minotaur, and shoots an icicle at it. (If needed Clair will drop the wand. The ability says I have to point a finger, so I think it should work while holding the wand?)
Touch attack (Icicle): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 Cold damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

@Sickly: Isn't it +1 +3, instead of +13? Previously you had +4 to your rolls.
Edit: Changed the map according to Sickly's thoughts on the minotaur's position :)

Sickly has an 18 STR. With a two-handed weapon, that's +6. With Rage you add +3. With Power attack, you add +3. So with bard bonus, that's +13. Don't know about the rest of the attack and mechanics, but the damage looks correct.
Sickly

Attack:
1 (bab)
4 (str)
2 (enraged strength bonus)
1 (bard)
-1 (power attack)
Total: +7
damage as Borax mentions (this is the first time he's raged all scenario)
Still crazy high. (Clair, I did do +4 damage on a thrown axe once (when two-handing and power attack do not apply), perhaps that's what you're remembering?)

Errm this enoucnter is over.....Mino is definitely dead. I'm just curious where does the additional +13 come from? oh wait It's a brace. Yep looks correct.

@Sickly, and no, don't down grade your damage if you one-shot it. I have absolutely no problem with you killing it one shot. You took a tremendous risk and it paid off. Borax is more than happy to cash in!!!

Thank you for clarifying it, Borax and Sickly! That damage is insane, wow.
I think the +4 I remember is indeed from the thrown axe.

That is the most damage I think I've seen from any single attack and I'm running level 6-7 missions right now. I saw a gunslinger double crit in one round and I think the did close to 120 points total, but that was two attacks. But I wasn't in the that game, was just reading it. I think it was a total of 8d12 + 48. Fortunately it was on two separate full health constructs.

Well, it can be debated whether he'd get the readied action or not... but then it would still just be his regular attack come his turn, since the Minotaur rolled lousy and didn't drop him. I suspect the same result with just 2 of the 3 damage rolls, since the minotaur was injured slightly to start.
Still feel a bit guilty though...
I suppose if I want to play a barbarian that dumped his con to 7, I should be happy to do decent melee damage... but was an awful lot of 20's.

The funny part is, I only have the lucern hammer because I couldn't afford the dwarven longhammer I wanted at level 1 so the lucern was just a standin 'til after this scenario and I could buy one...
when I was defining my action, I was thinking maybe I could try tripping him, and was looking up the lucern hammer to see if it had the trip property, then noticed it had brace... so figured what the hell, mino's like to charge and Borax rolled well enough to let us know that sort of thing, maybe I could do one round of decent damage before he dropped me like a bad habit.
Now we hope Janira is still with us...

In case the minotaur's dead, which I'm pretty sure about:
"Sickly! You did it! And you didn't die, so we don't have to drag you back before I sell your family one of my coffins!"
Clair runs over to Janiara lies and casts Cure Light Wounds on her.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Clair will also try to apply First Aid until the bleeding stops, if still needed.
Heal (First Aid): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Heal (First Aid): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Not sure why the readied action wouldn't take effect. Per RAW you interrupt his attack. What's even better is that you killed him before you got hit. And please, don't feel the slightest bit guilty. Moments like this are what makes the game so fun. I'm sure this isn't the last BBEG any of us is going to fight.

I am in total shock. This encounter totally could be a TPK, but Sickly took it down in one solid blow. If I could, I would give you bonus XP. Also, you did interrupt.
When Clair arrives at Janira's body, she finds the halfling is dead. Minotaur got her exactly to negative con, unfortunately.
You search the rest of the cave, finding you can read a couple more inscriptions and perform the remaining rituals, saddened by the death of your mentor. I am going to assume you guys took notes on the journals given to you, I don't remember if it was expressly said, but whatever.
Once safely back in the Grand Lodge, Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine
inquires excitedly about what you found and asks to see their notes. He compliments those who recorded notes for being certain to write down ideas and observations while the thoughts are fresh, observing that it’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day before as it is to recall exactly what one was thinking while studying an inscription. Seeing as how you are now the leading experts on the cave system, I think it is only fair that you be the ones to name it!" he exclaims. He looks around. "But wait... where is Janira?" Upon hearing the news, his face wilts with sorrow. "I-I understand... She died with honor, doing what Pathfinders are meant to do. It is a dangerous line of work, after all."
Three days later, each of you is Confirmed as a Pathfinder by the Master approrpirate for your area of expertise. Each of you is given a wayfinder as part of your initiation.
Day job checks if you please! I should have Sheets ready by Tuesday

Gratus brings back Janira's body and hands it over to the pahfinders there. Reporting to Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine is hard but he delivers his news.
"I'm sorry Master Shaine but Janira fought bravely but was slain by the a minotaur. She ordered us into the safety of the cave for our sakes and lured the foul beast off by herself. Her deeds should go into the records and be remembered and not forgotten."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three Days later
Gratus looks at his wayfinder. It had taken a little work but engraved on its back are the words.
For a brave Mentor, Janira
Gratus has no Day Job

"Let us name it the Janira cave system, in honor of our mentor's memory."
Clair sees to Janira's funeral, using the Society's funds to make it a memorable event for all who attend.
You barely knew us, still you died protecting us. Rest in peace, my friend.
Day Job: Profession (Gravekeeper): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Ajah Denawi

"Oh, no, Janira..." Ajah says as Clair checks her body. She sings a soft melody over the Pathfinders as a farewell to their colleague.
Day Job, Perform Sing 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Borax was disappointed the Pathfinders could not save Janira. After all she might have had more useful things to give the group.
Day Job with Crafter's Fortune and Inspiration
Day Job: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30 + Inspiration: 1d6 ⇒ 1

The dwarf was quiet, the entire way back from the caves, seemingly a little depressed, despite their victory over the minotaur.
He nods agreement, when Clair suggests naming the cave after the fallen halfling to the Master of Scrolls.
Day Job (I got the black lung, pop!): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Yanbrel, I need your PFS number for reporting. Everyone, thanks for your patience! Glad we muddled through it! In the future, my games will not be so slow! Sorry I didn't get the Chronicles done yesterday, with the programs I have at my disposal its actually a little complicated and I couldn't remember how I did it last time.

Krash, my Chronicle Sheet link says Ajah and does not have the correct DJ amount.
Krash, I'll just use Ajah's sheet and modify the DJ gold as everything else is the same.
